Wonderful monocular.

I've never tried a monocular before, but I have problems with my eyes not focusing equally and that makes it very difficult for using regular binoculars. I placed it on a tri-pod so I don't have to touch it while viewing the local wild bunnies and squirrels, which keeps it steady and makes viewing much clearer. It focuses nicely and does bring objects in clearly. I added a small tether strap to the eye lens cover so it won't get lost. I have not tried the phone holder.

Easy To Use for photos from mobile phonen

We used this monocular during a recent trip to Colorado for wild life viewing and taking pictures. We mounted it in Amazon's best rated tripod. Easy to use durable and the ability to crisply see wildlife at 250 or so feet was great. We bought a mobile phone mount with helped but was difficult to level and align. That said the picture quality was amazing. Would purchase again.

Great value.....much better than expected!

Great scope! I’m very impressed especially for the money. Photos taken with my iPhone X on an overcast rainy day. The proof is in the photos.

A great telescope

A nice telescope with great clarity and compact size. This monocular focuses easily and has a nice field of view. It does need a tripod as at 12x it is a challenge to hold it with no shake. It is made with high density glass so it has a certain heft to it that helps to hold it still. I am happy with my purchase. The supplied digi-scoping tool is flimsy in the part that attaches your iphone. I broke the knob that tightens the gip on the iphone. It appears to have been a press fit.

Very easy to use!

I wanted a good telescopic device to carry while hiking. The fact that I could use it with my phone for pictures was a plus but I wasn't holding my breath that I would be able to get that to work. I tried it as soon as I received it and it worked great, easy to setup and use. I included a picture of my bird feeder without using the monocular and then a picture of the far feeder with the squirrel underneath it and a bluejay on the feeder. Just slightly zoom in on the phone camera to get rid of the circle the monocular makes and it looks great.

Exceeded Expectations

This is a great scope for the money. It is surprisingly clear. I purchased it with an adapter to take pictures with an eyephone which was a waste of money but i was so pleased with the scope I really did not care.

Good value for inexpensive unit

The Gosky 12x55 High Definition Monocular Telescope and Quick Smartphone Holder - 2018 arrived in prefect condition. The unit has lens caps for front and back that can be connected with the hand cushion grip strap so they do not get misplaced. The 12x magnification is good with great light capture capability for such a unit. The focus is wide range and easy to use. Recommended using a tripod to avoid hand shaking movement for taking photos. The Smartphone adapter is ok but doesn't fit phones with cases. Remove the case to get best fit and the camera lens close enough to the adapter so a clear photo can be taken. The case that comes with the Monocular won't fit both it and the phone adapter. If you buy an after-market hard case both will fit if you configure the adapter so both pieces are laid together disconnected and expanded to maximum. The case is a tight fit but does work without damaging anything. I haven't taken photos yet but they should be suitable quality.

Be careful not to over tighten the adapter when attaching it to the monocular.

Works fantastic for getting that close up shot on my android. I love it!! Unfortunately, when I was connecting the provided cell phone adapter to the monocular, I broke the part that attaches it to the lens. I was having a hard time getting it to stay attached to the monocular and overtightened it which broke off one of the inner pieces that is responsible for holding the adapter securely to it. It still works though and I've managed to capture some really great pictures with just my android.
