Oh man. How I’ve longed for you so. I have a 90 gallon tank that is 26” deep. No other tube was able to clean the sand without my arm in the water and the other arm aiming the water. Not only does this have length to spare but it does a great job of not sucking up a lot of sand. The valve on the end is great too. The first time I used it I just needed one pump to get full flow. Might by extras just in case!

Hey, it matches my tank! Haha. Gets the job done. A little big for my tank but still very useable. I love the on-off valve. Clean tank for happy fish!

Wow! I have a 60 gallon aquarium and this worked so well and so fast I couldn't believe it. I bought another type for more than twice the price and it did not work at all. This was absolutely a pleasant surprise! Update: I've now had this for 3 months and I still can't believe how well it works. I don't understand the negative comments. I also have a 20 gallon tank and it works so well! It cuts my cleaning time down and that's great to me. I'm ordering another just to have on hand in case anything happens to the first. Not that I expect it to, just as a back up. Very satisfied and I have recommended to others.

Very easy to put together, solid construction and parts that seem like they are going to last. This thing has a lot of suction and does a very good job of cleaning the gravel in the bottom of my tank. The clip that attaches to the bucket and holds the hose is very handy and controls the hose very well, keeping the hose aimed into the bucket. At first I didnt use the valve that stopped the water flow, thinking I wouldnt need it, but it actually makes things a lot easier at the end of the water I want to take out of the tank.

The price scared me but luckily the reviews were positive for this so I ordered it. It arrived quickly and assembly was simple enough - just make sure the arrow on the bulb is facing toward the bucket! After dropping it in my 29gal tank for a water change, I clipped the holder onto my bucket and pumped the bulb a few times and water came pour out! I was able to clear out 5 gallons in a few minutes and it caught me off guard! Cleaning the gravel was so much faster than my little siphon! The principle of a siphon is straight forward, but this is well made, comes with everything to make changing water easy and clean, and creates enough velocity to pick up debris fast!

This Aquarium Cleaning Pump worked just as advertised! Originally bought a different pump which broke almost immediately and the replacement pump broke as well, so figured these Aquarium Cleaning Pumps were all the same poor design, BUT this pump worked just as stated and it was thrilling! It worked purrfectly, all of the junk at the bottom of the tank was sucked up, the Fishies, Crabbies, and Snails were so happy with their clean tank! Easy to put together and easy to use, this Aquarium Cleaning Pump was the best buy, especially fur the price! It occasionally has problems in which case all you have to do is pull it apart and check the pump, it might be clogged, so clean it out, and Presto Meow! As good as new~

I reserve giving 5 stars to products that excel in quality, price and value. This product gets all 5 stars. In two of my images, you'll see a blue hose next to a more expensive white one. This review is about the blue aquarium water/gravel cleaning hose. First, about the white one. It cost me $3 more and arrived with a pin-hole leak in the hose. The plastic hose is so thin and non-flexible that I know from experience it will barely last two or three months. The hose has different sized ends and doesn't flex back, so when you plug it in, it will stretch and eventually lose the seal. The hose crimps very easily and won't recover from the crimp, meaning, it will break there more sooner than later. I gave it a justified 2-star rating. This less expensive blue hose is a very high quality hose. It is consistent on both ends meaning if you want a shorter one or a longer one, you can buy a replacement cheaply at the big-box home improvement store. You can see that it is much bigger than the white one. The aquarium it is draped over for the pictures is a 29/30 gallon aquarium. I'm glad the hose comes with a valve because the hose is so large it drains the aquarium very, very fast! It has a screen in the gravel-cup to keep the fish from being sucked up, but it also means it can get clogged by loose plant debris as well. The good news is that you can stick a dowel into the smaller end of the cup and push it out of the wider end if you don't want it. The hose has an anti-crimp piece so you can mount it to your aquarium glass. LOL It's hard to crimp this hose. If it does crimp, it's strong enough to flex back to normal without leaving a weak bend in the hose to break later. The valve has great flappers and works perfectly and is made of a quality rubber or plastic that should last many years. The gravel cup is made of a reasonably stiff, but flexible, almost rubbery plastic. But, be careful with it. If you crimp the edges of it, you could cause it to crack. The piece of pipe that plugs in between the hose and the gravel cup is a stiff piece of plastic that is pretty sturdy. Under normal use, I don't think you'll every have a problem with it, but it does feel like it could break if you force-bend it far harder than you should ever do in cleaning an aquarium. The hose is a think gauge, probably equal to schedule 40, and it's heavy. It's heavier than any other cleaner hose I've used. If I used it in my 40 Gallon tall (I'm trying to find it a new home) my hand would have to go into the water just a little to clean the gravel. But, for the 20, 30 and 55 gallon tanks, it's a perfect size. My 10 gallon tank is up high. The long tube means I have to hold my hand pretty high above the aquarium. The fast flow means I have to keep the valve turned down so I don't take out too much water. One pump in any tank starts the flow. The only thing "cheap" about this product is the gravel cup. It's a far cry better than the white one in the picture, but you need to consciously to protect it. If you do, it should last for years. Because of the gravel cup, I give this a 4.6 stars, which can only be flagged as 5 stars. I think this product qualifies well for the five star rating I gave it. And I don't give 5 stars very often. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it for anyone with aquariums larger than 10 gallons. (It will work with a 10 gallon, but it's a bit of an over-kill). I also have a 5 gallon that isn't set up right now, but I'm sure I'll find a different hose to use to clean it. If this review is attached to the blue hose in my pictures, get it! It's well worth it. (I recognize that sometimes reviews are somehow moved to similar, but different products, thus the disclaimer.)

I have been looking for one of these to keep my tank clean and fish healthy. I like the shut off valve and the hose holder features. The suction end was bigger than expected and the hose is generous in length (I feel it's more than pictured.) Overall five stars because you can't go wrong with it and it comes with more and cost less than what you can get at your local pet stores.

Let me start by saying that I have a 5.5 gallon tank, so the hard plastic tube was going to be too long. I knew that I would have to shorten it before I bought it. That being said, this gravel cleaner has some serious suction. It only took one pump to get the water flowing and when it is set wide open, it flows super fast (almost too fast if you're actually using it to clean gravel). So if you're cleaning gravel, set it to half open, but if you're just draining, keep it full open. It's easy to use and assemble. If you have a small or short tank, I suggest cutting the hard plastic blue tube, but make sure there's enough room to attach the tubing on the one end and the filter part on the other.

I purchased this aquarium cleaner for my 20 and 36 gallon tanks. I had a cleaner like this I purchased at a local pet store and I lost it. This one comes in quite a few pieces but it's really easy to put together with the directions that are included. Once it's put together you can stick it in your fish tank and squeeze the inflatable airbag. The water flows really quick and as long as the hose with the inlet attached is under the water the water will be sucked out of the tank. It has a faucet that you can easily turn off an on to stop the flow of water once your bucket is full. I was able to clean my tank with a bucket on the floors and the tubing was plenty long enough. This was very easy to put together and use.
