Most if not all your phones will have a USB charge cord for car or other so it helps to prepare for this. - This charge port will fit on your own made-up plate or will replace a rocker style switch in the plate. I was changing the switches in the RV over and part of the upgrade was to add a set of these charge ports. They fit in the plate next to the other switches, connects to 12vdc and supplies the low voltage to your device through the USB port. Good looking port, has a cover to keep dust out, an attractive answer to adding a USB port to a vehicle. Perfect fit for Polaris products

Works great. Not as fast as "fast" wall charger, but not slow like normal cig plug chargers. Great product. Great fit for Polaris products.

Snap-in dust cover is worthwhile

Works great and USB ports stay clean with snap-in dust cover. This charger is installed inside the center console armrest of a 1966 Mustang so the dust cover is worthwhile.
