Very durable quality

Xmas present. My daughter was in a chess event at school so had to get her a chess set. This one looks very durable. It even comes with red felt stickers for the bottom of the pieces. I thought that a nice touch.

Great Value and quality

So I ordered this chess set to go in our froyo/cupcake store. We have a jumbo-sized chess/checker concrete board and I needed the chess pieces. I really did not need the chess board but it came as a package. The plastic chess pieces are black and off-white in color. They are hollow and very lightweight and because many of our customers are kiddos, they are perfect. These work great for what we need. The chess board is very good quality and we use it at some point. Our customers love playing checkers and chess in our store and these jumbo-sized pieces really are fun for our customers to play with.

Very Sturdy Chess Set

Loved the size of this. Perfect for young kids to sit on the floor and play.

Great buy

Ordered it as a surprise. Once I opened it up and showed a 8 yrs old how jumbo this game was he was super excited to play. The game comes with a nice board to play on that folds up. Seems pretty durable. We often take it to our back yard and play with it by our camp fire we have down by our creek. Super handy it’s rugged enough to play out side and with the jumbo pieces they won’t get lost in the grass. We make it back with all the parts every time. Really helps not loosing anything outdoors. The actually game pieces them self are a little light weight but I guess it’s fair for the price. I been thinking of adding something to them to make them a little heavier. Over all kids find this game fun to play. When we invite other families over and all the adults are busy seems to stay pretty active with kids taking turns.

use something to hold corners down if it gets real windy by you

I liked the size of pieces and bright colors on the mat which is pretty sturdy what I do wish it came with a small book beginner chess
