2006 F150 and ARE fiberglass topper

I purchased these for my 2006 F150 6.5 ft bed and fiberglass ARE topper. They fit perfectly. The original ones had to be replaced. One of the things that I did with the new clamps is use brake pad grease to coat the bolts threads with, so they will be easier to remove in the future. The original ones seemed to corroded/welded together and had to break them off at the bolt to remove. I had originally ordered the another brand that was supposed to fit my F150 and were to work with my ARE fiberglass topper but the top bracket clamp "bit" was too small and did not engage the upper clamp across the ARE fiberglass base and the truck box side rail. The new ones worked perfectly! Great product!

Hold like a salmbich

Know what holds a truck top better than four clamps? Six! These take a while to get sorted out but once they're on they're on. Good buy.

I like the fact it had The Notches in it to grasp the mounting plates and bring them to where I needed them because this was an aftermarket topper.
