Awesome product, easy to set up, fun to use

I was skeptical about this product. I installed the app and all 4 plugs were set up and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. I connected them to our amazon echo app (also simple) and now we can control 4 sets of lights with voice controls. The great thing about this product is the flexibility. You can control single outlets individually (turn on desk lamp) or whole groups (turn on office lights). In our case, we have a dining room area that we use as a seating area for our kids. The only light in this whole space is a ceiling fan light and the switch is at the back of the room, so nobody ever turns it on. With this product, we were able to put several smaller lamps and up lighting throughout the space, then just turn them on with voice commands as we walk by. My wife is already planning out our Christmas lights and how to connect them all to these outlets so she can turn them all on with voice commands instead of walking from room to room plugging in extension cords. Great product, will buy again.

Would buy it again

Trust me, I’ve seen them all. I’ve been using these devices for a long time. Installed dozens of them and this one is a keeper. Very very easy to install, and fast response to the commands, and a fair price. It says 15A, which is a good current for these devices. Lest see if it passes the time test. For now, 5 stars. Would definitely buy it again.

Best Wifi/Alexa outlets so far.

Have 3 different brands already, and tried 4 brands before I got these. They ALL... work. However I must say that these "set up" easier, quicker, and more problem free than everything I've tried before. All 4 were up, complete and running in under 5 minutes. I've spent longer on that PER outlet and had to start over several times with others. Have not had these very long to vouch for longevity, but they work, and they 'set up' like a dream.

MUCH better than WeM* switches

Unlike the dominant Brand A switches, these simply work! And work well! Setup takes just a few minutes and none of the dreaded "Device Not Detected" by the other brand (not sure if its Bel*** software or hardware but countless hours have been spent with all their devices setting them up and starting over again a few months later), Thanks Meross for a great product and stable software!

Unless Apple HomeKit functionality is a must, look no further.

Wonderful and inexpensive smart home accessorie! After originally seeing this item on an Amazon Lightning deal, I read further reviews and discovered people really love these smart plugs. Let me boil this down for those who are in a hurry. Good: - Cost: inexpensive relative to similar products. - Size: the overall plug profile is fairly small and doesn’t overlap as much as other plugs. - Meross App: Great iOS app with a easy user interface. You are able to set auto on/off schedules and create smart home scenes. - Alexa Echo Integration: anything the Meross app can do, Alexa can take care of. The only “issues” I’ve encountered are standard issues which come from any personal assistant. Between Alexa and the App, the possibilities are endless. The Bad: - The setup: the setup could be easier. It’s not the most cumbersome, but it wasn’t very intuitive and I had to refer back to the directions more than once. However, after the initial setup, even after moving the plug, the settings remained. - The size: while the size is a plus, it also is a minus too. The overall width is wide enough to overlap the plug on either side of the unit. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them all and then you have the facts of... this plug.

Great value, easy to set-up and use, app does not seem invasive or bloated

I spent HOURS researching smart plugs before settling on these (my first "smart" things besides Echo and Fire Stick TV). They were very reasonably priced, but more important were extremely easy to set up and use. I definitely plan to buy more. You just download the Meross app and plug one in. The app is very intuitive. You can give the plug a name and even an icon. Just finish set up, then repeat for multiple plugs (if you set up multiple, the name of the first still appears as default, so just delete that and enter a new name; this threw me off a bit the first time). After setting them up, I opened Alexa and found the associated skill for these very easily. Now I can use either the Meross app or Alexa (phone or voice) to turn these on or off. They appear to be solidly made and don't get warm even when plugged in and on. There is a small light on the side when they are on, but this is easily covered with a small bit of electrical tape if you want one in your bedroom. I also love how they work with Alexa routines. Now I can just tell Alexa it is time for bed, and she shuts off the plug for my TV and turns on the ones in my bedroom for my fan and bedside light. If you plug your TV into one of these and leave the TV on, you can use Alexa to turn the plug (and thus the TV) on or off. Previously, I had to physically turn on the TV before I could use Alexa and Fire Stick to voice control. Now I can tell Alexa to turn on the TV plug and keep speaking to launch programs via Fire Stick.

So easy - I had my house programmed in less than 15 minutes.

I wanted to program my lights in my house with my echo device plus be able to turn lights off and on from anywhere as I leave my dogs alone often it gets dark before I get home and need to turn lights on for them and/or the TV to keep them company. These do the trick! Its so easy - I am a grandmother and I read the instructions, downloaded the app and had it all working in about 15 minutes. you get a 4-pack of single or double plugs - since I use all lamps on tables and TV that plugs into wall this is what I needed. I can be 100 miles away and turn on the lamp table and kitchen light for my dogs when it gets dark from my phone and going to bed I just tell Alexa to turn out the lights.

Best smart plugs I've used

Very good app. I have a bunch of plugs that use the Smart Life app, and these plugs are far superior. The app is much more customizable. You can have custom timers and scenes that actually work, that set the device to turn off after being on for so long. Also the widget is fully customizable, whereas the other app decided to completely remove widget functionality from iOS for some reason. Highly recommend these if you are looking for smart plugs. The only downside I've found is that I'm not sure there is a way to interface with IFTTT yet. Works fine with Alexa.

Good app with schedules, wifi is working at the far side of my house, pairs with Google Home.

I bought 4 of these, they are working well with Google Home voice control, they have been working reliably at the furthest point from my wifi router. The Meross app seems more professional than some other smart home apps I have to use, not filled with spelling errors and the smart plugs successfully ran through a firmware upgrade upon joining without incident. App also supports routines and can be set to "Sunset" and "Sunrise" instead of time
