Great deal on a great jacket
Great jacket, especially considering it's price. Very well made, and more pockets inside & out than I know what to do with ! Based on the size chart & reviews, I originally ordered a size large, and was expecting a snug fit. The large was way too roomy, and the sleeves and back were too long. I ordered a medium and returned the large jacket. I'm 5' 9" and currently 179 pounds, 33~34" sleeve length, and the medium fits just right, although the sleeves are maybe a half inch short when in the crouched riding position. The inside thermal liner seems to cut out the wind pretty well, as NorCal temps are currently in the high fifties. The red jacket is almost a perfect match of the candy-wine red paint on my ZX-11D, so that's a plus. My only criticism to Viking Cycle, re-vamp your size chart, I don't think it's quite accurate for American fit. Overall, I'm very pleased with this Viking jacket, and that it's priced so reasonable instead of the price-gouging from the more popular motorcycle jacket brands. Hoo-Yah, Viking Cycle !

The fit was as expected
This is a good jacket. It is heavier than expected and I can not make myself wear it on days above 80 degrees. Where I live and ride, that means it will be a Fall to Spring jacket except on the coldest days (50 degrees or less). I don't know why every manufacture makes the sleeves so long but I could us about 1.5 inches less lenght. But this seems to be a common thing, kind of like needing a step ladder to get on an adventure bike thing. In the early 70's I had a Honda 500 single cylinder that I could actually get on. I am about 5'8" and 210 lbs and this jacket for me is an extra large and fits good except the sleeves. Yeah you can cinch them up but it looks worse than just pulling them up and back. Anyway, I am happy for the HiVis for my cold weather riding and I will see if someone has a much lighter version for summer...

Good fit, good storage, great value
Fits well, great airflow, and the pockets are good. I have a Samsung Galaxy 5 and it's a perfect fit in the breast pocket; anything bigger might be too tight. The buttons to hold the liner sleeves in are a little tricky to handle but they retain the sleeves well. The red provides good visibility without being garish or too bright. The zippers all seem to be good quality; I'm hoping they hold up (the most common failure mode of jackets: bad zippers). The pull on the main zipper is easy to handle with gloves on. I haven't "tested" it in a slide yet and I'm hoping not to...but the armor feels solid and stays in place. For the price, this is a great coat.

INCREDIBLE, even at twice this price.
Just received my Viking Warlock mesh jacket. To be honest, for under a hundred, I wasn't expecting much at all. Most summer mesh jackets in that price range feel like someone put a piece of packing foam into a women's stocking. I was not only pleasantly surprised, I was absolutely blown away. This jacket is AMAZING. For reference, I'm roughly 5'9" / 170lbs and wear a size 38 jacket. The Medium fits me perfectly, everywhere. Things that I loved: - Construction is above and beyond what I expected. Easily what I would have thought I'd get from a 250+ dollar jacket. - The liner is quilted, a little thin, but I never plan on using it. Still, I was impressed with the quality and the look of it. - There's SO MANY POCKETS. And they're waterproof, as far as I can tell. No shortage of space in this, and the 'tablet' sized pocket would even be okay for concealed-carry, if that's your thing. All the important pockets have zip-closures. - There's even a cool keychain-strap in the right-hand side pocket, so you could clip a door opener or something to it. - The armor is far better than I'd have thought. I honestly expected none, or something cardboard-thin. There's armor everywhere, even on the chest. - It LOOKS AMAZING. It fits so well, tapers nicely, extends down almost to your butt in the back to prevent road-crack, is adjustable at the waist, and doesn't have gigantic shoulder-pads like most summer jackets do. I could honestly wear this to a bar and not look like a fool. Cons: None, really. The only minor gripe is that it didn't have Prime shipping, but I still had it in less than a week. Seriously - buy this. It's absolutely perfect and you're getting WAY more than you're paying for.

Awesome jacket! (6' 4'' 245lbs / XL / It's a little small for me but, comfy nonetheless)
I'm 6' 4'' and 245lbs. You could think of my build as the quintessential "dad bod". I ordered an XL and it's a little bit too small. The jacket stops right at my waistline which feels a little strange but, I won't let my mistake hinder the product at all. My belly has some breathing room and, my arms don't really have a full range of movement. The jacket looks phenomenal. The armor gives me a keen sense of security and once I took the liner out it opened the jacket up some more. I'm going to keep the XL size because in my experience one of two things happen. 1. You get use to how the item feels and/or 2. It will stretch to your dimensions If you were to take the liner out and pair this jacket over your favorite hoodie it would work flawlessly. Overall this Jacket is a steal for the price it's listed at. It could easily cost 120-140 dollars. It's also got pockets everywhere which is a huge plus for me. UPDATE: After riding around with this jacket for a bit I've got to say the fit has improved and it's soooooo comfy. I've been told by other riders that jackets like these usually do cut off around the waist and that's completely normal.

