We purchased the teal and red double hammock. Originally we were considering an "eno," but after seeing the price difference and the awesome reviews and customer question responses we decided to give "legit camping" a try. I am so happy we did. We mostly used it to sit by our campfire and one backpacking night we even slept in it together. Combined as a couple, we're probably 360 lbs. and the hammock held up fine. SUPER easy to assemble/hang up. Easy to pack back up too. Extremely satisfied!

Great for sleeping

My brother bought this hammock and really likes it! He let me use it yesterday for my camping adventure, and I realized how perfect it really is! Super comfy and light. Very easy to put up, and wide enough I was able to have a sleeping bag, 2 blankets and my pillow in it. I had room to actually roll around a little; I laid on my back and side very comfortably. I would purchase this item again and from this seller. The hammock arrive on time and in great condition!

Go camping? This is a must-have!!!!

This is the best hammock we've ever had! I purchase through Amazon back in April and I spent more time in the hammock that I did any outdoor seating last summer. We are fortunate to have many trees in our yard so I could easily move it to where I want to position myself. This hammock is a breeze to set up even my 10 year old was capable of setting it up on his own. We do quite a bit of camping in the summer and we took this hammock with us on every trip. We were the hit of our "loops" with this hammock. Neighbors came from all around to try it out and several added it to their Amazon carts right from the camp grounds. This hammock provided hours of enjoyment for everyone. Two to three children were able to sit and use it as a swing, all at one time. This hammock is large enough to accommodate two full grown adults, COMFORTABLY!!! Not only did we use it at our camp site but we took it to the lake and used it there. Any place we found two trees that would accommodate (it's fully adjustable, trees don't have to be a certain distance apart) we hung our hamock. We really enjoy using it as a swing too. To use as a swing (for an adult or adult and child together) it is most comfortable to sit with your legs crossed. It can swing really high and the kids all enjoy it very much. Our family dog enjoyed being right next to us on the hammock. We would bring a footstool and set it next to the hammock for our dog to sit on while we were in the hammock. I and my husband took many afternoon naps in the hammock with our dog sleeping next to us. We love this hammock so much we are considering purchasing a second and possibly a third one to bring camping next year. 2 for our family, one for the families we meet. The kids loved a place to "chill" with the friends they met camping. This truly is the best hammock we have purchased and we've purchased many. AND the price, it is excellent!! This is well worth the money. We would be willing to pay twice as much for the quality, size and comfort of this hammock. The ease of setting up and taking down saves time and trees. I could literally have this hammock setup in under 2 minutes. A ten-year-old could do it in under 5. The construction of this hammock is most impressive. The high quality material and stitching will make It last for years and years. I only decided to buy after I saw a review on Amazon for this hammock. My husband is a United States Marine. I read a review about several Marines who slept in this hammock for two weeks and they all raved about it. Honestly if you put a bug tent over does it make you could sleep very comfortably. We haven't tried it yet but we plan to! This would make for a great gift to yourself your family or friends. Everyone could use a hammock like this. We miss being able to use it as often but we will not let the winter stop us from enjoying the hammock outside. I wanted to make mention of the side pocket. The pocket is the perfect size to accommodate any size flip flop. There's nothing more relaxing than swinging in a hammock barefoot. Cleaning the hammock is simple. If and when it got dirty, I just took the hose to it and it would be dry within a couple hours.

Love these so much that we ordered more!

Loved these so much that we now have 3 of them spread throughout our yard! They're a hit with my whole family and a hit when we host big outdoor parties too. Love the double size (we load them up with kids or enjoy them comfortably together as an adult couple), like the straps that come with it, and love that the fabric breathes enough on a hot day to keep you comfortable or can bundle you up a bit when the cool breeze kicks in! I'd even say my family tends to swing in them a lot more than I'd prefer but they hold up perfectly to the test and make a lot of people happy. :-)

Hang in happiness!

My wife and I love this product. The color selections available provide great alternatives for all color tastes. The item arrived in good condition and the color matched the color shown in the pictures. We took the item camping with us the first weekend after the purchase. The setup was extremely easy even for novices like us. You can set the hammock up in 1-2 minutes. The included straps are easy to understand and extremely quick to setup. The straps have a series of knots already tied which provide easy setup for all distances that the straps can reach. Our friend has an ENO hammock that she brought with her on the camping trip. Comparing the straps of the two, the Legit Camping straps were much quicker to setup than the ones our friend had for ENO. We had our hammock up and we were hanging before she had even completed setup on her straps. However, her straps were longer and provided a greater option of locations to hang the hammock. Being deep in the national forest this did not impact our usage at all, but if you are in a location with a sparse number of trees this might be something to consider. You could use other straps than those included with the hammock which would provide a greater number of locations to hang the hammock. However, we really liked how the straps and the hammock all easily fit into the attached bag. The ENO hammock could not fit the straps into the same bag as the hammock. As for the hammock itself, it is extremely comfortable. The stitching is well done, and I have not felt compromised by the quality or make of the hammock at all. I am a pretty big guy, and the hammock I have never felt as if the hammock was going to give way under me. The material is comfortable, and it is also breathable. I have used it on several 90 degree plus days, and while I was worried I might overheat in the hammock, the breathable nature of the hammock made it so I could feel the breeze through it, and I was never any hotter than I would have been just being in those temperatures. I bought one of these hammocks because my wife had said she would like one for camping. Instead of buying one for each of us, I decided to purchase just the one to determine the quality. Having used it for about a month now, we are happy enough that we just ordered our second. I highly recommend this product.

