Love these head phones. I just tried these out at the gym. They cancel the noise of the machines and I can hear my own music now at a lower volume. As for the bass response: other reviews I have read said it wasn't that good. I disagree. I plated music on Pandora and the bass rattled my brain. I am more than pleased with these.

Finally I found the right Over the ear NC headphones for me

I have tried so many NC headphones over the last year I have lost count from expensive, mid-range, to cheap. You name it I more than likely have tried it but all had one problem and it was nothing fit right. I first I wanted to go straight to the top and get either the Bose Q35 or Sony W insert binary number X headphones but didn't want to drop that money and for other reasons. (I have a pair of Bose Soundlinks and while they are great they are cheaply made and fall apart after a couple months, and the sonys, one of my friends has and he hates the bass on them and I listen to mostly hip hop podcast and R&B). For me I needed four things, Great sound with punchy bass, loud on my android phone, sleek design and comfort (I have the head the size of the mountain from GOT). These headphones seem to have been made for me. The have the sound of the Sony MDR-XB950B1 with slightly less bass, the comfort of my old Bose SoundLinks, they are loud and most importantly they fit my Conan O'Brien sized head (Team Coco for life). I love these things , and for the NC while not the best in class they do take care of low noises like shower or fan but I don't see them keep out the chatter of people at low volumes but like I said these bump so you put the volume up and your good to go. Sound leakage isn't bad either, you won't have to worry about it at the office but I don't listen to music too loud at work in case someone decides they want to go postal and I have to bounce quick. All in all I love these headphones I hope they last long and if you purchase them I hope you love them as well. I was not paid for this review and I had to sneak these past my wife because she says I have a headphone problem, she might be right......

Excellent sound quality with decent noise canceling

Sony WH-CH700N is a headphone for people who like accurate and clear sound reproduction. It doesn't artificially boost bass or treble. It simply provides a non manipulated sound with no sacrifices in high, mid or low frequency ranges. So it's perfect to use with a good equilizer. However it sounds cristal clear without an equilizer. Sony offers a great sound equilizer for Android and iOS that works with some of their headphones and this is one of them. So you literally can tailor-make the sound reproduction of this headphone based on your pfreference. In that sense these headphones behave like a Sennheiser at a fraction of the cost. If you want to buy these mostly for noise cancelation then you are better off looking elsewhere. They do a descent job at noise canceling but there are better choices out there for just this purpose although very few of them have the sound quility of these. So in sum, if you want a headphone with excellent sound and decent noise canceling then this a great option.

Love the headset

Love the headset. It is like I see at photo. The package was all very good. And the delivery was before the day. The noise-canceling is insane. The bass, the sound of music, confortable. This Sony headset has all I need. I star using 4 weeks ago and by now I have not charged.

good for the price!

got these on sale for my bday. i dont used them as often as i should but since i have bought them, i have yet to charge them. i dont even think i charged them once i got the out the box. so i cant say for sure how long the life is but since i got them at the end of December last year, they have still been working on that one charge. this is my first pair of wireless headphones (with the exception of my beats that are attached by wire. not this style but the smaller ones) so i cant really compare them and im nowhere near knowledgeable in the sounds and all that but i will say that, to me, while i listen to them, i tend to put the volume up and it sounds nice and well but the thing i hate is that if i remove them from my ears while its still playing, i can hear it very loud and clearly. they sound off my ears just like i wished they'd sound while im wearing them. thats just me. i just hate that i can be listening to something and if someone walks by, they can also probably hear what im listening to. but for the price and knowing absolutely nothing about this kind of technology, they work for me well. i love the color and the feel of them. they dont hurt at all. theyre worth it to me!

These are awesome

I wanted a pair of Bluetooth noise canceling headphones since I travel a lot and am on airplanes often. These were affordable and have by far exceeded my expectations. The sound is great and blocks out a lot. I have to make a conscious effort to pay attention when beverage service is happening otherwise I won't hear the flight attendants asking me if I'd like anything to drink. Oops. The battery life is incredible as well. I charged it once after initially receiving them and have not needed to recharge them yet even though I use these pretty frequently. There is also an app you can download to change the sound settings on the headphones. Overall, great product value!

The best headphones in my collection

I tried this headphones before buying them. I went to a big store and had the opportunity to test a few Bose, Beats, skulls and a couple of other Sony. I wasn’t planning to buy anything because I already have 8 different headphones at home but... I tried them on and got this Wow feeling. To be honest I wasn’t expecting them to sound this good. I have a really good set of headphones (Senheisser 700 with a DAC and headphone amp connected to my computer) but somehow this pair of Sony just delivered the right sound out of the box. The reason I wasn’t expecting a great sound is that they are wireless and in theory you just can’t get the same sound, there is a loss in quality and this is a fact but... I use them with my phone and even though some people complain about the app I believe that they are critical to the experience. After a few minutes tweaking it, I got my perfect sound. Like I said before, I tested a few others, including the most expensive Sony and a few others but this one was the right one for me. You might have a different taste or you might listen to different genres and picking headphones is just a very subjective experience but I could not be happier. Since I got them they are my first option and I feel a little disappointment with the rest of my collection right now. About the sound: Clear, they are amazingly clear. If you like to hear all the instruments you are going to enjoy them. Space, they have enough spacious to feel the separation and the soundstage is pretty good for the price Bass, if you like it, they have it. Comfort: very very comfortable. They are light and you might forget that you are wearing them. Pads: made of plastic. I start sweating after an hour. Last thing, you are always going to find good options and certainly more expensive headphones but you should try these and not because they are cheaper but because they are really good.

Comfortable but not best value around

Sound was definitely its strongest feature ,well balanced even with noise cancellation on they are light and battery seems to perform very well they don’t included a case at this price range I don’t see why they don’t. Noise cancellation is better than other value brands like taotronics but my advise at this price range I would take a serious look at the Ankers Soundcores that match their noise cancellation quality, more Comfortable offering memory foam ear pads and a carrying case that is super nice. Sony here is cutting corners and unfortunately to get a similar value you Have to pay way more and jump all the way to their 1000NX2 which are at a totally different price range
