My dad was a watchmaker, long before battery operated movements were the norm. I "worked" on watches as a little kid, and wasn't afraid to tackle a battery replacement on two watches in need. The shop in the Mall wanted $15 for one and $19 for the other. This kit has everything needed but the batteries, so for $16.78 I got the tool kit and two sets of 2 replacement batteries, $17.22 less than the shop AND I have the tool kit to do this from now on for the cost of a battery, about $1.75 each. I'm glad I got this little kit.

Never pay to replace watch battery again

I needed a new battery for a Movado watch and went to two watch/jewelery places and was told it would be $95 to replace the battery. gets the job done easily

wanted to avoid the high cost of getting a watchmaker replace my watch batteries . I found this kit on Amazon and it was at the right price with all the right tools you will need to do it yourself. the quality of the small tools is good and i already replace 3 batteries on a variety of quartz watches with extreme ease. this was one of my smartest purchases ever. every watch owner that requires battery changes should own one. you will be so amazed how easy it is.

Perfect for the home DIY person

I ordered the kit for occasional battery changes on my families watches, and for that it works perfectly. My largest watch is 1.5" diameter and the vise fit it using the medium peg sets. I believe it would fit up to about 1.75". The adjustable wrench worked perfect, no slips, easy to hold and adjust. The knife and pry set I have not used except to pop out the battery, but they appear to be good quality for home DIY use.

Saving a ton 😎

I have three Fossil watches that I needed to have the batteries changed. Nordstroms and Macy's won't do it because I "didn't buy them here" so I purchased this kit. It worked like beautifully. I just used the tool to take off the back and I had absolutely no problem taking the back off and putting it back on. Purchasing this kit will save me about $20 per watch when the batteries need to be replaced. Great item!

Just what I needed! Did the trick!

While this is not a high end kit, it really did the trick for my needs. Contrary to a prior review that it was not for men's watches with large faces - I disagree. I can only speak to the screw type back and the tools for that, but I am VERY satisfied with the tool, the price and the performance. I bought the kit to remove the back from a Fossil Dean with a fairly large face and the watch back removal tool worked perfectly - both on removal and replacement!
