As much as I love everyone of Holy Stone's drones, this is what I have been waiting for! Their first brushless drone! That means everything good about their products, but now they last longer! The brushless motors make it stronger and faster and glass much longer than regular brushed motors! It also May lifetime a lot longer! I got 20 minutes out of my first flight and I was able to try out all the features! Out of all the GPS drones I have, this one is definitely the most steady while hovering. Set up is really easy and can be done within a minute before you're ready to fly! The 5G Wi-Fi for the camera connection to the app is awesome! The picture is really really good and you have so many options on the app to play around with. Like follow me mode and route planning, they are all really fun to play with! And so far they have work flawlessly! Even though the battery is really good and lasts longer than any of their other drones, I am about to order a couple more because 20 minutes can go by pretty fast with all the options you have. I haven't pushed this drone to the Limit yet as far as range... But it supposedly goes very far and I can't wait to try it out... Today was only my first day with it and I'm waiting on my battery to charge back up. But more feedback to follow up coming very soon

I've had this drone for about a month now, and it's taken me a while to figure it out. It has a couple of drawbacks, so lets go over those first. The drone has no on/off button, so the only way to turn off power is to remove the battery. The auto-land feature has never worked for me, and the plane always tips over on it's props when it lands. Every time you start the plane, yo have to calibrate the compass/gyro. The batteries take a very long time to charge.. Like more than 6 hours. All of that being said, here are the counter-points. The battereies last an honest 20+ minutes. Very nice. The propellors are extremely tough. With all of the failed auto-landing, and various crashing into trees, I haven't replaced a single propellor. The whole thing is double-tough. The startup calibration, even though it is a pain, is very quick to do, once you get used to it. Same thing with the lack of on/off button. Not really a big factor, once you get used to it. I was a little frustrated with this drone when I first got it, but got with Sera from Holy Stone, and she walked me through a lot of it. Now for the good part. The plane is fast. Faster than the hs100, which I love. It's quieter, due to the brushless motors, It's also very stable, once you flip the GPS switch on. It tracks like a dream. It's very manuveurable, and very easy to fly. Headless mode works great, as does follow me mode. It takes a few flights to get used to flying it, but then it becomes a blast. Very fast, and very responsive. Very much worth the money...

Ok, so I'll have to admit - I had to refer to a couple of youtube videos to get this one off the ground. I'm still a relative newbie having only really flown drones for less than a year. That being said, in that year I've learned alot, including bad drones vs. good drones vs. REALLY good drones. For the price point, this drone is EXTREMELY impressive. Its loaded with features that I'm still getting accustomed to but I don't think you'll be disappointed. I',m certainly not. i DO, however, wish you could control the tilt and pan of the camera with your phone app, but you cant. You'll need to set the how you want the camera to tilt BEFORE takeoff. Still though, thats a small price to pay for the amount of fun you'll have with this drone. I recommend it for the novice-intermediate drone flyer.

I've been flying the HS100 for a while and decided to upgrade to the Ophelia. Holystone didn't disappoint. First things first... I am blown away at how quiet the brushless motors are! Not to mention the overall speed. The overall body is a bit smaller so i't more manageable to stash in a back pack. Do yourself a favor and get at least a spare battery if not a few. They can take hours to charge, so having only one would be a drag. PROS - Fast & quiet. Super easy to pilot, especially in GPS mode. It's very well designed from an aesthetic aspect mass well. . The flight time and the flight distance are both outstanding. Last but certainly not least... The smart return to home function is legit. I can't say enough good things about the return to home feature. CONS - The app isn't as polished as some others, but I've had no issues with the Android or iOS version. The body is pretty light (which allows more speed and efficiency) so flying when it's windy might end up in choppy footage. Lastly, The beeping (just like the HS100) isn't subtle and can get a bit annoying. I Overall I'm really happy with thie product and have 0 regrets.