LOVE this jacket!
Can't say enough nice things about this jacket. It's comfy, it's well-made, it's got pockets galore, it's got protective padding, and it looks cool. About the only thing I could ask for more out of it would be that it have more reflective material on the outside, but that's kinda my fault for ordering the black one instead of the Hi-Viz color version. (Supposedly the piping is reflective, but I can't really see it well. I added elastic reflective arm bands that I slip on for rides at night to help make up for this.) Of course, when you're sitting still and there's no wind and you're at a stoplight during the Arizona summer heat, you WILL sweat, and you WILL bake. BUT ... as soon as you start moving again, this thing is the next-best deal to riding with nothing on your torso but a T-shirt. I've nicknamed this my "Lipton Flow-Through Jacket" because of how well air zips through it. Bear in mind, however, even with the removable liner in place, it STILL lets a LOT of air flow through there and you WILL get cold when it's below 60 degrees, which is why I ordered a leather jacket (also Viking Cycle brand), so don't expect this to be a jacket-for-all-seasons thing, even in Arizona. All said, it's an AWESOME riding jacket. Comfortable, easy on/off, lots of places to stash stuff, more features than I'll ever probably use, looks great, flows air through like nothing's there ... just a great bit of gear.

Great jacket for those hot summer rides.
This Jacket is exactly what I was looking for for the summer. Summers here in Southern California can range from the mid 80's to the 100's and sometimes as high as 110+ so I really needed a jacket that would let the air flow around me keeping cool, while also keeping me safe if something should happen. This Jacket does it all, removing thermal liner was quick and easy and the mesh really let's the air flow around you. When stopped or at slow speeds it can get a little warm, but once you start moving again it's nice and cool. I love how easy and fast it is to add and remove the thermal liner. So on those rare days where the 100 degree heat breaks and it drops down to the 70's I can pull to the side of the road and have the thermal liner place before my buddies even notice I'm gone. There are plenty of pockets for phones, wallets, keys, and more and you can even fit those larger phones in the zippered pockets just fine ( I have a Pixel XL). I've only had the jacket for a few months but I feel it really well made it definitely offers the protection that I'm looking for. As me and my friends always say "Dress for the slide, not the ride" I will update my review after a few more months and and rides.

Great for the price
Wow, where to start? Well I ordered a size larger than normal because my arms are a bit longer. I have a 40 inch chest, 178 pounds and like a 33 inch waist. Medium would be perfect but I ordered a large since mediums tend to go higher on my arms in the riding position. So the jacket has basic removable armor and sewn in pads. The arms had adjusters in the forearms to make it a little snugger. The liner is what surprised me the most. Instead of just the vest part zipping out, soft wicking style sleeves that are attached to the vest remove with buttons. As for the pockets.......I don't have enough items to fill them!!! For the price and quality I am very happy. I originally got it to use as a summer jacket but rode with in in 46°F at night in southern Texas and I was still kept decently warm. My legs were colder than my upper body. If you're on the fence about getting this jacket, just go ahead and get it, you won't be disappointed.

great bang for the buck
I ordered my jacket several weeks ago and got it way sooner than expected (I don't remember if it was 3 or 4 days ) . I was a bit nervous about the quality , being as its a lower cost jacket , but I was surprised to find how well built it was . I used the size chart and id say its pretty close , my fit was spot on . The jacket is very comfortable , it has armor in all the right places and vents where you need them , I live in south east Georgia and it gets miserably hot here , but its got enough vents to keep you cool even when the temps get into the low 90's. the hottest day I rode while wearing it was 92 degrees with 100 percent humidity and as long as I stayed moving I was fine. the reflective piping is a nice , low key touch and the abundance of pockets is nice . I especially like the knife pocket with the extra material for the pocket clip . the only( very minor ) gripe I have is the waterproof pockets block airflow , but they ware pretty water resistant , so its actually a good thing if you like having electronics in your pockets . all in all , I give this jacket 5 out of 5 stars because you'd be hard pressed to find a better bang for the buck . I would definitely recommend both the seller ( ive had great customer service ) and this jacket .

GREAT JACKET FOR SUMMER RIDING
Live in Arizona and new to riding. Wanted a protective jacket with layers that was "Mesh style" for airflow living in Phoenix. With the liner in windproof, with the liner removed breathes awesome. Super cool on SUNNY days with temps 90-115*. BRIGHT BRIGHT for visibility. POCKETS galore. Right on the outside chest area you have two pockets large enough to put your smartphone and wallet. One side pocket has a "lanyard" that I clip my garage door opener remote to in the event I forget to zip up the pocket. AND even more pockets inside ! Good armor and super comfy and sleek looking. Sizing was spot on. I ordered a large and I am 6'1" 220# and its perfect with room to tighten or loosen as needed. GREAT BUY and I bought the red one also, exact same quality.
