Great product, durable. I have a Doberman and a Chow and they carry these food bowls around like toys with little visible damage to bowls. The design is perfect for slowing down fast eaters. I recommend a large bowl for large dogs, I ordered mediums when they were pups and they quickly outgrew them.

These bowls work great for my new french bulldog, he eats much slower and doesn't throw up. Great price for 2, we leave one in our toyhauler for camping trips.

Bought this cause we have a Corgi that was eating to fast and then throwing up the food still whole. Since buying this we haven't had any issues with him and in fact we started using less food cause of this.

Slows my dog down

My new dog scarfed her food down way too fast so one of these bowls was necessary. It’s larger in diameter than I expected but it’s a good bowl. It would be difficult to clean by hand due to all the crevices but cleans well on the top rack of the dishwasher. Just beware that it will collect a ton of water that will need to be dumped before you pull it out of the dishwasher. It seems pretty sturdy but I am wary that the material will become brittle over time from the dishwasher. For the price I’d just buy another at that point. Overall I’m very happy and it works.

80 pound lab is not happy! It works!!!

Our lab has always finished his meals in seconds. He never chews. We have tried MANY slow feeders and he outsmarts most. The ones he doesn't, he just destroys the plastic bowls (chews up). We are not leaving the bowl out any longer and as the picture shows, he is unhappy about having to 'fish' his food from this bowl. It takes him 10-15 MINUTES to eat a meal now. He is forced to CHEW also!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought another kind also, so we can switch them out, so he doesn't figure out how to cheat the system! Well worth it to slow down a gulper!

Did the trick!

We bought this for a new-to-us dog that was out on the street for a while. When he came to our home he couldn't understand that the food would be there for him and he would gobble down his meals without taking a breath. This dish has been wonderful. It now takes him several minutes to eat and I know that's healthier. It's also kind of a game because he has to work a bit to get all his food out of the bowl. The product seems sturdy enough but time will tell. The only downside I've found is that there are small pads that fit into the bottom that supposedly keep the dish from sliding. They are barely held in place and we've already lost a couple of them. No big deal as we just stick the bowl next to a wall, but this does seem to be the weak link that could easily be fixed with a better pad design.

Helped my quick-eating 65 lbs dog

My dog would eat so fast. After she recently choked I knew I had to do something. This works great. It now takes her about 15 mins to finish her food and it seems way healthier.