Drones are getting better and better. And the technologies in more expensive drones are being incorporated in less expensive drones. But, I have learned the hard way (having lost two drones recently), you have to know a number of things before you fly; otherwise, it is really easy to lose the drone in less than five minutes. First of all, no drone, including this one, has great instructions; it is unfortunate but it is what it is. You need to watch some Youtube videos before your first flight. Second, don't fly in an area with lots of trees and power lines (maybe, I say maybe, when you become a more experienced pilot). On this drone, make sure the GPS switch on the remote control is in the "on" position; if you it isn't, it is really easy to lose the drone. Read every single word of the instructions before you fly. If you prepare and do things right, this is a wonderful and really fun drone to fly, especially at this price.

First drone besides the little air hog ones I've messed with. Honestly it impressed me. Easy to fly. Gets some solid height and distance. It does require FAA registration but it's like 5 bucks so no problem. Already had a wipeout but it was sturdy enough took the hit with mere scuffs that rubbed right out. Great for a first timer. Already had it fly way out of signal strength and got a little worried until I head the little bugger buzzing above me about 100 ft. I've made the battery last alot longer than the advertised battery flight time, so another impressive thing I noticed. FPV works good until you get a ways up or away (about 400 meters either straight up or 200 meters away and 200 meters high, it varies based on height and distance ratio) other than the charger they give you which takes FOR.EV.ER to charge, I have nothing negative to say. Good investment if you need to scout your immediate surroundings or piss off your neighbors or freak out your employees. Video quality is good in terms of the onboard micro sd card, photos come out nice aswell. Havent tried the follow me function as of yet but I haven't had a need to. The waypoint gps flight path is pretty stellar too. So aside from the battery I give this a 9 out of 10 but a solid 5 stars for a starter drone. Cant wait to see the upgrades if any are made for this unit.

Here's my review of the HS700. I'm by no means an expert or anything. This is my second drone that I've owed/flew. First impressions: The box was very nice with great images of the product and lots of info about the drone and has a carrying handle to boot. Opening the product: The drone was very well packaged and did have some minor assembly required (landing gear, camera/camera mount, and attaching the props). The drone itself felt like it was made of a sturdy plastic and was light weight, but not too light weight to make it feel cheap. The remote feels like it's made with the same materials and is ergonomic in hands. The phone holder is great. It grips my Galaxy Note 8 with full case on it and feels very secure. It also has a very nice battery explosion bag to place charging or charged batteries in for safety. Only major downfall I had was there was only one battery, no on/off switch on the drone itself, a launch/landing mat, and (after reading the instructions fully) a 5 hour charge time. First flight: After completing the Configuration and downloading the Ophelia app, all I can say is this is the EASIEST drone to fly, ESPECIALLY for BEGINNERS!!! The controls are smooth and the drone is pretty agile, but not too fast to feel out of control. The camera has amazing video and camera quality, not as good as let's say DJI, but for the price, it's great. The Ophelia app is amazing easy to use. It has different view modes, return to home, follow me mode, camera/video controls, take off and land, and rotate. It also gives the Google map of the controller and drone locations. It let's you know distance and height of flight and how many Satellites you are currently connected to while in GPS mode. You connect with the drone via WiFi signal from the drone and the app let's you know your connection status. When you are a good distance away from the phone/controller, the camera can become a little laggy, but it's not horrible. The app is perfect for this particular drone. The drone handles great in wind as well, which is a plus where I live since it's always windy in the Texas Panhandle. Not being able to adjust the camera while in flight is a bummer, but as long as you have it set at a good angle, it's does the job just fine. Latest flight (Video/Pic Attached): the video is quite long and I flew after the sunset to see the video quality in low light and to try out some night flying. I pushed my skills limits with this flight. I did full bank turns, figure 8s, quick direct changes, full speed forward and reverse and finally height. I took this drone to 85 meters up before my battery dropped to low and the drone started to panic for low voltage. I will be pushing this limit further after a full charge. I'm 100% comfortable with this drone and would highly recommend it. I know that the $330 price tag seems steep for a drone the is classified as a child's toy, but I truly feel that you won't be disappointed with this drone. I believe I touched on everything.

This is probably my 4th or 5th drone and it's by far the best one I've owned. It's very easy to set up and fly. The GPS feature keeps the drone stable and it captures really high quality video. I would highly recommend this to beginners and experienced flyers. It takes a while to charge but that is my only negative thing to sa at about it.
