Great mod

I like it. Works great. Added security to my gas tank. Easy to install after reading manual

Easy to install-looks great-nice addition

Instructions were clear and it was an easy installation. Just make sure you check that the new door is level. While they supply screws that are supposed to pierce the metal I felt more comfortable drilling one hole installing one screw first, rechecking the level and then doing the others. Total time was 10 minutes using a drill and screwdriver. Only time will tell if the surface continues to look good.

Easy..

It fits a 2018 JK Jeep Sahara. It's cheaply made but does the job especially for the price. Easy..... to install. Look on YouTube.

Security in times of rising gas prices!

I travel to many areas less secure and no longer have a garage at home so having a more secured locked gas tank cap is valuable to me deterring those who see open gas cap access on a car. Love it, thanks for fast shipping too.

Better than expected!

I was skeptical at first but once in my hand I realized the great purchase I made. Inexpensive compared to other locking fuel caps. Comes with two keys. Also has magnetic closing so it won't just open if you forget to lock it! Easy to install, color was just fine no scratches. Love it.

it can be done easily with a screwdriver

This is not heavy duty. It is made of a thin metal. If someone really wanted to get access to your gas tank, it can be done easily with a screwdriver. It is more of a determent that a security feature. That being said, for the price, it is a great product. It looks good and keeps kids from messing with the gas tank. Hopefully if they see this, they will just move on to a different car and leave ours alone.

Fast install, works great

This was a very easy installation, and has worked perfect in the three months I’ve had it on. I don’t know how great the threat of folks stealing gas is, or even how extra secure it is to have small locking feature like this added, but it’s a nice feature to have, and actually looks really good on the jeep, as if it were stock.

easy to put on - seems better than the last design I tried

I paid a lot more for a metal version from a big jeep parts supplier - it BROKE right at the hinge joint in just a few weeks because it was cheap, plastic,and had no way to adjust the hinge joint. It was just worthless. Anyway - I tried this one - it was MUCH less and yes, it's basically all plastic. BUT...it's got a great hinge joint that I can adjust and even replace the bolt and nut if needed down the road. It should be OK. Looks - it's good. All black - looks like the other black parts on the jeep Function - it's got lock that is basically a deterrent...but I knew that...it's just the keep the opportunistic idiots away from the open gas cap. this VS a a locking gas cap? - I tried that immediately after the other cover broke - tried 2 actually....both set off the check engine lights....even the MOPAR one. They shrugged and I went back to the factory gas cap. So... I needed a another cover...thus this one.
