A very nice meat thermometer.

Nice features. The thermometer turns itself on when the probe is pulled away from the frame and off when it is closed, out of the way. Large, easy to read display - works well in the dark. The handle is nice and large and allows me to extend the probe out over a hot BBQ grill without scorching my hand from the heat. Seems to be well built and constructed - rugged. Reads in 1/10th degree increments, so could even be used for a precise indoor thermometer.

It came just in time for my sister's house BBQ party. She wanted to a digital instant read meat thermometer after she saw the one I got. So I bought this thermometer for her and tried it last Saturday. It worked as described, the reading is quick and accurate.

Easy to use and seems to work great. I have no way of checking to see how accurate the readings are, but they seem consistent and at least in the ballpark. Definitely good enough for a home cook's needs.

Great product! For such an inexpensive digital meat thermometer probe for BBQ, grill etc. the reading is surprisingly very accurate. Also it is very easy to use. It fitted all my needs very well. I would highly recommend this thermometer.

Well Made Product

Nicely made product. I like the rapid response time of the device. I needed to calibrate mine since it was off 1-2 degrees. A very simple task covered in the instruction sheet. Will recommend this product to others.

Easy temperature viewing with backlit display

The backlit display really helps in viewing the temps when outside in bright sunlight. The magnet and hook loop are really useful for storing the thermometer when not in use.

Great thermometer that's as fast as they claim

Fantastic thermometer. I've had digital thermometers in the past, but they were slow; this one does what it claims and delivers an accurate temperature in about two seconds. Great for grilling, as I don't have to leave my hand over the grill, waiting for a slower product to find the true internal temp.

Great quality for the price

I picked this up to replace a more expensive unit that quit working. You know the one I'm talking about. It's used by my favorite celebrity chef/nerd with the glasses. Well this thermometer does everything the old one did for half the price. I really like that it turns off when the probe is folded closed. No run down batteries. Large, easy to read screen and accurate. Comes with a magnet to hold it close and folded it fits easily into my jacket pocket.
