Very happy with this keyboard! But I think it’s important to mention that the customer photos are misleading. I think some people meant to review a different keyboard. I know I was thrown off. Please refer to the professional photos that are included in the listing. Those are accurate. My review includes pics of the keyboard sent to me for this specific listing and they match the professional pictures. COLOR / CONSTRUCTION: - Beautiful rose gold tone. Very close match to the rose gold hue that Apple uses. - There’s NO cut out for the Apple logo like some of the customer photos show. I prefer that look. I think it’s sleeker. - The material seems durable. I don’t foresee it scratching or scuffing easily like other cases I’ve owned. - The plastic is flexible enough to snap the iPad in and out easily without worrying about damage. KEYS: - The keys are backlit with multiple colors to choose from. I included a video rotating through the color options. - The keys are white on the rose gold version of the keyboard. - Keys are quiet when typing. They feel sturdy. The individual keys seem smaller than competitors’, but the typing is accurate and easy to use. ROTATION - The 360-degree rotation is a very nice feature. I can use the keyboard as a stand to watch movies/videos on. The tilt has a 180 degree range. - Rotation is smooth and “locks” into place once it’s parallel with the stand so you don’t have to worry about the iPad swiveling if you’re typing. This is a solid keyboard and I have no complaints so far. Will update this review if anything comes up!

Absolute must for College/University students looking to go paperless with an iPad Pro!

I’m pretty sure this is actually my first review left on Amazon and...as the headline reads this case is a must if you’re a paperless student using an iPad. I have the pencil to go with it and switching between note taking and drafting papers is so much better with a physical keyboard! I’m using a 256 Gb WiFi model and I’m loving it in this case! Pros: - Amazing battery life (if you don’t use the backlight, still it’s pretty decent) - Aluminium casing definitely makes it feel like the iPad is protected! - Aesthetically speaking-the circle window for the Apple logo looks nice but it’s also good for displaying any sticker or logo you want to ‘debrand’ your iPad - The keys themselves are really nice and responsive...about 2mm travel so not much. They do make an audible click but it’s so subtle that it’s still pleasing to the ear. No where near as loud as mechanical keys. - The 360* swivel makes for good transition to tablet mode for writing and sketches (Notability or Procreate are what I use) - Keyboard shortcuts are so nice to have that you often forget you have them until you need them and have no way of using them...essentially any copy/paste/cut commands plus some others Cons: - The palm rest is glossy...(my personal OCD minus one star for comfort) glossy means fingerprint/skin oil magnet...I’m considering black tape or some flat paint to cover it (THIS IS A PERSONAL THING, YMMV) - Top half is a little bit heavier with the iPad installed than the keyboard half making for high angle viewing difficult without it tipping over. - The Bluetooth sleep timer is a bit short but that might just be another of my personal things...I find myself double tapping the home key frequently, especially if I’m surfing around on Google. - A little on the heavy side but that’s to be expected from a keyboard case made of Aluminium that has an internal battery. One thing I have to say about Earto Direct: I had an issue with my first case, the “K” key randomly stopped working while the backlighting and all surrounding keys worked like new. After recording a quick video of the issue and a short email exchange with support, they replaced it with a new one! Very courteous individual and overall amazing customer support! I’m definitely recommending this case to anyone with the 10.5” iPad Pro, especially if they’re a student!

Great customer service

I want to love this keyboard case. It looks and feels great, really sturdy. The hinge definitely feels reinforced as opposed to other similar products that showed the hinge completely cracking and breaking off. My only complaint is that when I received my package, I already got a faulty product. :( It came with a scratch on the backside and there was some weird scrape or residue in the crack on the back side (the side where the apple logo shows). Additionally, on the bottom of the case (the bottom of the keyboard), it came with a protective plastic film covering to protect the aluminum. However, I noticed the plastic had a lot of residue or lint underneath it as well as a bunch of air bubbles... I'm not sure if they sent me a refurbished product or not. I spent hours trying to choose between this case and other similar cases on amazon, and for $57 I definitely expected to receive a product in perfect, brand new condition, so I'm seriously disappointed about that. In terms of actual performance, it's great. I used it at school all day today and my ipad still shows it as having over 90% battery despite putting in a few hours of usage today. The keys feel great, its a gorgeous color, and I love all the keyboard light colors. I'm not going to bother returning it since mine seems to be functioning perfectly fine and with time it's bound to get scratched up or worn out regardless. It has only been one day so I'll update this review if needed. Update: earto reached out to me and offered to send me a free replacement! Great customer service :)

Very well built for the money!

I had been looking for an affordable case for my iPad Pro for a while, as well as a bluetooth keyboard I could connect when I need to use my iPad more like a laptop. This case/keyboard combo seemed to be the perfect solution. I was skeptical about the quality, as comparable accessories cost quite a bit more (especially Apple accessories). The build quality on this is NICE! The case is very sturdy and the screen holder has a good, solid feel at the folding/rotating hinge. The matte finish does not attract fingerprints at all. I didn't expect too much from the keyboard, but is has solid key presses and fits even my large hands nicely. Honestly, this keyboard has a better feel than my Sony Vaio laptop. As far as functionality, I am very impressed. Pairing it was super easy. The RGB keyboard is pretty cool and allows you to change color and brightness with the push of a button. The case also seems like it would protect the iPad very well if dropped. I only have one caution. The keyboard and case are heavy and bulky. This will more than double the thickness of your iPad and it adds quite a bit of weight. However, I like this. I want my iPad to be protected and be able to function as a laptop, which is exactly what I got. This is now like an armored, mini Macbook Pro! It has a 500mAh battery and claims 200 days of standby time. Awesome! Highly recommend this compared to much more expensive alternatives.

