Purchased to do margin testing on LTE signal for cellular IoT product. Tested using HP8596E from 0-3GHz using tracking generator. Each button delivers very close to the marked attenuation individually and in combination. Measured about 2dB insertion loss in my overall setup consisting of two 1 meter cables and the attenuator from the tracking generator output to the SA input (did not measure loss of attenuator by itself). Build quality seems good. I pressed the buttons repeatedly 10 times (on/off) and measured again to look for any variation in loss. No significant variation observed.

A very nice and compact attenuator. Works as advertised and a great addition to the RF instrumentation in my lab. Delivery was on time and the product offered at a good price point. Another reviewer posted in-depth, valid test data from his spectrum analyzer, so no need to repeat such. I included a look inside pic for the curious minded.

This product works well. It is small and compact, and the attenuation switches track per the numbers on the unit. Very nice product for the price.
