If you have a 420cc motor on a big home made go kart you're going to want this. No 30 series or clutch but this one. This thing is a beast. Nothing else would move my kart but this one rips it up. Just make sure you have good motor mounts, this thing is torquey.

Install driver backwards. Great product.

This is actually an excellent product with poor instructions. The driver needs to be installed backwards which ok then it all works perfectly.

This clutch will engage at idle so be aware

Had to drill new holes but I made it work. I had to use my old hardware to mount it the tread pattern on the longer bolts wasn't the right size either. But I am happy with how it came out

Really nice strong transmission for my 420cc

It flexes a bit when giving it full power but seems to hold nice. Has all the little bolts and spacers to put it together, including a 40-41-420 chain sprocket. Really grabs well, holds 16 hp like its a walk in the park. i am running it with some 16" wheels and a 60t sprocket and its a nice speed for forest riding(torque monster), might go a bit bigger for more top speed. Really happy with this addition to the kart.

Better than other reviews made me believe

Other reviews scared me but I have had really good luck with this. The plate is incredibly thick, welds could be better. The drive goes on in reverse so shimming the secondary was a thing but not at all hard. Put kart on blocks and get everything lined up like any reasonable person would do and make adjustments. I have put approximately 15 miles on it and no sign of belt fatigue.

Fits 420cc 14hp harbor freight predator engine

Fits harbor freight 14hp predator engine. I though I had a similar problem listed in previous reviews where the bolt securing the main clutch link was too short and only catching a few threads. After I figured I had the clutch on backwards, both problems were corrected. Loads of torque, good speed. If this is for a go kart block the wheels and let the belt wear In a bit, because at idle the dang thing will take off on you.

Great savings and definitely would recommend

Got this for my Predator 420cc. Comes with everything needed, but did have to cut part of the mounting plate to fit around my exhaust. I have it mounting on Baja Warrior mini bike frame that’s been turned into a trike. It was strange that the driver had to be flipped. Hands down this matted to the 420 give you ridiculous power, my trike does wheelies every time you gun it!!
