I bought these for my daughter for her 4th birthday. I got her a water table and we put these in it. She and my 1 year old son had a blast with them in the water table. We eventually had the bright idea to put a bunch of the beads on our trampoline after they had soaked up water and were full sized. We seriously had so much fun jumping together with the water beads bouncing around and squishing under our feet. The kids were slip-sliding around on the smooshed beads on the trampoline and we were all laughing breathlessly, and having the most fun together we’ve had in a long time!! We’d throw them in the air and throw them at each other. Definitely a hit product!! I had no idea that I myself would enjoy these so much! All three of my kids loved them! My oldest son is 10, daughter is 4 and littlest son is 1. I’m 31 years old, and we all had a blast with these!! Will def purchase again when we run out! Try them on the trampoline if you have one!! Your kids will LOVE IT!!

I bought these for my daughters water table, as a filler for sensory play. She has caught me multiple time playing with them in the kitchen. They are VERY COOL! I have to remind myself that they are not slimy, just wet. I soaked them inside so it would be easy to separate them from the water that didn't get absorbed. The picture I've shared is a picture of what they look like before soaked, a 4 hour soak and an overnight soak, as well as how much the 4 hour bead shrunk overnight when I left it to dry up. The shoebox bin I stored them in is about half full and that was only 3 teaspoons of beads. TEASPOONS! My daughter loves playing with them and so do I. They are easily squished and they bounce when they fall so I can see why 20,000 are necessary. However, I think we are just going to buy more because they are so cool!

I bought this for my 1 year old nephew. Once we taught him not to eat the beads (it took about five tries but he finally got it, although he still needs supervision so he didn’t try it behind our backs) it was all about experimenting! We put them in a water table and he was fascinated with the kinesthetic experience and visually from the multi colors. They’re really quite beautiful, like little gems. He would roll around in them, and just tried many different things to see what would happen. It really brought out the little scientist in him (all little ones are little scientists experimenting). I definitely recommend this!

Our 3 year old son plays with these for hours! We only made 2 tbsp and poured them into a clear shoe bucket with lid and he uses the scissors like cups to practice and he loves pouring them from cup to cup and scooping and pouring. They feel like the stuff inside of diapers to soak the liquid. If anyone has ever accidentally washed a diaper that exploded that jelly stuff all over the place you’ll know what I’m talking about! When broken they are a mess so keep that in mind! But overall hours of play! My daughter is 4 months old and I shoved her hands and feet in there for sensory play but obviously I was holding her and monitoring her every move just so she could experience the texture! She loved it!

As far as a water bead goes, these do exactly what they're supposed to and definitely feel all squishy and cool and sensory-stimulative. But, DISCLAIMER, if used on or spilled on concrete, they dry up/ absorb all the water around them then stick to it. In other words, I cannot get them up without powerfully hosing them off and now there are little colorful gelatinous pieces all over my yard. My son is 20 months and definitely likes playing with these, but since he is young he wanted to throw them everywhere and on the ground. Also I did catch him considering putting them in his mouth so watch out for that! He has never been the type of baby to put things in his mouth either. I think and older child would understand better that they are supposed to be used in/ sit in the water. So if using with a younger toddler, be careful and maybe let them expand before letting the LO play with it. They really do expand A WHOLE DREAKINH LOT!! Cannot even believe how many balls are everywhere from what seemed like a small amount. Another recommendation: follow the directions on the box ;) tried to show in pic the massive amount, and that size is the biggest these get.

My kids absolutely love these! Even I do!! I myself played with them for an hour straight and didn’t realize it until I looked at the clock and I was like wow my hands are pruny and I’ve been here for an hour, someone get me away from these addicting things 😅 Amazing quality for the price, I even ordered some for my niece for her birthday. I highly recommend these!!! Also, the tweezers aren’t really wide enough to grab the beads but I’m sure you can open it up to get it to be more open, however my kids just walk around playing with them which is helping their fine motor skills, the scoop scissors are amazing. Overall A++++++++++

Oh my goodness, sooooo much fun!!! I put a bunch in a large tub so my 3 year old could play with it. I may have played with it more than him at first! So addicting!! At first I added a big bowl next to it so he could transfer the balls from one container to the next with the “tongs/grabby tool” and had him switch with each hand. A few days later I hid some little toys in the balls and he could find them. We had so much fun with it!! I love that you can let the balls dry and reuse them at a later moment again too. The tweezers are useless though since as an adult I wasn’t able to pick up any balls with them. But love the tongs!!

Nana and I "tested" these for the baby and had the time of our lives. Ben is 2 I will add a picture of him playing but he picks them up with the claw things that the beads come with and shifts them from one bowl into another. We only used about 10 beads because we just wanted to see how they worked but we did go to bed so we soaked them for about 9 hours. At 9 hours they were pretty bloated I could say maybe too full, so if you look at the pictures some got a crack and crushed apart so do watch how long you soak them. But Ben loves the way they feel and bounce. Keep them off the floor they get dirty.

Purchased for my almost five year old twins. They love them. They loved scooping them and pouring them into and out of their dishes. I did one tsp, and have tons of them for them to play with ... Which they can do for many days. (Not sure how long they will last....but so far, that one tsp has gone a long way.) Wouldn't recommend for itty bitty kids unless there is supervision. I could see a little kid trying to eat them. I love that they're not messy and cleanup is easy with them.

I cannot even believe how much these teeny tiny plastic beads grow in size after a short soak. Pretty unbelievable. The kids had a fun time with the beads and the tools. I was a bit surprised at how messy these were when my 2 yo smushed a bunch of them. Sticky pieces everywhere. Easier to let them dry and then clean them up. Also, I kept them in a sealed container for a few days, and when we opened them again they smelled musty/moldy, so I threw them out and made fresh. Maybe keeping them in the fridge would prevent that. Either way, still super fun and kept the kids entertained for quite a while.