I'm not the person who typically leaves reviews in amazon but I felt obliged after a played around with the Earto keyboard case. I had the apple smart keyboard case that stopped working right after the 1 year warranty and just googling around it seems that I wasn't the only person suffering from that issue. The case is made of plastic with the only downside being that it is a fingerprint magnet. Otherwise it looks and feels sturdy and does make your ipad look and feel like a laptop with a touch screen. I like the keyboard shortcuts at the top of the keyboard. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. I only wish that had a place for the apple pencil within the case.

Reliable in function and beautiful in appearance

This keyboard is exactly the same as the description. It comes just in time as I want it to be, with a beautiful rose gold color! It comes with a USB charger and instruction, fun unpacking experience. I tried to connect it with my iPad following the instruction, and it works in no time. It takes some time to learn the shortcuts but they are not complicated at all. Love love the light that comes through the keyboard! Simple design, great product. I think I'll use this every day from now on.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS

I thought this didn’t work well the charger didn’t but I had a spare charger from a wireless speaker so that worked great. Then since I lost the directions I didn’t know how to pair it (it’s. By holding fn key bottom left and c at the same time then you see the pair light come on top right. To change colors of backlit keyboard press the lightbulb on the bottom by the command key and as you hold it down press the page up key until you find the color you like. The customer service is awesome, they were going to send me a brand new one but I cancelled it when I found a video finally on how to pair it. If the chat people would have just given me step by step directions since mine were lost, it would’ve been an even easier transaction. Love that I have a touchscreen and keyboard computer in one. These would make amazing gifts for students.

Really like this a lot

I am editing my initial review. Customer service is fantastic and they sent a new device when the new model came out because I wasn’t 100% satisfied. The new model has more protection for my iPad than the first model and the keys are super responsive - much better than most Bluetooth keyboards. You wouldn’t even know it was Bluetooth.

Will never buy another brand, this one’s it

This is my second time purchasing this case and only because I love it so much. I originally purchased the Tiffany Blue case when I first got my iPad Pro. It was love at first boot-up. I am on my iPad all day, every day. I’m a full-time online student, small business owner, freelance artist, and busy mom. The keyboard is spaced out perfectly and the keys have a satisfying feeling as you type with no lag. It is also a guilty pleasure to have the option to change the color of the backlight keys. The backlight is not only fun for atheistical reasons but is really effective while binge watching at night with my husband, I can still see my keyboard without distracting him. As a freelance artist, it was incredibly important for the case to have a good swivel motion and that would TRUELY lay flat and steady. I’ve had other cases that would shift or rock back and forth as I would draw on the screen which would immediately result in a unsatisfactory line. The hinge is also strong enough to keep the angle in which you place it without falling down. I’m constantly swiveling the screen between uses as well as for just watching videos or reading things while cooking. Lastly, as someone pretty ditsy myself and with a toddler around, I wanted a case that could withstand a little knocking around as well as fully protect my iPad. I’ve now had my iPad Pro for 2 1/2 years and it doesn’t have a scratch or dent anywhere on it. So, with all that; I am hard on my cases as I use it so much in my day-to-day. My first case, I had dropped one too many times and there began a separation of plastic on the hinge but it was easily remedied. I purchased the case a second time in another color (Papaya) because of it being such a great product and continued to work with the case for hours upon hours every day. For some reason or another, the P key and the Space Bar began to act up. I’m not sure what happened so I reached out to troubleshoot with Earto and they responded quickly even during the holiday! They were very understanding and worked with me with multiple troubleshooting methods that not only came with clear instructions but even little videos to make sure I wouldn’t get lost. Sadly, I wasn’t able to fix the problem. So, Earto replaced my keyboard case completely and sent it to me very quickly, just in time for my next semester. My new case (Rose Gold) is perfect as I expected it to be and I’ll never get another brand of keyboard case again. Great product and if fathomable, even better customer service. Get the case, register your product (Registration is just a super quick, one line e-mail and you’re good for a year for ANY problem), and enjoy!

High Quality Keyboard

I purchased this to for a new iPadPro and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality. The cons are it's a weighty keyboard and could use a snap-lock should the case be dropped and also hard plastic. Bluetooth takes a second or two to wake up and does not buffer your typing so have to retype. Pros are it is very high quality and perfect for those who essentially use their ipad as a laptop. I've charged it once and it still has power the second week of usage. The backlight is a nice feature to have that I did not have on the older Logitech. The keyboard heavy weight is for a counter-balance for the ipad preventing it from tipping over even with rigorous use. The screen swivels so that you can turn it totally over and use touch screen only, also a convenient feature I was not expecting. Keyboard base has rubber feet preventing slipping on a table. The open punch-outs fit the switches, speakers, and camera perfectly without covering up the dials providing full iPad functionality. Definitely worth the few extra bucks.
