This is the first product that my Bull Terrier loves! He's a very finicky senior bully with some sensitive areas around a repaired broken leg. He ususally runs the other way when the brush comes out. But not with this gentle groomer. Betty's Best makes his coat shiny with very easy strokes. The shape and flexibility make it easy to work around his injured area. A lot of hair gets removed while the diamonds massage his muscles. He actually wags his tail while I am grooming him. Worth every penny.

Wow! I used it on my cat and she didn't move! Took a ton of hair right off her! Then my dog whom normally shys from the brush... I had to stop because I had too much hair after 1 minute! Then it went out to the barn and I quickly brushed some mud off my horse's foot and also did his neck and face! Love it!!! Price was steep but it's easy to use, works great, easy to handle, easy to clean... yeah, I think it's a keeper!

Not only does this get the loose hair, it also pulls up ground in dirt. Once the hair has released it naturally sticks to the shedding tool but with a bop on the back of your shoe or boot, the hair falls right off. That's a big plus, no more digging clumps of hair off the shedding tool!

I wouldn't want this for the thick winter hair but i want this for the legs and when they look shed out but not. Get the remainder of hair out and get the dander out. End up with a shinny horse . Looks great for bath, effective and gentle too. Whisk away the dirty suds as you go......Love the gentleness of this product, my horse likes it too. Linda from Wisconsin

I have an older Labrador who has lots of skin tags under his thick fur. He normally yelps when a brush or a rake hits one of them. This product not only helped shed him out but it brought up the scurf that gets locked against the skin. He literally felts on his haunches. I used it today on him on one side. I had to ask him to get up! He loved it. No more shocking or having the hair stick to me from static electricity from using a furminator. Moose is one happy dog! I read one comment somewhere about needing to use strength to get the hair to fall out. If your animal is not ACTUALLY shedding out then the hair doesn't get ripped out. That is the key! My lab is shedding in clumps. My horse is not. The individual shedder determines how much hair will be removed. I will do a video of it and add it later today so it shows the difference. This is a sturdy lifetime purchase. Happy grooming to all!

I am updating my review of this grooming tool. I tried the it early in the season on some very hairy horses with disappointing results. I have since tried it again and I am finding that it really helps is a helpful tool. The strip edge works best with short strokes on a coat that’s ready to shed. I found that I can bring up more of the dirt and dander now too. I’d also like to mention that it works very well on the face to shed hair and bring up the dirt and dander, especially under the forelock area. The horses loved it too. I’d recommend playing with it for a while if you’re having trouble getting results. I’m glad I kept trying because I’m now getting results that are making this tool a keeper.

Liked this and so did my helper. So much so that I ordered a second for her on her birthday and she was very happy. I like that the ends are soft enough to bend and flex for legs. Requires some elbow grease but works better than other products I've tried. Bear in mind I'm in the desert and only 1 horse grew a winter coat but it worked great for him. I use it now for general grooming.

I found that the StripHair takes the same amount of elbow grease as a traditional curry comb or striping blade but my horse enjoyed it MUCH more. There was no flinching from the metal shedding blade. He enjoyed it so much he ended up falling asleep while I was working. The pile here took about 5 minutes of work.

Ordered this product to test it vs. it’s competition with a blade, and I will be ordering MORE of these! It really works great on both horses and dogs. We got a lot of hair off of our German Shorthaired Pointer, our Golden retriever, and the horses!

I was skeptical. I have tried a lot of different shedding tools, and this one is pricey. But my trainer wrote on FB that she had one and both she and the horses liked it, and I know how picky she is, so I decided to order one. I am delighted. The shedder is made of a dense rubber. It is very flexible, and hugs the contours of the horse's body. And boy does it shed out hair! I also liked the fact that the hair seemed to sort of "mat up", so it wasn't blowing in my face and getting all over me. My horse seemed to really enjoy it. I highly recommend.
