I researched menstrual cups for a while before finally deciding to go with the Saalt cup. I read tons of reviews and watched you tube videos of people who tried various brands to get a sense of the good, bad and ugly of the cup, and each of the most popular brands. Then I chose Saalt, because it had a very soft and flexible stem, the large cup was larger than many brands which I needed for my heavy days, the blue/red color was pretty to avoid obvious staining early, and i could save money and frustration from tampons. Now that I have finally tried it, i am so happy i did. The cup is super comfortable oncer you get the hang of putting it in and taking it out of your body. My first time, I wasn't sure that the cup fully opened inside, and so kept taking it back out and starting all over. But after a couple of times, I finally just had to trust. For the first couple of hours, I kept checking my underwear for leaks but there were none. Then, I totally forgot about it and I was good for the entire night!!! No leaks, no discomfort. Didn't even feel it. The next morning, I struggled a little to pull the cup out because I didn't want to spill. They recommend doing this in the shower your first time and I took their advice. I did finally get it out, cleaned it out and put it back in. Again, triple checking for leaks but again all good. So excited. This really relieves the hassle of needing to remember to pack tampons everywhere I go, or discreetly taking a tampon with me to the bathroom at the office (which I always forget). I do still wear a panty liner just in case, but so far so good. One pro-tip: you might want to cut your fingernails the first time you do this until you get the hang of it. Just saying.

I am in love with this cup. My first cycle with this cup and I have found my goldilocks cup finally! It is unbelievably comfortable. I have a high tilted cervix, heavy flow, have had a baby, and can do Yoga with these! Not just Yoga though, run, basic crunches, hike and climb- anything! I don't even feel it there and the stem is SO soft for those who HATE stems- I tell you, this is non-existant. It stays in place well and seems to have the perfect firmness- yet, softness for comfort. 5 stars are simply not enough! What I wouldn't give to have these exist when I was in high school! Please, Saalt, NEVER GO OUT OF BUSINESS! I will have my daughter get these the day of her First Moon! ♡♡♡

I'm a newbie to menstrual cups. I so wish I discovered them sooner! I had such a good experience, that I'm planning on buying them as gifts for my friends. Just for reference, I'm 35 years old and gave birth vaginally twice. I'm very active and I workout 5 times a week, I go hiking and do many outdoor activities. I wanted to reduce waste and wanted something that was vegan, non BPA and toxins free and also healthier for my body. I did my research, watched many reviews, did alot of comparisons and narrowed it down to the SAALT active pack combo. I wasn't sure what size cup I would need, so the combo pack was a better option for me. I choose to use the regular sized cup on my first use, I wasn't sure if I would have a heavy flow (i'm on Nexplanon) and where my cervix was exactly located. Before and after use, boil cup for 5 mins. Let's jump into it! ** Insertion was easier for me in the shower. I did the punch down fold and got it on the first try. I tugged the stem to see if it created a vacuum seal and to my surprise it did. NO LEAKS! Idk if it's just me but, after the insertion it felt like the cup was self-adjusting itself at the bottom of my vaginal canal, making its way upwards towards my cervix. After an hour or so it went further in to where it supposed to be. I found that cool and awesome! Now, the peeing part. Again, idk if its just me, but I had to wait about an hour or so to actually pee. I sat on the toilet for a while, getting on and off with nothing coming out. As a first timer, I was getting worried and scared and almost took it out. After time passed and I calmed down and relaxed, pee started to flow out. I felt that, that was an issue due to the firmness of the cup. I was able to exercise, do what I normally do on a daily basis and actually forgot that I had it in. Emptying it out every 12 hours is so much more convenient if you have a busy life style. Taking it Out** I discovered that my cervix is really high, this part was a bit challenging for me. Thank goodness for the stem. I was able to locate it, use my vaginal muscles to push it down. Get a grip on the base of the cup with my thumb and middle finger to press it inwards, to release the vacuum seal and then pull it downwards and outward (hope that makes sense.) I'm surprised it took me less than 5 minutes to do this, being that it was my first time. When emptying my cup, I do use the SAALT cup wash before re-inserting. It has a really nice orange cream scent. A little goes a long way. After researching, I found it's best to rinse your cup with cold water, then warm water to prevent staining on your cup. **Overall I would highly recommend this menstrual cup!! This was everything I was looking for in a cup. Having a high cervix makes me work a little bit harder while taking it out, but it wasn't that much of a big deal for me. I hope my review will help other first timers!

I am so excited to write this review! After careful research I set my heart on ordering the Saalt cups for my first menstrual cup purchase. & I am so glad I did! I LOVE IT! It’s very comfortable to sleep with overnight, comfortable throughout the day, comfortable while exercising too!! My research consisted of 10+ hours of watching YouTube video reviews, reading articles & taking an online quiz! There are 40+ brands out there so it’s important to do your research before settling on one. For example menstrual cups come in all different shapes & sizes! Short, long, 20 ml, 30ml, cone shaped vs. bell shaped, soft vs. firm. They come in various “stem” lengths too! I learned all of these factors should be taken into consideration! Why I chose the Saalt cups: - They are cone shaped!! I chose the cone shape because other reviewers have mentioned that the round bell shape impedes them from peeing, the theory is the round bell shape is more likely to push on your bladder. - They are mid size in length!! As compared to the longer Diva cup the Saalt cup falls in the mid range of length. Other reviewers have mentioned needing to clip the stem of the Diva cup. The long cup + stem can cause discomfort if it protrudes out of your vaginal canal. - I chose firm!! I steered away from any “soft” cups. Other reviewers mentioned the softer cups can be pushed out while using the bathroom, like while going #1 or #2! How horrendous would it be to have to fish your menstrual cup out of the toilet? - Saalt sells both the small & medium cup in one box! For use on my heavy & light days - Cute packaging - Cute protective baggies for travel Need I say more? :)

