Good Gel Pens

i received the gel pens and started trying them out, two of the 36 gel pens didn't want to work, but i just held the tip in some water and i got one of them to start working. if you get these pens and they don't want to work just try that. i really like the gel pens and will be getting more.

I've bought gel pens before that were atrocious, that would dry out mid word and you gotta shake it and scribble to get it working. I recently broke my foot and decided to give these pens a try to keep me busy and I love them. My friends make fun of me cause I write them letters just to give me more reasons to use the pens. And the pens are separated in the package by glitter, metallic, etc...And the case is sturdy. Awesome purchase...thanks!

So far I am really happy with these pens and I’ve absolutely NO regrets with this purchase...in fact I have to force myself to step away from coloring as I enjoy them that much! I’ve found all pens that I’ve used to be smooth, and fluid from the get go...no repeatedly tapping to get the ink flowing. I REALLY like the packaging! The pens actually stay in place and I like that you don’t have to open up all 80 pens to get one. I might end up cutting the 4 parts into individual sections since I don’t travel with these, but even if I don’t, it still works great. I took a star away for these two reasons: 1) In order to get “80 unique colors” it seems as though with just a few pens they just threw in “something” to change the previous color up a bit...it’s hard to describe, but the ink almost looks “old”....BUT I will say that so far I’ve still enjoyed the uniqueness of those few pens. 2) At least two pens had bottom caps that belonged to a different pen ***** UPDATE 03/01/2019 ***** I decided to change my original 4 star to 5 as I TRULY have THROUGHLY enjoyed using these pens! I color quite a bit and haven’t really noticed many of the pens ink levels going down. This to me means two things: 1) I’ve not picked out only a handful of colors I like and have primarily used those. Instead I’m equally using all the colors which has never happened with a set I’ve purchased previously. 2) The pens have either very nice quality ink or the quantity of ink is greater than other brands. On a final note, I wanted to add that I get very little smearing with these pens. I still don’t lay my hand on work that I’ve just completed (I rotate my page) but with prior pens I would need to walk away for a day to allow the project to dry and even then I’d still get some smearing. I will absolutely be reordering these pens!

WOW! Surprisingly AWESOME Pens!!!

I am sitting here in disbelief just still amazed at the quality of these gel pens! I am a gel pen connoisseur of sorts, particularly anything of the glitter variety so I have tried every variation of glitter gel pens offered here on Amazon. I’m not even joking. I have a serious problem. I have my favorites and my not so favorites and surprisingly enough the price of the pen or brand has never been a reliable way of determining quality so I don’t know why these pens caught me so off guard. However they sure did. These pens are so smooth, so sparkly, and so reliable! Just like that with a couple strokes of the pen they jumped right on up to being one of my favorite brands! There are a few different factors for gel pens that determine high quality to me. Flow, smoothness, color vibrancy, sparkle, long lasting, color selection, refills, comfort, and price (to name a few) are especially important to me and are what I use to base my rating of quality with. Flow: These pens flow like a silk scarf in the wind and are easily comparable to the best of the best pens out there. I have experienced zero skipping, blobbing, scratching, leaking, or anything like that. Not even with one single pen. This is really unusual as there usually is always one bad apple in any pack from any brand. Smoothness: Like butter Color Vibrancy: Varies. There are some very bright and vibrant colors in this pack as well as some more natural ones. I will say that the bright ones in this set are not the most vibrant I have come across, still they are bright and crisp. Personally, I do a lot of nature coloring and prefer the more neutral tones. Sparkle: There are two brands that have the most glitter I have seen. All the other brands seem to be about equal in glitter amounts. These gel pens contain about the same amount of glitter as the top two. I loooooove glitter! Long lasting: This one I am going to have to come back and update since I haven’t gone through an entire pen yet. However I will say that things are looking good on this front. You can pretty much tell from the moment you start using a pen how quickly the ink is going to go and these seem like they are going to last a while as they are on the more conservative end of the spectrum. Typically this makes a pen less smoother than the ones that pour out but this is not the case with these guys. They are still very smooth! Another reason I believe these will last is that the ink tube is very full and the barrel is larger than the standard gel pen. Color selection: I purchased the 80 count pack (there is also a 48 count one) and the color selection is pretty similar to all the others. There are a couple unique colors but mostly these match the rest of the brands. There is not much variation in the colors of this pack though and I would really like to see more in the future from this company. Although there is no two of the same exact of any color they are stil pretty darn close to the same shades. For myself, with so many different brands of pens, I look for new and different colors that I don’t already have, but if this were to be someone’s main pack of pens there is definitely more than enough of every color you could ever need. Refills: Refills are important to me to be able to purchase separately without having to buy a whole new set of pens because of cost. I don’t believe this set has refills available but they also are so inexpensive that this is not really a factor. Comfort: I prefer the bigger barrel pens with the tight fitting caps and comfort grip pads. These pens have it all!!! Price: This is the most inexpensive pack I have ever purchased to date for the size. Amazing!!! Some other factors may be more important to others. Storage is a good example. It is not important to me because I have my own storage system but these come in the standard annoying plastic folding pack that most all the others do. I can’t stand those packs haha but they work in a pinch! I’d rather pay for the quality to be in the pen instead of the packaging anyway! Bottom line: You have to get a set!!!

