Good
Wanted to have something like this after wildfire every year in the area to measure the 2.5 level. Got this and so far so good, just takes a bit time to figure out how to operate. Fun to play with to detect voc levels.

A pretty decent basic unit for some rough ideas on air quality
In spite of some not so great reviews, I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with this unit. As directed on the on screen prompts, I calibrated the unit and when done took it roaming thru my house , had someone blow smoke at it and drove behind a smelly semi truck. Each situation gave results which I've had expected... Behind the semi and smoke both sent the unit into unhealthful and serious categories. One thing that is apparent is supposed real time actually has about a 15 second display before results start showing so you can't just quickly walk from room to room and if something like smoke pegs the meter at a high value, you have to give it a few long seconds for the sensor to start measuring normal readings again. Moving on, the unit is very easy to set, program, manually calibrate and give offsets if auto calibrate isn't satisfactory. It has decent graphing with adjustable rates of time. Being picky, it would have been nice to have a computer interface but for the price, I'm not complaining. There are 3 very slight annoyances the unit has... Every now and then the unit will drop all values to basically 0 as if the sensor is resetting itself or recalibrating but then continues right where it left off... And the second is the fact it only displays Celsius for the temp not F as we.typically use in the US and time is of course in 24hr format... And last is the fact that the data logging doesn't continue if you leave that screen to view other values. When you return, it starts completely over.

Glad I got it!
This meter is a treasure. It makes it easier to control the air quality in my home. I have asthma & it is better controlled now that I can check the air quality. It is easy to use & responds quickly.

Need to Study the Instructions
It's quality product, but you need to really read the manual. It takes some time to set it up properly, but once you set it up, it works pretty well.

Easy to be used and good features
Very easy to initiate and use. It’s able to monitor multiple air quality indicators and I have been using it to check air quality in bedroom, bathroom, basement, living room and kitchen. The image I uploaded is the air quality indicators for my bedroom.

Must to have to collect the evidence
When you dealing with construction work near my house like what I did, you need a solid evidence to talk to the government, get reimbursed with tax payers money, but a solid data is a very first step, the data is accurate with different setup, near a burning stove with super spicy chilly oil, q construction site, a BBQ event , an chimney cleaning site, good device to keep you aware of your surroundings,no wonder modern day lung cancer rate goes up, a quick update is that this is really useful when the California wild fire hits.

Decent unit if you follow the instructions
I do not have a way to validate the numbers but they seem accurate. I imagine this is a concern among many products like this. I initially used it without reading the instructions and it gave me warnings for formaldehyde. I calibrated it using the method describe in the manual and the numbers seem more in line with my hopes. I did use some clorox wipes in front of it and the HCHO readings spiked high for a while in that area. The oven ran at 400 for 40 minutes and HCHO readings spiked as well but this may be a false alarm. It might not be. It is important when turning this on to let it "preheat" in clean air outside of the house and to do the calibration for the first time as well as let it cool off if the box it came in was sitting in the sun when it arrived before trying to use it. It is also important to understand how these types of units work. They have fans that draw in a specific volume of air and are calibrated for that. When you walk around it will increase that volume or possibly expose it to more contaminants and possibly skew the numbers so be sure to let it sit somewhere for 5 minutes if you want accurate ratings. Its also good not to have it directly under a fan or HVAC vent for the same reason although walking with it seems to cause the worst of the fluctuations.

My friend recommended me to buy an air quality monitor detector to ...
I have been using this consistently on a daily basis for almost 2 weeks now. I bought a new bed frame for my bedroom couple months ago, and the "wood smell" has been in my room since then and never goes away. My friend recommended me to buy an air quality monitor detector to see if the TVOC was below the standard rate and make sure it would not harm our health. Overall, this detector is easy to use.
