Didn't want to buy

I have to admit, I fought buying this, but December was suddenly very close and I couldn't find an advent calendar I wanted. I was wanted to fill one up myself. Out of desperation, I bought this one. I thought for $12 it would be adequate. I underestimated it's value. My kid has been enjoying it so much. Every morning she runs down and opens up the next number and pulls out a little surprise. She uses the provided backdrop and plays with it until I force her away to get ready for school. So in other words, it really did surpass my expectations and will be hard to follow up on next Christmas.

This made my life easier

This was the first year I did a store bought advent calendar instead of doing a DIY version that I fill with candy or activities. This wasn't as special as those other ones, but it was far simpler. I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old who are both crazy about the colleggtibles so this was a huge hit with them. I was actually surprised by how many Hatchimals it came with (only one with an egg though and that was #24). On days without Hatchimals, expect to get things like Hatchimal nests or little accessories like bows and present boxes. There were cardboard decorations like a Christmas tree, snowman, fireplace, etc that you punch out and then decorate with stickers. Younger kids need help putting those together and they do fall apart pretty easily. The winter scene at the bottom has things like paper trees that you pull up. Also, the Hatchimals are wintery looking, so they are different than the regular ones. I bought this on sale just before December and it was worth every penny.

AWESOME TOY! A TOTAL HIT!

My daughter LOVES her Hatchimals! There are three things every little girl seems to love: - toys with many pieces - small adorable animals - being able to hatch your own critter Hatchimals are pure genius. She has them next to her whether she's playing or doing her homework. She absolutely loves her Hatchimals! Putting them in an Advents Calendar was a no brainer. Of course she loved it! :)

Fabulous advent calendar!

Our 'Elf' brought this to our kiddos (3y, 6y, 8y) to help them track the days until Christmas, and they went WILD over this! The pull down flap has trees that pop up and the cardboard on each day is so easy for them to open! I got this as a daily deal and was super happy with the price and value! The hatchimals do not come in an egg (Besides the one on the 24th) they are surprised each day with a hatchimal, accessories, nests, bows, sleds ect. and LOVED every day opening up a new surprise! I will definitely be considering this again for next year!

A Must-Have For Hatchimals Loving Kids

My daughter loves the holiday season, particularly the countdown to Christmas! In past years we have used a variety of different Advent calendars. This year we decided to combine two of her favorite things - the countdown to Christmas and Hatchimals! When I first saw this Advent calendar, I knew it would be coming home with us! My six-year-old is obsessed with Hatchimals, and she will be especially impressed that this set includes accessories and a play scene for her Hatchimals. The cover of this set opens to create a landscape for your Hatchimals, along with displaying the countdown doors. On the landscape, there are flaps that can be lifted up to add snowmen, trees, and a bridge to your scenes. Each of the numbered doors on the outside of the calendar corresponds to the day it should be opened. She will punch open the perforated #1 door on December 1st, and then the #24 door on Christmas Eve. The doors are not resealable, so this set isn't meant to be reused year after year. Throughout the month, she will open up doors that contain one of the following - five glittery nests, an assortment of stand up decorations (trees, snowmen, fireplace, and gifts) with stickers to decorate, little accessories for your Hatchimals (sleds, bow ties, and gifts for them to hold, seven regular Hatchimals, two twin bobble head Hatchimals, and one surprise Hatchimal inside a blue and snow-speckled egg. I am posting my review before she has had a chance to open it so that others may be able to make a decision about getting this before December 1st. But I will definitely update my review if we've got anything to add after she opens it! All of the pieces included seem to match the quality of our other well-loved Hatchimals, and I can't imagine anything happening that would change our opinion of this five-star review!

Excellent quality and value

My daughters are completely infatuated with Hatchimals and this advent calendar provides 10 characters, accessories, nests, and some "paper crafts". Everything included is shown on the back of the box, so the mystery is seeing which element is behind which door. The size of the "doors" is a bit of a give away as all five nests are behind identical big doors (not a complaint, just an observation), and the smallest doors always have accessories in them. Still, this was a huge hit with my kids and opening each day's door is right up there with finding their "elf on the shelf"

Only day 3 but my daughter is LOVING it

I bought this for my 6 year old and she was THRILLED. I did watch some of the YouTube videos that showed people unboxing them and of course they opened every day to show you what was inside. So....I knew exactly what to expect. The cool thing about this, is that they get pieces and characters that are exclusive to the calendar. You're not going to buy them anywhere else. The cost is very reasonable (or at least it was when I bought it for just under $20) because Hatchimals are not cheap and this sucker is loaded. Besides the thrill of getting a surprise every single day, my little girl is excited to get the accessories and the sparkly nests. So, I say go for it. If you haven't purchased it already, you can always play catch up.

Awesome variety

LOVED THIS! I got this during a flash sale before Christmas. All month long my daughter enjoyed opening the doors every morning. It had a surprising number of actual hatchimals in It! I think there ended up being 6 or 7 actual hatchimals (2 of which were bobble heads) and 4 nests!! Along with little presents and bows and a couple cute things we put together. Plus it unfolded into a winter scene to put everything on. After Christmas we through away the top part and she kept the winter wonderland scene to keep playing with. Alot of advent calanders are disappointing because they have mostly junk. This was NOT one of those. I was very very happy and so was my 6 year old. And now she also has quite a few "exclusive " hatchimals she cherishes!!

Perfect

These are great! We are on a restricted diet and I couldn’t find any advent calendars that my daughters could have. They loved these! It as the first thing they did in the morning to see what they got. I don’t know if they’re all the same or not but I bought two and they were exactly the same. You get a variety of toys for hatch I also in it. It’s not an egg everyday. I think it’s a great alternative to the chocolate calendars and a fun countdown to Christmas.
