This light is amazing

Before purchasing this light I did a ton of research on Amazon and YouTube on safe lights and I was pretty disheartened. The prices were obscene($56-150), and many of them needed some sort of master craftsmen skill level to install for what did not seem like a fair return in illumination. I had resigned myself to posting a lamp nearby (inadequate due to the shadows) or using a headlamp (annoying) since my wife had condemned my safe to the laundry room which is pretty dim. I think this light came as an Amazon recommendation but it proved a savior. Took a chance and ordered since it was only $19.99. I actually just used the velcro and it has never fallen (1 month). The motion sensor works every time and it illuminates the safe beautifully. Because of the nature of the safe and where it is located I immediately purchases a second one for a high/low effect when I trip the motion sensor. No shelf removal, no brackets in and out, but huge space savings. Sometimes the simplest answer is the absolute best.

Best light I ever have had in my safe

This light is amazing . Super bright and slim well made For the price . I bought another one after 3 week of having this one since it was so bright and easy to work . The light comes with screws and huddle stick tape . The back is magnetic and really easy to take off to get to the batteries . Both lights move 360 degree . And left right so u can aim them in the perfect spot . The leds are so bright I took out the other two lights I had in my safe because this one is far brighter and definitely casts better light overall . I can’t say enough about this place it’s also great for inside of your pantry if there’s no lights in there and the big dark it turns on as soon as you walk past it or open the door to your gun safe . It’s a nice feature in your bathroom to put on the side of the toilet when use the bathroom in the middle of the night it illuminates and has different brightness settings .

You Light Up My Life

Works at described. Brighter than I expected. I have a small safe so I have to open the door fully which means the light won't work on the door. I put it inside instead and sometimes it requires a wave of my hand to illuminate.

Great light, but a little larger than I anticipated

I have a Stack On gun cabinet and I was using an old LED flashlight hanging from a magnetic clip. The motion detection is great and is super convenient. The light is a bit larger than I was expecting. I would say its as large as an iPhone 6 and as think as thick as 3 of them. The image makes it seem like it is half that size. This isn't an issue, but just surprising. I used the included foam sticky attachments to stick it to the roof of the cabinet and it illuminates not only the shelf but the area below where the rifles are. It would have been nicer if the magnets were strong enough to hold the light itself to metal, but they aren't strong enough. For $20 this isn't a bad deal, but if it had cost less I would have bought a few more for use with other places such as cabinets or closets. It's at that price point were 1 can be justifiable to buy, but not 4 or 5. Overall I am happy with having the one, and it does exactly what I need.

Great, multifunction light

I was highly impressed with the brightness and quality of these lights. It's very helpful that they ship with 3M adhesive pads (for mounting on hard surfaces), velcro pads (for use with 3M pads for mounting to felt such as the inside of a safe), and mounting screws for wood. The swivel lenses allow for multi-directional light and placing one light in a small handgun safe and another in a mid-side rifle safe was 'enough'. Adding a few more would be ideal, but the three intensity settings make it easy to get by with just one...after all, you're not buying these lights to read under them. It would be nice to have a switch to toggle the "time on after activation". It's permanently set at 60 seconds, and I find this a little long for my use (a 15, 30, 45, 60 sec switch would be handy and save on battery life.) However, I wouldn't take away a star for this...esp. based on the current price point which is a great value.

Bright lights

I love these little motion lights. They seem to work just fine & provide light where I need it. They are pretty bright to be so small.

All in all a great product and after three months of opening and shutting ...

Added the Gun Safe Light with PIR Motion Sensor to the top just inside the door of my Red Head gun safe. The LED's are bright enough to illuminate the interior of the safe and most of the shelving. I'm thinking about getting a second light to add toward the bottom to light up the areas where shadows are cast from the shelving above. All in all a great product and after three months of opening and shutting the safe the batteries still work! A definite plus is the level of light you want them to put out. I have the light set to the lowest setting making it easy for my eyes to adjust when opening the safe in a pitch black environment.

Great Safe Light

Works Great

I love this light. I installed it with the velcro adhesives it came with. The motion detection works great. Cool how you can adjust the lights in the direction you want. I will pick up another one for the lower portion of my safe. A little expensive if I must say

Brighter than it looks

Gun safe light are ridiculous in price. This was just to try out to see if it worked since it didn't cost much. It works great and adds a lot of light where I need it. I did test it to make sure it went out after 60 seconds and it does. It comes on as I open the door. Wish they would have had 2 when I ordered this one. you need 2 for a big safe.