This hammock has exceed my expectations. From someone who has always been a "ground camper" and used tents my whole life this was a breath of fresh air. I was taking a trip and needed to pack lightly and wanted to have the opportunity to camp while on my trip so this seemed like the most reasonable option due to how light and small the product is when stowed and packed. This hammock is exceedingly easy to set up and use, it took me all of 2 minutes to set it up. I am around 200 Lbs and after getting in it the first time i had no concerns about the material being able to support me. I would recommend purchasing heavy duty tree straps as the ones it comes with are very basic, it will help give you some peace of mind that you aren't going to crash to the ground like a meteor while sleeping. Though, I was nervous about how sleeping in this hammock would be as generally i tend to be a light sleeper. I was amazed at how well i slept for my first time in it. I had a basic sleeping bag and no pillow and was able to fall asleep very comfortably and slept all night. There was no discomfort when i woke up and i will continue to use this now for my lighter camping trips. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to try out this method of camping, or even for use in your back yard. Excellent product.

Great hammock, great price!

I had been wanting a camping hammock for a while, but wasn’t sure how much I wanted to invest, so when I saw this one and read the reviews I thought I’d give it a try. Ordered on a lightening deal and it was scheduled to arrive Thursday. We were camping Friday, so I registered my product to qualify for the lifetime warranty and then threw it in my backpack for camping. Once we got to our campsite, it was the first thing I set up. Set up was super easy, even for a novice. The whole family enjoyed it all weekend. Over the course of our trip it held: me on my own (my favorite :)), me and my 2 children (swinging and moving), and me and my husband. It held up great, and was the last Thing we took down. I loved that everything fit in the bag, and it now hangs on my backpack so I’ll always have it with me. I suspect we’ll get a lot of use out of it!

Great product, comes with everything you need

The hammock is great, and the peace of mind that comes from the lifetime guarantee is wonderful. It's made of quality parachute nylon, and the measurements seem to match what is expected of a double-sized hammock. I'm a big fan of the strap system they've chosen. Cord is smaller and lighter than webbing (and if you're super weight conscious, you could replace the cord here with something even lighter like amsteel), but they include a nice nylon sleeve to spread the pressure out and cause less damage to trees. The cords are also super adjustable (you can tie an overhand knot and attach the carabiner above it, or you could tie a marlin/marling spike hitch at any point along its length using the carabiner as the toggle) so there's a lot of flexibility in tree spacing and how much sag you want in your hang. I got immediate follow-up from the seller making sure everything was received and in working order, which I appreciate. One note about the orange color I purchased: the product photo looks a bit like a sort of burnt orange, but the actual color is more of a hunter safety orange. I love bright colors for my outdoor equipment, mind you, because you never know what might happen when you're out in the forest. I haven't camped in this hammock yet, but all indicators are that it will sleep great. If my opinion changes once I get out in it, I'll be sure to update my review.

Good alternative to more expensive double hammocks

This is a really good, more affordable, alternative to ENO hammocks. I own an ENO ultralight and ENO doublenest. This is comparable in size and quality to the ENO Doublenest. It's about the same weight, same size, same load bearing limits. It is just as comfy, and to be honest, for mine, the material even feels a bit softer than the ENO hammock does. And I won't feel as bad if it gets torn up camping. My only complaint is that the suspension system is pretty cheap and doesn't feel as ... substantial. I don't bother with the suspension system they provide and instead just use my ENO straps instead.

Where there is a will, there is a way!

A friend brought his hammock on vacation this summer and told me to try it out. I liked it but wasn't willing to spend the kind of money he had spent on his. Besides, I already had an old cotton type hammock that my 6 year old granddaughter liked to get in with me. But we would always fall out of it. Or I was afraid it would break. When I received a coupon for a free gift from my work, I started looking into hammocks. There was one available, a brand I had not heard of, so I decided to research it on Amazon. That's when I found the Legit Double Hammock. I was impressed with the reviews, the cost, the life time warranty and the fact that I did not need to buy additional hardware to hang it. I immediately ordered it. I can't say enough about the great customer service. Tyler was corresponding with me even before I received the item. Shipping was super quick. The day I received it, I found 2 trees on my property and hung it up in less than 4 minutes. I wanted to use the hammock a few times before leaving a review. So here goes. I've used it at my summer place with my granddaughter and we loved it! She loved how it was so big that we could pull the sides together and "hide" from grandpa. And we never fell out of it. Hearing her giggles was well worth the price. This week I took it on vacation. There were no 2 trees close together to use it near our cabin. I had brought an extra rope and even then the distance was too great. That's when I noticed a huge rock near our cabin and a huge tree. I took the rope and wrapped it around the rock. Then I realized the tree was way too wide for the tree saver and rope to go around it. That's when I tried putting both of the tree savers with the ropes together and then wrapped it around the tree. It worked! When there is a will, there is a way. (See photos). So this week after hiking or kayaking, I'm able to come back and relax in my hammock near the fire. Very comfortable. Don't have any fears of it ripping or falling out. Easy to take down each night. Stores back in the attached bag. Put the hardware and tree savers in first. I love it!!! With another grandchild on the way, I'm looking forward to getting both my babies in this hammock for some fun filled memories. Highly recommend!
