Actually very impressed with this little kit. It came very quickly in the mail and with a handy black storage case. It works great and as expected. Great value for what you get. I love woodburning and needed to upgrade my tool to a little better brand. This is the one, I'm still learning more all the time but with this burner it's a lot easier. I also purchased a book with the wood burner,its very informative and full of ideas,and projects to learn with. Very happy shopper,and woodburner in training.

Great Starter Kit for learning woodburning

This is a great woodburning starter kit. I did my research and watched several Youtube video tutorials and this machine works perfectly on thin wood, which is what I wanted it for. With the addition of paint and embossing I've made some beautiful crafts already and hope to make more.

I am constantly seeing things in stores that I know I could make myself! Like all those pretty bohemian shelves with intricate wood designs? So I bought this in order to prove myself right. The instructions didn't really say more than put a tip on and plug it in. I would have preferred examples of what each tip did, but I'm sure I can figure them out! It was a bit harder than I thought. And my first try didn't have the cleanest lines, but I think I'm getting the hang of it?

Great for the first time woodburner!

I really like this Woodburning kit! When I first used it I did apply too much pressure and I bent one tip. Since I have never done this before I didn't know! The variety of tips and stencils that is comes with is great for a first time woodburner. I will continue to learn and hopefully not ruin another tip! Would highly recommend!

A new hobby!

I have always been intrigued by wood burning so I made an impulsive buy, and went for it. I love the tool and enjoyed making two maps of Middle Earth. The pen does get hot, but it is not hard to adjust to it by moving your fingers back and I've noticed some bending. But seeing as it was my first attempt, I'm sure I pressing too hard. Only conplaint is that as a beginner, I would have liked to have something telling me what each tip is called and what it is used for. Wasn't hard to google and decipher what I should be using, but I would also expect it to come with an explanation for that many pieces. Love it and I am addicted to this already!

Incredible service and quality

This woodburner works REALLY well and can make some gorgeous designs. I received mine and followed the instructions incorrectly (i switched the tips while it was still hot) and ended up breaking off one of the tips inside the burner, making it pretty much useless. I sent a message to the seller about it and they sent me a new one right away, no questions asked! A+++ customer service and still a fantastic product, just follow the directions!

Complete with carry bag, was easy to get to know, I love my new wood burning kit!

Have not used one of these since high school. I had to have it! I was pleasantly surprised with the zippered carry bag everything fits in. Very easy to use once I read everything and took a few trial and error attempts. I'm loving this more every time I use it! Now it's time to get all of those projects done I keep waiting on someone else to help me with. Definately recomended!

Great kit - for beginner or advanced user!

I purchased this kit to try my wood burning skills. Delivery was fast and everything as described. It use - this kit is great - you get lots of attachments (more that I would ever need, I think), variable temp and stencils that are very handy and useful. I think this a great start for a cool and creative hobby and with this set you get all you need and then some! I looked at similar kits and this offered most features for the money, and turned out being a quality product to boot. I'd recommend this kit to anyone who wants to try out woodburning . And it can double as a solder iron too!

It was easy to set up and to use

We are liking this wood burner kit. I ended up buying a second to give as a gift. It was easy to set up and to use. It heats up quickly and it was easy to switch tips when needed. My husband has started a couple of projects with them and it's worked out really well.
