Affordable & great beard care

I ordinarily never write reviews but this is a product that I just had to say something about. Ive tried a lot of beard care products in the past some very expensive and some not, I decided to give this one a try because it seemed like I had nothing to lose, it was affordable and had a lot of great things with it, and i must say, this is the greatest purchase i have ever made. The scented beard balm smells amazing and really shapes my beard well the comb and brush are amazing, I've been in the market for a while but all were over priced so these were definitely a great addition, the unscented beard oil is just as it sounds, unscented, and does its job very well. I'm actually looking forward to running out so I can try all their other products. 10/10 would recommend. The most bang for your buck

Better than I expected!

Purchased as a gift for the hubby whom has a glorious beard. He is new to the whole man care idea and this kit is one of the first thing I’ve got him that he’s really into. The brush is a great texture and works easily thru his beard. The comb has larger spacing thru the teeth which is perfect for removing tangles in thick corse beard hair. And I was surprised to see him using the oil and balm but he loves them both, and they smell amazing! I was also shocked at the quality of the scissors the are sharp and the holes are large enough for him to fit his big Viking sized fingers in. This kit has been a huge success when it comes to beard grooming in our house and the case looks great sitting on our bathroom counter! I will definitely be buying more products from Viking revolution. Also I was NOT paid to do this review I was just happy that the hubby liked this kit so much that I wanted to share!

Best beard kit EVER

I was so excited to receive this a day early then expected, it shipped fast, it arrived quickly, the box was in perfect condition. Nothing could have been better! It's almost my husbands birthday so I was beyond excited to see this kit and what came in it and for months hes been dying for a wood comb that won't fall apart, and buying the balm and oil online also scared me a bit I didnt know I'd they'd smell good if he would like the scent so I am so happy to say he LOVED it, like EXTREMELY LOVED it! He said it's the perfect gift so I'm so excited and the oil is a big enough bottle to last him quite a long time and the balm as well but as soon as he gets close to running out I will be back to order some more! So excited I saw this!

Great quality product

Awesome kit! Read a lot of reviews on other kits before I settled on this one. Most other kits have cheap scissors or combs that come in a cardboard box, but not the Viking Revolution kit! Arriving in a large metal tin, every item has its own shadowed out space in the case. The products are great, smell good, and the items are top of the line. I also purchased a bottle of beard wash and a bottle of conditioner. My beard is softer, smells good and feels good. Even my wife could tell the difference. It’s obvious that these guys care about their customers and ensure quality products for a great price. They didn’t just a get a one-time purchase, they got a lifetime customer. This is a great starter kit and the price is perfect

The oil has a citrus smell to it but is not overpowering. the balm does clump some but when using the brush and comb you can get it to spread out. It does feel as if there is a lot on your face so i do take a towel and wipe some of it off. My beard is much fuller and looks healthier. The gem of this package is the brush. It feels great on the face and i also use it to comb my hair and it does very well at getting it to lay down.

This kit is awesome!!!

My husband absolutely LOVES this kit for his beard! The brush tames his wild hairs and comb is perfect for styling. The oil is completely scentless and the beard balm has a very faint clean citrus scent. Truth be told, I'm actually super jealous of the brush! I would love to have a brush just like this for my hair!

Sealed kit missing scissors and smells very odd. - Edited: Issues Resolved!!!! (See Below)

The kit arrived today and was shrink-wrapped with no apparent damage. There is a cut out in the foam for the scissors but there are none in the package. I was also expecting a hard cover book but I failed to read the reviews from others stating the book is not included. Also it's mentioned that the oil and balm are unscented, which is fine. I'd prefer a cedar or woodsy scented oil. When I opened the box however, the scent that greeted me was, well, unpleasant - somewhat like rancid vegetable or nut oil. So far, I'm liking the wooden comb and the boar brush. I just haven't broken in to the balm and oil yet. EDIT: I contacted the Viking Revolution website and explained the above issues. Victor emailed me back and said he apologized and would take care of it. He sent me a pair of scissors and a sculpting template. It turns out that the scissors are a larger/better pair than would have originally been included in the Ultimate Kit. How do I know? - Well they're much larger than what would fit the foam cutouts in the kit box. It also has a small comb and is enclosed in a 'simulated leather' carrying case. I'm a leather worker myself and even for being a non-leather case, it's still quite nice quality. I don't have much use for the template at the moment - my beard isn't very large yet but it offers 3 different shapes in one template and seems quite strong - not flimsy at all. I was at a 3 star review before, but since Victor went above the call, I'm giving them 5 stars with this edit. Oh, and as far as the oil went - once I removed it from the foam package, pulled the plastic off and used it - the smell seems to have faded. I think it was the foam or some manufacturing, artificial chemical smell I was catching. I also used the sculpting balm and oil while out on vacation to a wedding - I liked how the products worked, and I actually did receive comments from family on how nice and full my beard looked. Good on you Viking Revolution.

IN LOOOOVE!

I bought this for my Husband for Christmas and wish I bought it sooner! His beard is glorious now and smells like heaven! He has a coarse beard and this kit has made it so soft! He is very picky with everything that goes on him and he is in love with this kit! The design as well looks cool as hell! It is very manly and is very well organized! Will keep ordering more products from this company! Must buy!!

So far so good

I wish that Amazon had packed the package better. Between Amazon and my delivery service they managed to crush the hell out of the tin and make it useless. Thankfully the foam padding kept everything inside safe. Scissors are nice, the wood comb is similar to other combs I've gotten, and I like the boar's hair brush. It's stiff and prickly, but I look for that in a boar's hair brush. The balm and oil are probably the main draws here right? The oil is pleasant and doesn't stink. The balm is great- nice mild sent that goes away after you apply it, and it literally fixed my dandruff problem in 2 days. Overall for the money I spent, I'm happy with the kit and have no complaints. I know that the wood comb might be a little delicate, but I wanted the boar hair brush more anyway. I'll probably look into getting more of the balm at the very least. I'll play with the beard oil more as my beard grows out.
