Super strong little magnets!!

These magnets are extremely strong! But, super strong magnets come with downsides you should consider. I use them to hold up the lid of my tool cart at work/ hold a tiny power strip to a metal backing. Pros: -not much is stronger than neodymium magnets. -can hold heavy things against even semi-magnetic objects -great for holding up knives/tools.... Just put some adhesive on one side of magnet that may be against a non-magentic surface then put your item on it and it becomes a great quick access holder. Cons: (these don’t bother me but you should consider this) -neodymium is very fragile.... These magnets will break and blow apart if not handled properly! They break like any other magnet made from this material. DO NOT DROP THEM -extremely hard to remove from surfaces (can be good and bad) Bottom line: I would 100% recommend these!

Strong is a good description

They tell you these magnets are strong but unless you have one stuck to a whiteboard or a refrigerator you really don't know what that means. They have spacers between them for a reason. Separate with caution. They're thin pieces of metal. If they get stuck together you have very little surface to grip when prying them apart. It helps to have a plan before you separate these bars.

REAL GEMS!!!

In the event you were not aware of it, this kind of magnet--Neodymium--is among the VERY STRONGEST available today (Genuine INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH--which I discovered about twenty years ago)!!! I needed to fix a little household problem: My fridge, over maybe a year, has had a way of staying open a small crack, even when there was nothing holding it open. I thought one or two of these guys might be the solution to my problem. As it happens, they were the PERFECT solution!! I carefully fastened two of them to the refrigerator door, under the rubber seal, using the handy adhesive strips included in the package. Now the door closes in a much more SOLID fashion...EVERY TIME. A tip: Please make sure these get NOWHERE near anything like a tape cassette...or they will be "history!!!" Another tip: As strong as they are, it can be a bit difficult pulling the separate magnets apart, at first. It takes some practice to "get the hang of it!!" ; ) And, the price was reasonable for a SUPERIOR product.

Love it!

This is my second magnets set for my class. They are perfect for holding the class objective poster. I tried different kinds of magnets before but they are not strong enough to hold the poster. This magnet set is super super strong, too strong that it gives you trouble to take it off from the whiteboard. But I like it for the fact that it holds up things very well.

Perfect for DIY home projects

These magnets are perfect for holding my loose drill bits on a wall board rather than cluttering up a drawer. They are strong enough to securely even hold drill bits that don't sit flat.

Works Well

Works well for my need. I wrapped them with washi tape (and created a tab for lifting them) in pairs of 2, creating 3 magnet bars that I use with my diamond painting canvas. I use a light pad attached to an art easle and the incline causes the canvas to slide when using the mediocre magnets that came with the light pad. These solved the problem because they are strong enough to hold the canvas in place. I did have to wrap them with washi tape to make a tab for lifting, but I knew I would need to do that when I ordered them. These are vert strong magnets so care must be taken that they don't snap to each other quickly or they might break. Care also needs to be taken that you do not let them snap together in your hand because they can and WILL pinch and cause a painful blood-blister. I would buy these again.

Powerful!

I was surprised how powerful these little guys are. I use them to secure a sun reflector to a west-facing screen door to keep out the hot summer sun. They really do the job, although I kinda wish I had bought magnets with a mechanism to grab onto because these guys are so powerful that I have to work hard to remove them. That said, that was my fault, not the manufacturer's. (I do not use the adhesive with which it comes, so cannot comment on that.)

Incredibly strong!

SEE PHOTO ! Unbelievably strong! I needed to somehow attach my magnetic knife holder to the fridge, and since I’m in a rental, I couldn’t use screws on any of the wood cabinets. At first it slid down, but I taped a pencil to the fridge and used these magnets, and it’s perfect! And like another reviewer said, deal with them with caution because I pinched the bejeebers out of my finger trying to pry two of them apart. And as other reviewers said, yes, they are brittle. Dropped one on the tile floor and it broke into three pieces. STILL EASILY WORTH THE MONEY!

VERY strong and very useful

I purchased these bar magnets for the purpose of aligning the knives on my woodworking jointer. They are REALLY strong magnets, and you should follow the instructions included to separate them properly. They are pretty thin, but I didn't have any issues with that. You do need to be careful as they are so strong they will easily snap to any metal objects nearby. As for the purpose I bought them for, they did great. My knives are finally aligned properly and for the first time since I bought it, my jointer is cutting correctly. They come in a nice, plastic storage case. They also include some adhesive stickers to attach the magnets to stuff, but I haven't used them yet.I wouldn't definitely get these again.

very powerful magnets

read a review that it would help with a refrigerator seal... And it did... These are very strong magnets.. Well worth the price. The double sided tape that came with it didn't all work... ??? not sure why they were put on the same seal which I cleaned and dried.. but one of the double sided tapes did not hold?..,.but all in all as far as the magnets go Wow!... very powerful...
