Had issues with my first one adhering properly, but I emailed TechMatte and they were very helpful in sending me a replacement. This one worked much better. The frame is helpful but you do need to eyeball it a bit to get it perfect because the curved screen is very unforgiving. If it isn't perfectly centered, you'll get some little rainbowy stripe effects from the glass being slightly lifted from the surface of the screen. I didn't have too much difficulty though, and I really appreciate all the little extras they include to aid in installation. It does reduce touch sensitivity, but you can fix that by increasing sensitivity in the phone's advanced settings.

These screen protectors are PERFECT. i got the s9+ for my wife and I, and was worried that the glass wouldn't fit with the two different case types we chose, but i couldn't be happier, it fits like a missing puzzle piece and it's glue seals along all edges. I've cracked screens and screen protectors in the past, and I've read reviews of people saying that the glass is weak and cracks easy. Which is true, but cracking the main glass is just as easy. It's like a video game, you're basically purchasing an extra life, or an armor pack. If it breaks, it just saved your main screen. Plus this company offers a lifetime warranty! You won't regret your purchase... they guarantee it ^-^ I've looked through SO many of the glass protectors on amazon and these had the highest % of verified purchases. I don't trust sellers without the "verified purchase" icon above the reviews. Would definitely buy again and again... but they offer a lifetime warranty so i don't think I'll have to xD Anyways, this is a great, quality product. I bought this for my S9 Plus very easy to install with the guide and there are no air bubbles to speak of I would buy this again. For those reporting a screen sensativity issue in the corners, you will have this issue with all glass screen protectors unless you increase the touch screen sensativity - there is a feature in the settings for this

Tough stuff

I fell hiking with my new phone in my hand. Luckily, I had this screen protector on it. It landed screen side down on two rocks. I saw the damage and winced. I just knew the rocks had damaged my screen beneath the protector. I was wrong! The screen was in perfect condition underneath the shattered screen protector. I am very happy with this product and promptly ordered a replacement.

Best Screen Protector I've bought

When my wife and I bought our Samsung S9 and S9+ we were sold Gadget Guard's Black Ice Liquid Screen protection. They said it was the best and on, and on. Well, our 4 year old son simply dropped the phone from about 2.5' onto crushed granite on a trail and the screen shattered all over the place. We called Gadget Guard and they did not want to honor their protection guarantee. Instead of wasting energy fighting them, I decided to write the the ordeal to experience and go with a real screen protector. Seriously, I think the liquid protection is truly a gimick along the lines of selling the emperor new clothes. I've had tempered glass on our kids' ipads so we decided to go with what we knew worked. This product is better than any other we've used for the following reasons: 1) Came with an installation frame that takes the guess work out of positioning the screen. You simply do the wet wipe, dry wipe snap on the frame and the protector just falls in place PERFECTLY. I installed 2 and had no experience with this product and it worked out flawlessly both times, again, thanks to having the frame. 2) The tempered glass is very well designed. It supports our Speck cases perfectly without any need for adjustments. This was true for both the S9 as well as the S9+. 3) Device use was good. We didn't have to adjust the sensitivity at all on the digitizer. The only slight down side...the screen is a bit glossy...BUT, it's not really an issue if the brightness is at the right level. It can be an issue if you turn the brightness down. However, I didn't find that it bothered me after the initial observation. PROS: 1) Case Friendly 2) Real Protection 3) Perfect Fit 4) Super Easy Install - Frame 5) No degradation in Use Cons - none really.

Great product, installation, instructions, and fit. Time will tell on endurance...

So far, so good. I just installed this glass immediately before installing another product (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CP6PT23/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on two different S9+ phones. The products were nearly identical, the kits nearly identical, and procedure. Took 5 minutes each, just be careful and follow the instructions carefully and you have a lovely perfectly clear screen protector. I will update this review if things turn for the worse, but it's awesome on day one! Differences: -- I like the TechMatte product the best, because it is slightly different in design than the OTAO. The TechMatte has a physical notch for the front camera, and a physical opening for two other apertures (not sure which). The OTAO covers them all with glass, which may not be optimal. --On the other hand, the TechMatte was pretty sensitive on the touchscreen, but still noticeably degraded. I had to set the "increased sensitivity" setting, and then it was perfect. The OTAO seemed to work fine without increasing the sensitivity. Note in the attached photo you can see the subtle difference in glass design, the TechMatte is on the right, OTAO on the left.

Has been my go to brand for years now! Nothing has changed

This was out of stock and was getting my phone, I tried another screen protector. What a joke, I don't know why I even bothered. That "case friendly" screen protector (henceforth referred to as "SP") fit on none of my 3 cases. Returned that and bought a wet application SP, was ok, but not the beefy protection these tempered glass ones offer. Went with my trusted brand and have not looked back! There is a reason wife and I use only these now and I've gotten a few friends hooked on their products. Simply awesome products at reasonable prices. Sure there are cheaper, but they are just that... Cheap! I still have to see if this will work with my "defender-like" case, but on my daily case it is perfect. There is a tiny gap on top and bottom, but sides couldn't be much closer! Touch sensitivity is still good, but I bumped it up a tad with the setting and it is crazy. Looks like nothing is on the phone, feels like it as well! Now my crazy expensive phone is "daughter-proof" as I call it.

So good I bought two...

Within 17 minutes of me applying this to my s9 plus (which could not be easier, btw) I dropped my very new and very expensive phone. The phone landed on it's edge striking the track of a sliding glass door. The screen protector did exactly what it was designed to do, it broke. And in doing so, it absorbed the impact and prevented any damages to the screen itself. And then I reordered this very same screen protector approximately 20 minutes of having received the first one! Fit is great. Works well with the minimalist case that I use. I increased screen sensitivity as suggested and everything works just as it should.

Very easy to install

Screen protector was very easy to install, no air bubbles at all. word of advice, on the s9+ make sure the screen touch sensitivity is changed in settings to increased sensitivity or you will be pushing things very hard. The company sent out a email after I purchased to make me aware of this.

Fantastic purchase!!

This is a great tempered glass screen protector. Does not pop off my phone and no air bubbles are created by my case (I'm using a Samsung brand case). I increased the sensitivity of my screen (as recommended) and there are no sensitivity issues. It feels like I don't even have a screen protector on the phone. Yes there is (minor) dot matrix, but not often noticable. I play a lot of games on my phone and I am picky about the way my screen looks and this does not bother me. I used a Zagg protector for my s7 edge and it worked great, but the bad reviews kept from buying for my s9+. I tried the whitestone dome glass - twice. Even with the case the company recommended, I still got air bubbles days after application. I was skeptical trying this screen protector because the price was lower. I am so glad I tried this - very happy customer!
