I used these clips at my wedding to display table numbers. I held three 5x7 pieces of cardstock in each clip and was pleased at how well they supported the weight.

We use the holders to identify dishes on buffet tables at our church The cards are of a very nice quality and both the cards and holders are tasteful. There have been many compliments. These place card holders are exactly what I needed for the wedding rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. They held table numbers. I strongly recommend trying out each one before setting up for any actual event. A place card simply slides between the front and back clasps, but three holders in the dozen I ordered needed a bit of nudging open on one side in order to hold the card stock with the table numbers. I did this with a small knife blade. The holders otherwise held the place cards firmly and worked very well! The seller sent the order very quickly; the service was very good!

Perfect solution

I used the holders to set up my collection of vintage cardboard and accordion tissue birthday decorations. They don't stand on their own anymore. These holders are small and unobtrusive.

I have used these handy and attractive cardholders as signage for each dish I am serving in my catering. People really like to know what everything is and what they are eating. They are discrete yet obvious. I usually bought them at a restaurant supply, but those stores have mostly disappeared. I was down to only 10 left, but now with this order, I have 22.
