It's a good product. Kind of expensive. But it works great. One reviewer said needles did not fit. they are tight I had to push them in with pliers. I Used it to sew my backpack straps. I am happy with the product.

Great for bounce house repairs!

I used this awl to repair a large hole in a commercial grade bounce house. The awl worked great and is easy to use. You definitely need to tighten the nut using a wrench after inserting the needle on the awl but once I did that, it was easy to use.

I bought this to repair some canvas - simple to use and great quality. This set is light enough to take backpacking for unexpected repairs as well.

I’ve used this for sewing leather chairs back together, shoes, purses, and even a saddle. This seriously is one of my most valueble tool and has allowed us to take in a number of high end jobs we otherwise couldn’t have done

Bought one of these 20 years ago at an army surplus store. Loaned it to a friend and forgot about it until I needed one.My leather swing arm bag on my Harley started to come apart and my friend lost the loaner so I got another.These things are simple and easy to use directions are pretty straight forward follow them and you'll do fine.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. He liked the way it has storage inside the handle, so needles won't get lost.. (Only 1, not all 3, spools of thread will fit inside, though.) Said it would also be good to take on his outdoor trips.

dos everything I need then some if your looking to hand sew up leather saddles and other tough material this is the tool for you.comes with about 5 basic thick leather needles for strongest seams use commercial sewing string one thread holds about 5 and a half lbs makes some really strong nice seams if sewn rite..
