This is so easy to use. I bought it mainly to get bubbles out of resin, but yesterday I was roasting anaheim peppers and there is always that little part left unblistered. I tried my torch and it blistered perfectly. Now I like it even more. I do wish there was a fuel window, but it isn't the end of the world.

Well, it works great due to fantastic customer service. Here is what happened. When I first received it in the mail. I tried it and it worked fine, but....the head moved noticeable which I thought was kind of strange but it worked, flames on easily, has a good mechanism to stop the gas from flowing, hand guard, and nice blue flame that was adjustable with turning the knob. Besides that movement, the quality of the materials used for this product is well made. I like the foot it has to keep it standing up, and it has a straightforward lighting mechanism and procedure. Slide back that red tab, which is a good safety feature, you hear the hissing of the butane, then push the trigger right above it, it causes a spark and ignites the butane, fast and simple. To close, just turn that know the opposite direction until that red tab clicks in and locks it Simple. Of course, you have to supply the butane, it comes empty for good reasons. So when I got an email about how was my purchase, I mentioned it was okay but it move a bit, they immediately reply and helped me with checking the screws on the bottom if that was the cause of the movement, I tighten them as suggested but it was still moving, so after I replied it was still moving, they sent me an email notifying me I would get a replacement in the mail. Well, the very next day, there it was in my mailbox, the replacement torch and it works fine no movement. So they do stand behind their product and are quick to help remedy. I must of gotten a 1 in million defect, which happens, but the seller was super responsive to fix the problem. Now...I can test it on a lemon meringue pie I am planning this coming weekend and for my future baking needs. Hurray, Great seller service on their product too.

I received my culinary torch, filled it with butane, and it produced a nice flame. However when I tried to turn it off, it would not extinguish. I read the instructions again, and turned the dial to the detent, but it would still not extinguish. I had to put the torch under the kitchen sink to put it out. After extinguishing, all of the butane leaked out Update. Customer service was excellent, and i believe I just received a bad unit. They promptly sent me a replacement. .

I love this thing. I love that it's small, I love the ease of filling it with butane, I love that one filling seems to last forever, and I especially love the automatic ignition. I use it for torching resin and acrylic pours to get rid of bubbles. Very easy flame adjustment. I was of course leery of using a torch for the first time, but now I'm fine. I use a silicon mat under my work, and am very careful about what's around. To light you have to hold the red switch and turn it to get the butane gas going at least mid-way. It hisses. Then click the black automatic light button. It lights. Then if you want to, turn the flame down. But really, why not just hold it back from your food instead of turning the flame down and complaining it goes out?! To turn it off, make sure you turn the knob all the way off until the knob CLICKS. The torch will be hot, let it cool before touching it to anything.

I am having a problem with the one that was shipped to me but when I was contacted within a day of my reaching out, I had a resolution to my problem with a new one on the way. I would say that is great customer service. The lighting issue they believe is due to the flint that moved during shipping. I can make it come on with extra clicks - and when I have used it, I LOVE IT! It is light weight and does a great job. Looking forward to using this on my art projects for years to come!

I used this to finish off steak. Has a built-in starter that worked perfectly, and fired up with a powerful blue flame. Ripped through the fuel pretty quick, probably best for quicker touch ups rather than repeated steak cooking.... that said, a single can of fuel would probably get me through 6-8 meals worth of steak, which is likely an cheaper fuel cost than a larger propane solution. It’s also a very good looking piece of equipment—I have no problem leaving this on my counter as a “cool kitchen accessory” to display when I have company over.

I use the Torch for acrylic pour projects. Have had excellent results so far.

This was my first food torch and I am not disappointed. The torch is easy to use with little to no instructions and has been very reliable and useful so far. I have used it tons of times and have never made creme brulee to put things into perspective.

I had a small problem with the first torch, but Rohego were AWESOME and FAST about responding. Other than the spring coming off at first, this is a great torch. Id recommended this torch and this company

We are amateur chefs and food lovers! My husband got me a sous vide cooker for my birthday and after using it a few times we got tired of smoking out our house trying to sear the finished product on a hot skillet so we got this chefs torch and it works great!! I’m not a bbq person and I don’t care to play with fire so it was a little scary figuring out the settings once it got burning. I either had the flame too high and was at risk of burning more than just my food or it wasn’t high enough and I could smell butane. But after a few tries, I got the hang of it and I love to use it now!
