Great supplement to take before morning workouts. I did a solid hour of cardio and still had energy afterward. One warning, it is SUPER bitter. I wound up putting it in capsuls.

Maca to the rescue

As I sit here feeling a minor hot flash come on, I can only regret that I missed a week of taken my Anthony's Raw Red Maca.. I was out of town for a week, and had the stomach flu.. so it's not like I didn't have an excuse. But the hot flashes know no mercy. Before I began taking Maca, I was having them continously ALL day, plus night sweats. Grinding of teeth in the night. Unable to drag out of bed in the morning. Feelings of emotional desperation. Which only triggered more hot flashes! Having to make sure my hoodies had zippers! So I could rip them off at a moment's notice, then easily put it back on to ward off the cold of late winter/spring. Then came Maca. And with dedicated doses of about a TBS every day for weeks, all of it went away! I sprang out of bed in the morning. Stopped thinking of getting a night guard. Stopped worrying how I would retain sanity when summer came and I would be continuously drenched in sweat. Stopped feeling desperate to avoid the stress of dealing with my kids because even small moments of strong emotion caused the most horrible hot flashes to come on.. Thank you dear Father in Heaven, for creating Maca.

Love black maca for brain function.

This bag was filled to the brim when it arrived. Very good portion size for the price. I’m happy with the raw, it’s true what they say tho you have to take it with food or you risk a little stomach upset. I put mine in my smoothies every morning so I don’t have any issues. I would buy this product again. The only recommendation I would make is to make the packaging bigger. When I opened the bag and used it the first time there was so much product I couldn’t seal the bag closed again. (The picture I took of the inside of the bag with product is after I’ve used it for some time, not brand new-to avoid confusion)

I purchased black maca root powder based on literature and articles that it is more potent. So far it have used it for a few weeks. It tastes good, blends well in smoothies and seems to be as good as the red or brown version.

I read that this stuff is good for morning energy, low libido, and leveling hormones. The first few times I used this I put it in smoothies/banana ice-cream and it tasted awful. (I think I used too much). Now I use a teaspoon or less and it's barely noticeable...

Love this product! Ladies if you want a quick face lift ( one to two weeks of use) use this with 1 teaspoon of camu camu powder, 3/4 cup of juice, one to two lemons, 1 teaspoon of MSM powder, blend together. Take at least once a day I sometimes take two times a day. You will be amazed at the results. This will greatly diminish eye bags, puffy eyes, droopy jowls, and give you a beautiful glowing complexion. Save your money on Botox. I tried it. It has nothing on this. This came through much prayer. God is good. I no longer have complex. Even when I am sleepy don't look as haggard as before. I woke up looked at husband he said you don't look sleepy. At 53 this is truly a blessing. I'm out need more. The only thing I don't care for is if I stop taking this the eye bags may creep back. Once you resume they will flatten out again.
