Decent Lock Assembly for the Price!

Replaced my ‘02 Honda CRV drivers door lock. The biggest challenge was getting the cylinder housing clip off from under and behind the lock. A small flat tip screwdriver and flashlight did the trick. Remove the cylinder tumbler from inside of door. I only needed to loosen the two 10mm bolts and slightly push the door handle outward to re-insert the clip in the housing. Once that’s completed, re-tighten the two bolts and insert the new cylinder into the door handle housing until it snaps in past the clip. The rest is just re-assembly. Prior to installing the new cylinder into the door housing, I squirted a little lubricant on the outer assembly and within the lock...I used a little Seafoam Lubricant spray. Works like a new lock, and has a smooth operation.

Product was a good fit for Honda Element

This is a complicated installation - not an issue with the part, it is about how the car is built. Part works great, just takes plenty of patience to do the replacement.

Recommended and work better than factory locks.

I bought these for my 2003 Honda Element as both door locks went out. These fit right into place as if they were from factory. Works great and much more positive feeling than original locks from factory when they were working. Definitely recommend these products.

Great product

Just bought a used Honda Element and discovered the key didn't work on the driver's side. Found out there was a common defect these locks were a perfect replacement. Much cheaper doing the replacement myself, but definitely watch the YouTube videos for some good tips!
