Great cutting board! It’s sturdy, unlike the softer plastic boards from Bed Bath and Beyond. This is definitely of professional quality. I love that it comes in black, so it’s not an eyesore when it sits on my partly black granite countertop. I gave four stars for easy to clean only because it’s a bit heavy, which is expected with its sturdy structure. I’m a pretty small person, so that’s probably more on me than the product. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Better and safer than wood!

I've used plastic cutting boards for over 10 years and I'll never go back to wooden ones. The thicker the better so that the plastic can be cleaned with hot water and not warp. Excellent for chopping meat with a hatchet as the thick plastic will not crack or jump around!

Wish I'd purchased this years ago!

This cutting board replaces one of comparable size but 1/2 the thickness, which over time had warped and tended to spin when used - a disaster waiting to happen. The new board is sturdy and stable, and this makes preparing food not only much easier but far quicker to do. The board is also hefty/heavy enough that I can't imagine it warping without abuse. I could kick myself for waiting so long to buy it. A terrific product!

Thick and durable!

I purchased this for a bit of an unusual reason, not for the kitchen. We make custom leather goods out of our home and needed to cut and emboss 500 leather coasters. We used a 20 ton hydraulic shop press and needed a thick and sturdy cutting board underneath that could withstand the pressure of the 20 ton press plus a 25 lb metal plate on top of that. I'm happy to report that after 1000 stamps, the board is hardly impacted, just a few ring marks which is to be expected. We ordered a second one to have on hand, but I suspect it will be a while before we need it since the first has held up so well!

This is a great board. It really does deserve 6 stars. A product that is perfect and at a very good price. If somebody doesn't like this board it makes one wonder what they wanted or if they couldn't read the description. Update: I did manage to break it by chopping meat with a heavy razor sharp machete, but it was 5 degrees below zero. Overall, this board took hundreds of blows with the machete at a reasonable temperature. I immediately ordered another board.

Wild about this ...

I am Bonkers over this! I am allergic to nuts ... and turns out, my old bamboo cutting board ... I had been using wood oil to condition it that had nuts! So, I was always getting severe stomach cramps every time I'd make a pot of soup that had a lot of vegetables in it that I cut up on my board. FINALLY figured that out! So, decided I'd go with plastic this time, because wood boards hoard bacteria as well. I got this big ole boy and I AM WILD ABOUT IT! I love how it's white colored too, which seams so clean when using it. It's heavy, but not too awful heavy, and it fits in a regular-sized sink. LOVE IT!

This is PERFECT! We now have an end table that is ...

I wanted something to use as a table top for our dog's 24" X 18" kennel. This is PERFECT! We now have an end table that is also where Sophie sleeps. She is in there now with the door open. My guess is that there are others who would like to do this also. A second market may be pet supplies. Bought is so my husband would have a handy place for his coffee cup. We are thrilled. Thanks

Love the size and thickness

Bought this for my husband who likes to smoke meats, he wanted a non-wooden cutting board for when the meat was raw. He used it for the first time this weekend and loved it, it was big enough to hold the entire brisket without any overlap, and very sturdy. It was heavier than expected but good to know that it is a solid product. Cleaning it was a little bit difficult size-wise, does not exactly fit well in a standard kitchen sink and requires some creative and careful maneuvering. Otherwise cleaning it was very easy, very happy with this purchase.

An Ideal Chopping Board — Roomy, Easy on Knives, Quick to Clean

The item was packed well and shipped promptly. It's sturdy and spacious, and handsome in black. My knives are holding their edges well on this surface, and it is a breeze to clean. I love it. Even some of the Boos wooden boards have been splitting, so I wanted a proper non-wood cuttinf surface, and this meets my needs. I also like it's thickness which insures no wobbling. I highly recommend it...and the seller is nice, too, which is always a plus.

I am a professional chef and this cutting board is perfect for my prep work. What I love most about it is that once I get done I can throw it in the dishwasher to prevent cross contamination. Very nice weight. Once you stabilize it with a kitchen towel underneath it is a ROCK!!! Chop away!!!!
