Doubles as a nightlight and cat toy.
I must have missed this. I plugged it in during the day. Later, when I went to bed, i rolled over and shot straight up. I thought something happened. Intruder? No. Fire? No. ET? No. It was the dang light. This would work for someone that is “too old” for a night light but doesn’t want to admit it. Oh, if you have a cat, your night will even be more fun. The five stars for this product are really from the cat. I shoved the darn thing under the bed and the cat attacked it knocking everything attached to it down.

Quality item, and well made!
Quality item!! Very nice thick sturdy cord, rotating outlets to keep out dust & debris. We ran this behind our sofa over to the wall plug and slid it up under the edge. We needed the length, but not quite as many outlets. We can pull it out and turn on when needed. Switch lights up when on and is off when power is off. Definitely a must have item with a couple of teens around and they always need a charger!! One glance is all you need to be sure it is off and not using electricity.

The flat plug and long cord make this a perfect solution to reaching an outlet
I recently bought a bakers rack to go right outside my tiny kitchen, and by moving my microwave and Keurig to it, I freed up some much needed counter space. But there's no outlet on that side of the narrow wall it's against, and while I could snake the rather short microwave cord back around to the kitchen outlet, my similarly short cord on the Keurig had nowhere to go. So I figured another power strip was in order. I didn't much care about surge protection, but this one caught my eye because the plug is flat, meaning I could plug it in behind the nearby loveseat and not risk crushing it against the wall. The 10 foot cord was actually a bit more than I needed, and I knew that going in, but it means I was able to place it almost completely out of sight and have some cord length to spare. It's pretty heavy duty and seems better made than the other power strips I've been using for years in different rooms. Exactly what I needed, and at a great price.

Finally!
Having a surge protector with a 10-foot cord may not seem like a big deal, but it is. I'd never been able to find one with a cord longer than 3 feet! I live in an old house that doesn't have a lot of outlets; the "box" has been updated so the house can handle the demand on the electricity, but that didn't give me more outlets. This allows me to plug in as many lights, and devices that I need without having to arrange my furniture so that everything is close to an outlet. Never seen one before - until I looked on Amazon!

Works great, nice with good capacity and saved us money.
This surge protector is white with a 10-foot white cord which blends into the color of the baseboard in the room in which it is used. It is just what we needed to plug into a wall outlet and reach the table in one of the client offices. It is a rather small size but has 6 outlets. The on/off switch is blue lit and it’s bright enough to act as a night light underneath the table. Customer loves the blue LED light. It works very well for the client and well worth the price. I would buy this item again even for myself at home.

Have 3 of the 10' and have been very happy with them.
I have purchased 3 of these over the course of the last 3 months (10'). The home that we moved into did not offer much in the way of lighting. We needed a number of lamps to brighten the place up and several are linked to a specific outlet for the light switch. The longer cord was a necessity for us and got everything plugged in where it needed to be. Power strip has a small blue light near the switch to indicate it is on. We tucked it under our nightstand in the bedroom just in case to minimize any overnight glow. Outlet covers spin which can be convenient if needed. Overall I am happy with it and would not hesitate to pick up another if needed.

more child friendly than most
When you plug something into this strip, there is a positive click that seems to lock plugs in so they don't easily partially slide out like with most other power strips I've used. The light is bright, but I used electrical tape to black it out. The cord is flatter than most and adequately flexible. It's higher quality than I expected. Given the current discount price, I'm buying another.

Basic Surge Protector if You Only Need to Plug in 3-4 Cords
I like the cord length, on/off switch and protection indicator light, all of which make this a good choice for equipment you don't want to have to replace in the event of a damaging power surge. I DON'T like the direction of the plugs and how closely they are placed, because they won't permit fat plugs like rechargers (phone, tablet, etc.) to be placed next to each other. Those require you to give up the use of one or more of the nearest plugs. When you have several things to plug in to the same energy source, but that wouldn't be in use at the same time, (so you would never be overloading the power strip) this is not the best outlet strip for you. More spacing between plugs and rotating plug-in direction 90 degrees would be better.

Had to buy another after my bird chewed the cord
This power strip is great, worked perfectly until my bird chewed the plastic off part of the cord, making it unsafe to use (and thankfully she didn’t hurt herself). So I’m on my second power strip of the same type and will keep a much closer eye on her when she’s hanging out by the cord! I love how the outlet covers rotate so nothing can get inside them (ideal in my bird room to keep out feather dust or food debris). The blue light is also handy as a night light so the birds don’t freak out as easily if they’re startled in the dark. Overall great power strip, hope this one lasts longer than the first!

Buy!
I first measured out how long I needed the cord to be so that I wouldn't have extra cord laying around. Then I use my wire-staple-gun to secure the cord to the wall neatly. And last I use double-sided-sticky-Velcro and I placed it on the back of the power adapter so that it would hold in place on the wall. Came out very clean!
