Backwards and clunky product. (But, fantastic customer service.)

*Update* I often feel that customer service is dead. I have to eat crow, because now I see that if only I had reached out to the company before leaving a review, they would have taken care of it promptly. While I still feel the same about the product itself, immediately after leaving this review, I received a personalized, thoughtful note from the company offering a refund for the product. It's clear that customers come first for the company and that they care for their products and their clients. For that reason alone, I'd highly encourage support of the company. Even though I am not fond of this particular product, I'll sure be ordering from them in the future. *Original Review* The quality is okay, but the lock is backwards from every other leash I've ever used; it's really difficult to get used to it. The leash is also oversized and clunky. I waited too long to return, but if I could - I would return it for a refund.

Great Product, Great Price

Very nice retractable leash. No problems stopping our 30lbs puppy running full tilt in the opposite direction and the ribbon has held up to some chewing and tugging. The included bowl is on the small side but perfectly functional and great to take on a walk or to the dog park. The bag dispenser is also great as having one on all the leashes is super handy. For the price I would highly recommend it!

I love this package!

The handle is sturdy yet not heavy, with an easy grip. The clip is nice as well. My dog chewed through his old leash and he hasn't attempted this one yet. Its nice and long and retracts easily. The dish that came with it is perfect. Its collapsable and lay flat and nice and big when opened. I haven't used the bag dispenser, I didn't even realize it was apart of the package! This is a great leash, especially for the cost. The leash my dog chewed through in 3 weeks was 25.00 bucks and that was on sale.

Best Retractable Leash I Ever Owned

My last retractable leash jammed somehow and broke just like all the other ones I have had. I bought this one because it was the best seller and had a 5 star rating. I did read in some reviews that the collapsible dish was not included. Well, put your mind at ease because not only is the leash 5 stars but so is the seller. Even before I received the leash and the assesories that came with it the seller contacted me by e-mail saying if by any chance I do not receive the collapsible dish to contact her and she will have it shipped to me. The retractable leash is very well made, better than any I have ever had, and so is dispenser for the poop bags that came with it as well along with a roll of bags. The collapsible dish did come with the leash so that was not even an issue. I am very happy with this leash and know you will be to!

Nice and sturdy

Works great for my medium/large dog. She has a tendency to go a little nuts on walks when she sees something worth loosing her mind over (every 10 seconds), and puts a lot of wear on her leashes. We got this one as a replacement for the last one she broke and so far it has been nice and sturdy and comfortable to use. The travel bowl is a nice bonus for longer hikes.

Great leash!

Just got this product in the mail the other day and it’s great! The color is nice and I was happy to see the free bonuses: the waste bag dispenser/bags along with the bowl which I know is gonna be useful for whenever I take my dog out for long walks. The leash is long and you press a button which locks the leash and if you want your dog to roam around then you simply release the lock button. It takes awhile for me to get used to the button cause I never had this type of leash before but it’s so useful for my dog since he likes to walk ahead of me/walks fast! I highly recommend this and it’s definitely worth the price for 3 items!! My dog loves it as well :)

Great Product

After rescuing a 53lb. pit bull from a family member that could no longer care for the 10 year old pet my wife and I decided to care for her. She's a wonderful dog and likes her 2 to 3 mile daily walks so we decided to invest in this retractable dog leash since the one she already had was only 10' long and made for a smaller pet. After pricing this type of leash in pet shops and reading the reviews we decided to give this one a try and after a super fast delivery we have used it for over a week and are 100% satisfied. Is very smooth to operate and easy to lock and unlock also and now our pet can roam as far as 16' from us with no problems. We're very glad to have purchased this item for a great price and highly recommend it.

heavy duty

It was sturdier than I had anticipated, but that is a good thing. My previous leash was a cheapy from Walmart, and this leash is so much better. It's really easy to hook up and unhook. It has the non-slip grip all the way around the handle. High quality and it exceeded my expectations.

Very hardy, excellent quality

The Leash arrived in very good time in perfect condition. I am a first time user of a tape retractable leash, but as I hated the cord retractable that would invade every crevice (including a headlight in my car) I thought it was with a try! I have only been using the leash for a few days with my 12.5 energetic Chiweenie, and so far so good. The one press control can be a challenge, but I'm sure after a little more use that won't be an issue. The tape seems to be pretty hardy, my pup isn't a chewer but is very adept at getting wrapped around trees etc. and I don't see any fraying. The bowl has been very well used, definitely, a good addition--as an aside the bowl needs to be attached to the poop bag holder as the clip doesn't fit over the handle. Excellent quality, the handle is very comfortable with a nonslip rubbery feel and big enough to accommodate any size hand.

Worth the money and can handle large dogs for sure

Definitely skeptical when it arrived - but quickly realized it was definitely worth the money. Only thing I don’t like is how everything clips to the handle instead of a built in eyelet or something, but would not prevent me from buying again! The leash doesn’t seem like it would hold a 100lb dog but our large German Shepherd feels safe on it at >75lbs.