These cups are awesome. Empower yourself and stop spending money every month on more paper products that just create more trash. Stop buying paper products, use this cup, and use that extra cash each year to renew your prime membership. This cup is easy to use and just takes a little practice to get right. It’s easy to insert and it’s easy to take it out while sitting on the toilet for mess free emptying. I found I don’t need to empty it in the middle of the day at public restrooms so rinsing isn’t an issue for me, but honestly it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone, stop judging other people, periods are natural - get over it. I’m extra stoked on the fact that it’s silicone and I’m not leaching bad chemicals into my body from the average tampon. Side note, I tried using this while I had an IUD that caused me to have cramps worse than usual and because the cup does sit near the cervix it caused me to have extra bad cramping with the IUD. However, I had the IUD removed and the cup no longer causes any cramping, yay! I extra love this set because it comes with a small cup and large cup so depending on your flow or anatomy, both cups should be able to take care of you. It also comes with adorable, discrete, little storage bags for each one.

Worked better for me than the Lena cup right out of the bag. I loved my lena cup, I just could never get it to suction correctly. After 2years of leakage I decided to try this. Worked well for the first time, hopefully it will continue to work for me.

So if you’re reading this, about this product, I’m going to assume you are ok with a bit TMI!! I had a couple friends swear by these a few years ago. I still didn’t listen. One was doing it to save the planet, and I never really asked my other friend many questions about it. My hesitation was primarily because I’m overweight, and it seemed kinda gross. So with the corona virus pandemic, I saw pads becoming hard to find (people using in place if they toilet paper they couldn’t find) and I also didn’t want to have to go to the store every month for tampons. I thought...well how’s a good time to try it. Ok here’s some TMI review from a fat girl! Insertion was a learning curve. The first day my “girl” wasn’t happy, tender from different and various techniques. After day one, I had figured it out and wasn’t a problem. It was very comfortable once placed, can’t feel it at all. Removal; don’t pull the tail...ouch. Squeeze the bottom of the cup to break seal. As it gets more full it starts to sit lower and makes removal easier, if it’s a light flow day, I found “bearing down” pushes it down slightly making it easier to grab than “fishing around” for. Now...Emptying it is like day 1, it’s a learning curve. I’ve had a couple of those gross moments that kept me from trying all those years. I’ve gotten better. You need a private bathroom with a sink near the toilet, just saying. Fortunately these stay in all day so I’m not concerned going out all day and having to empty in a public bathroom...that would be terrible imo (empty b4 you leave home!) So in closing...you should totally get this, very comfy, very convenient (no more getting up middle of night to change a tampon so I don’t get toxic shock and die), I can go all day (very heavy day I will change 3 (8-10 hours ish) times a day. Other days 2 times each day (every 12 hours) And a bonus perk is not having the extra waste for the planet!

As a first time cup user, I searched around to find the perfect cup for me. And it wasn’t until I found Saalt, that I found the “one”. I’ve been using my cup for 3 months now and wanted to give it some time before writing a detailed review. Personally I found that the stem was uncomfortable to me so I trimmed it off. It doesn’t make it any less difficult to take out. I use the small for my lighter days, and the regular for my heaviest days. My trusty companion has traveled with me on planes (I did not feel comfortable enough to wear it and just wore a tampon on the plane) since I read going security can be a little iffy on these cups. But besides that, I’ve been able to swim, exercise, and sleep in this with no issues. I also recommend getting a menstrual cup safe wash, and a cup steamer. They have been great for keeping my cup sanitary and clean between uses. Besides the stem, I have no complaints about it. And I’m happy to say, I’ll continue to use my cup instead of other products.

The cups came promptly on-time, and the packaging is so chic and professional. I also love that it comes in a sustainable container, along with info about the ethical and truly fabulous company and all the good it does for women's health around the world! One of the reasons I decided to try a cup is because for some reason tampons always made my cramps so much worse, and when my periods are heavy I don't appreciate worsening any of that. I stopped using tampons years ago because of it, but I'm so sick of the walking-around-in-a-wet-diaper-feeling that pads give, esp if you have a heavy flow and work long shifts where bathroom breaks are infrequent (nurse). Here is the real TMI info so if you're squeamish, scroll on! I had a hard time with the diva cup which I bought from a pharmacy nearby. All of my issues have been resolved with the saalt cup! Different size cups make it easy to accommodate and choose what is most comfortable for different cervical positions, width of vaginal canals, and heaviness of flow. I had issues with the stem of the diva cup too, I felt it protruding out all day. I also especially like that the cups themselves are not long, which I think contributes to less of a "full feeling". For this reason I think it was also easier for me to empty my bladder more fully and go poop. No leakage, no spills, no pain, barely notice it's in. Spent the whole day at the beach and didn't even think about having it in. Lastly, I have super sensitive skin on my face, and the rest of my body. I had ZERO irritation. I couldn't recommend this company and the products enough! LIVING MY BEST LIFE WITH SAALT. I LOVE MY SAALT CUPS.

I was very hesitant on trying menstrual cups but I was getting my period for an upcoming beach trip and decided to give them a try. I tried this brand due to the amazing reviews. I don’t think I will ever go back to tampons!! A little tricky to figure out how to insert and remove but after a couple tries you figure out which method works for you and it’s easy. I can’t feel it when it’s in. So great for running and swimming!! No more worrying about the string coming out in a swimsuit or having to change your tampon immediately after you get out of the water. I recommend trying the small cup first till you get the hang of it. I highly recommend switching to these cups. Your life will be so much easier. It’s like not having a period!! Peeing is also super easy in these too and don’t have to waste so many tampons either.