Yes! They are ALL glitter!

Great pens! They all work perfect and write smooth as silk! The colors pop and there are no duplicates which surprised me because ALL 80 pens are glitter! Great buy overall! I think I'll get 2 more!

Smooth, Vibrabt

These pens are beautiful. I'm able to create nice solid lines with barely any effort and my hands never get tired. This is especially important to me where I have carpal tunnel and have been unable to draw for quite sometime now. As you can see from my photo, one of the pen clips arrived broken but it doesn't take away from the overall performance of these pens so I say thumbs up to Tanmit on an excellent product I will definitely buy again!

I Struck Gold

I struck gold when I purchased these gel glitter pens! They hit every note: glide smoothly with no skipping, large ink cartridge, substantial to hold without being heavy to the hand, great colors, great price, and they even have rubber grippies which are removable with a little effort and can be used elsewhere. I even like the carry case that isn’t made of that hard plastic but is soft and easily carried in my tote and separatable in 4 parts so you don’t even have to take the whole set if you don’t want to. And the don’t easily bleed through to the other side of the paper but I usually put a cardboard behind anyway. My only regret is that I didn’t order two sets of pens.

Great pens.

These pens are a great value for the price. You need to shake some of them prior to using as the ink settles over time. They write fine after shaking a few times. Light silver color is a little hard to see. Colors are mainly in the green, blue & pink spectrum. No real true red or yellow colors. I ordered another set of the same brand with some pastel colors & neon colors. Some of the blues, greens & pinks are close to the same color, but with 80 colors that is probably unavoidable. They color well in adult color books (white paper). I also like that they have the rubber grip which is easier on your hands. Overall, a very good value. I would order this set again.

Actually as good as reviews say!

Based on all the rave reviews I ordered two sets for a disabled friend who colors every day. She raves about them and gave one set as a gift. At these prices, I ordered her 4 more. I also ordered there glitter set of 96. We'll see if they are as good. It was a joy to find honest reviews that actually reflected how the product was.

Hands Down the BEST set of Glitter Pens on Amazon!!

I have been using the smaller set of glitter pens by Tanmit, so I never even considered purchasing a different brand when I was in need of a larger selection of colors. They are by far the most impressive pens I have ever used. They all wrote perfectly the very first time, ink came out evenly with no blotches or drips, and they have just the right amount of glitter in each color. This set contains every color imaginable, including several in neon, and they come in a easy to use plastic holder that folds open allowing you to see each pen clearly. It is obvious that Tanmit has the perfect recipe for making glitter pens and they are consistently of the highest quality, a difficult thing to find these days. I HIGHLY recommend this set for anyone who enjoys coloring...from the simplest card to the highly detailed pictures they can't be beat!
