Great RV Step
This is a very well made product and will work well as an RV step. It's nicely finished and very sturdy. The legs fold under as pictured so storage is simplified. You could spend twice as much and not have a better step.

Well built, sturdy and stable
We finally just had an opportunity to use our step with our RV. First use was desert camping and with uneven ground it was a piece of cake to just adjust one leg a bit longer than the others for a level, stable platform. This step is really built sturdy and is a quality piece of hardware.

Great step and half the Camping world price
Excellent quality Platform. We use it with our fifth wheel camper as the first step. I am tall/large man and feel 100% comfortable using the well made step. We actually are going to buy a second for the other entrance to camper. This one is half the price of the Camping World product with the same/better quality.

Great step for our trailer
We have a mini Meerkat travel trailer and this fits nicely below the door to give an extra boost getting inside. Very sturdy and doesn't wobble when stepping on it. Easy to fold up for storage. Appears to be very well made and should last a long time. Will get good use out of it.

Worth the price, sturdy and stable
Great product, I'm delighted I found it. My husband is disabled and my CRV is just a bit too high for him to easily get into. It folds up when it's not needed, and is very strong and sturdy. It's high enough to be useful and large enough to be a stable platform. Exactly what we needed and worth the price.

I didn’t like spending so much on a single step but once ...
Heavy duty, light weight. I didn’t like spending so much on a single step but once we got it and started using it for trailer I was very happy with this purchase. Would recommend and purchase again. The folding legs makes it 5 star:)

Wish I had of bought this sooner!
Perfect (bottom) step for my rv, also very handy around the camp sight with awning etc.! Very sturdy and well made product!

Great addition for an RV
Very sturdy and well made. And much cheaper than other sources. We carry this in our RV as we frequently are parked on uneven ground, and it can be an elevated distance to the first step of the RV. This step provides a good sized stable platform to transition from ground to RV steps. The friction tape gives secure footing in wet conditions, and the aluminum construction provides corrosion resistance.

supports my needs
not just for rv's. i bought this platform step because i could no longer climb my step ladder and it seems that OASHA prevents rungs being other than their prescribed distance apart. it had taken a while but it saw this while hunting for something else. i am so glad that i did! not only can i reach most things that are not that high but it helps that i can reach the first step of my step ladder again.

In depth review. The exact height is 8.8", here are some details
The exact height is 8.8", not 9" and there is no adjustment. My recommendation to the manufacturer is to re-engineer the height to 10" (it's only my personal preference) by moving the leg angle slightly. At least for me, an extra inch in height is a good trade-off even with reduced pay load. Personally I think the 400 pounds claim is quite conservative, it should hold a lot more. Oh, where is the brand name? When something is built right, it should have a name, right? When legs are in the retracted position, the 4 support brackets are exactly flat to the ground so there are no pointy protrusions, however there is no rubber padding on the bracket. I can't see an application for that, may be someone else has a special need for a 3 inch platform. I removed the 4 rubber footings just to check how tight they would stay on (they were tight alright) and was surprised to discover a metal plate sitting inside the footing. I have owned metal leg chairs which had the problem of legs cutting through, so it was comforting to see the manufacturer has gone the extra mile to make it more durable. The locking pins are extremely easy to unlock, there is a separate connecting pin you press to unlock the legs, so you are not pinching the locking pin. The top is finished with high quality anti skid strips (glued down well, thick and hard to peel) but as the other reviewers had commented, some pets are sensitive to the slot openings (3/8" wide). The legs stay retracted during transport but there is no handle. I retracted only 3 legs and use the 4th leg as a handle. The locking pin, thou not locked, its tension helps the leg to stay closed. I like it unlocked anyway as that will make it easier to open. Overall its a very good design, quite durable and I use it in the laundry room to reach items stored at high places. It is easier to move around than a stepping ladder, just kick it around to position. Though this stool is lacking some details like the missing handle and slight shortness but nothing to hold me back from loving it. You will not regret.
