No Wifi, not smart

Spray does not do the hard work, I had to disconnect all the parts to get to the throttle, I thought buying the spray is all I need to do, also had to press the spray to release the cleaner, wish they would build a smart one with WiFi that does all the work. Just kidding its a great product, now my engine runs like a champ.

Works great

The carb cleaner arrived on time and has a spray tube with it. It cleaned my cultivator carburetor perfectly. It also kills bees on contact. Great stuff, I'll buy it again.

Works Great!

Started using "Specialist" WD-40 products after finding them on Amazon. Did not know this line existed until then. Used this product to clean the throttle body on our 2008 Ford Expedition 5.4L V8. Engine was misfiring and got a code that I should clean the throttle body. Read other reviews to not use regular carb cleaner which I was prepared to do. Says that it is too harsh and will strip off the coating on the throttle body. Used this instead. Took off layers of grime from 200,000+ miles in 5 minutes with this, a toothbrush, and a rag. Looks shiny and new. Did exactly what it says it does, no problems. Would purchase again for sure. I did wear gloves when I used this.

Used for Throttle Body

Used to clean the Throttle Body Plate on my 2007 Mazda 3 s. 1. Remove air intake 2. Use shop paper towels (less fuzz) and spray this cleaner onto the plate. 3. Never open the plate with your fingers, this is an electronic piece of equipment. 4. For my car, you need to press down on the gas pedal to open the plate to clean the ack side. Ideally. You should always removed your throttle body before cleaning to prevent flooding and carbon falling into your engine. This will typically solve all RPM issues (car running low- stalling out)

Perfect for cleaning a throttle body

I’ve always loved WD40 and duct tape so when I needed carb cleaner for my throttle body and I saw this by the same brand I was happy knowing it would be good quality. This worked great for cleaning the throttle body on my old trailblazer. I’d buy this again with confidence.

Toro Recycler Carb Cleaning

I bought this to clean the carb on a lawn mower that had not been started for 4 years. All of the fuel in the tank had evaporated and upon putting new gas in the tank it started but died right away. I was able to clean the carb quickly with this product. Took about 10 minutes. I had always used gumout in the past so I was skeptical. The mower is back running like it was new. Also changed the oil, air filter and blade. I would recommend this product.

Great cleaner, easy to use, lots of variability in fluid flow

I used this to clean the VANOS sensors in my E70 2009 BMW X5’s N52 engine, fixing the check engine light and a stall at startup. I was dubious as to whether it would work and how long it would last but a few weeks and 1000 later she’s still behaving beautifully. The spray straw isn’t an innovation, but the trigger does have a lot of flexibility in how fast the liquid comes out, which makes it easy to use without blowing gunk everywhere. Good stuff!

New favorite brand

You think all automotive cleaning products are created equal? So did I. I got these on a Whim just because I was tired of the decreasing amount of material in offbrand autostore cleaners cans, and I was very impressed. Worked OK on dried bad fuel, but is a dream on grease, I was cleaning off an old oily starter and I basically just had to spray it down and watch the oil and grease melt off. Just, a very good product, worth the extra dollar every day of the week.

DR Chipper Repaired!

I picked up a used DR Chipper on Craigslist that had been sitting under cover for the past decade. While it had been drained of fuel there was residual fuel in the carburetor so the machine turned over but would not start. This product made it easy to disassemble the carburetor (without removing) and remove the gummed up fuel deposits from the jets. Now it runs like new! Very impressed with how easily this removed the built-up deposits, excellent product.

A must have car care product!

Had a problem with throttle sticking on my 2001 Nissan Quest. Accelerator pedal would stick then jump and engine would lurch unpredictably. This special WD40 product does what it says - I sprayed on throttle plate, wiped off the gunk and build-up - also sprayed inside the intake and then revved the engine and seems to have blasted it clean. No more throttle sticking issues and now have smooth acceleration. Amazon was the only place I could find that sells this product!
