This little microscope is just what I wanted and does what the seller said it would. I have hooked it up to my laptop and wirelessly connected with with my iPad. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great little microscope!

Works exactly as described. Just install the software (F100) on your tablet or phone and plug the microscope into the wifi hub and you will get crystal clear images that are 40x to several hundred times. The usb connector on the microscope is a 2 in 1 usb/micro usb. It can plug into your laptop using the standard usb plug supplied and will work without downloading F100 software. Gently flicking the front of the usb plug downward will reveal a micro usb male connector which will plug into the wifi hub when you want to use the microscope with your tablet or phone. Everything you need to begin exploring your world in micro HD is supplied. Great customer service. They will send an updated manual by email along with a confirmation that you received the microscope and contact information should you have any questions. Highly recommend microscope and seller.

The stand isn’t the steadiest.

Microscope is perfect. The stand is not. Very flimsy and unstable. Can’t point the microscope directly down. The little wing nut can’t tighten enough to keep the ball on the stand tight so if you attach the scope it just wobbles. I put some latex from a disposable glove around it and it’s better. But this review is about the microscope and it does work on my iPhone 6s. Images come through clear. I’m happy.

Excellent resource for Biology class

I am really pleased with the product. It was very easy to use it with Mac and with Android. It is an excellent resource to use with students in classroom or Biology Lab, they are really happy discovering great images everywhere. Absolutely recommendable, the Wifi box makes easier to catch interesting images everywhere.

Works great on iPad mini and older android devices (using the wifi magic box and f100 app). Also works flawlessly hooked up directly to my galaxy note 5 using the USB Camera app. Instructions were very confusing but the manufacturer just released a new set of instructions that are spot on. I think most of the negative reviews are people not realizing the USB port is also a Micro-USB. This thing is really a gem and so much better than a traditional microscope for kids. The clarity is incredible for this price. I'm so glad I took a chance with this!

Science in the field, FTW!

I got several of these to go with some Raspberry Pi 3 B+ systems. The goal is to teach some children how to use a computer 'out in the field' as it was. I had several questions that the seller was more than happy to help with but I will say that if you are using a Linux based systems (specifically a Raspberry Pi) I would recommend Camorama for the software. I found it works better than GuvCview. I suspect it is the RAM limitation on the Raspberry Pi that is causing problems when trying to use GuvCview. Also, I found it worked better for my specific use case to just plug the camera directly into a USB port on the Raspberry. The little WiFi module is neat and seems to work very well. So I will be using THAT piece to setup some wireless cameras around the house. Come to think of it, since they are battery powered I could hook them up to a mobile system. Anyhow, I digress. Sadly the two buttons (zoom / snap) do not work in Linux for me. But that is fine; when was anything ever easy for Linux? The system works as advertised, the seller is more than happy to help you if you have questions, concerns, or problems.
