Major growth spurt of plants! Great light
I was shocked to see the growth difference this made! We had only had the lamp on certain tomatoe plants because I wanted to see how they would work. At the same time I had just repotted my plants into larger containers and added some composted manure. I didn't intentionally do these both at the same time. However, I digress, about day two I went to water my tomatoe plants and they had literally double in size! I said to my husband, wow manure really made a difference. But he said maybe it's the new light? So we looked at the other plants under the old light and they had not doubled in size! So if I could give more than five stars I would.

Really pleased and will be buying a second bulb
We have live planted vivariums, I thought I would try this bulb in the reptile hoods and see what it was like. First off it fits in zoo med or flukes light holders. The light casts the critters in a funky purple light. But it has definitely helped our vivarium plants grow. I have a planted chameleon and a planted Gecko enclosure - they have similiar plants, same substrate, same humidity, same size enclosure (the only difference is the temperature the geckos are at room temp, the chameleon is at 80. I put the light on the chameleon enclosure and within one week her bromeliads were blooming. Without the growth light it took the geckos an extra 2 weeks to bloom. As for growth, the pothos in the chameleon enclosure is very healthy and growing everywhere, the geckos pothos is doing okay, but it is no where the size of the chameleon Pothos. I did use it every day during my little experiment, now I use it every other day, I just want them to stay alive not create a jungle.

Five Stars!
I purchased two led grow light bulbs for my plant: 100 and 50 watts, and the result exceeded all expectations! Five Stars!

Bright, well made, not hot
Highly recommend. Is heavy, seems very well put together, and appears much brighter than the 45w square LED panel I was using. It also doesn't get nearly as hot as the 45w panel, which became impossible to hold after being left on for more than 10 minutes. I combined this with a reflecting workshop clamp lamp, and am VERY pleased with the result. The clamp lamp was about $8, and this bulb is $17. So at a total cost of around $25, the resulting combination is brighter, cooler, and more easily adjustable than the cheaply made $30 panel I was using. Next I'm going to try the 100 watt version of this bulb.

Great for succulents (and attracting the authorities)!
Something I'm quickly realizing is that a large number of people purchase these lights for their...recreational plants. In fact, I was having a hard time finding reviews for grow lights that didn't involve...recreational plants. As I do not grow...recreational plants...I wasn't sure how these would work for my succulents. On the up side, they work GREAT! It is painfully and unnaturally cold where I live and succulents are sensitive little things so I had to bring them all indoors. They were looking real sad because despite being by the window, the sun has apparently taken a permanent leave of absence from the sky over my house. Most of my plants blushed almost immediately under these lights and my propagation trays have grown like crazy. They are LEDs so there hasn't been any noticeable difference in my electricity bill, despite running them for 13 hours a day, and they generate little to no heat so I'm not overly worried about my house burning down. On the down(ish)side...these are CRAZY bright. You definitely want to get some of the green glasses to protect your looking holes because if you stare at the lights for longer than about 2 seconds, everything else will look green for a hot minute. Another slightish down side is that if you put these in your attic and don't cover the windows, you can see the lights from approximately seven counties over. Your neighbors will either (a) think you have opened a portal to another dimension (best case scenario because, hello, space and time travel!) or (b) submit an 'anonymous' tip to the police that you are growing...recreational plants... in your home (worst case scenario. Unrelated; my neighbors are party poopers). So until I get my hands on a grow tent, my plants are in a closet. All in all, I am incredibly pleased with these lights. They function great and my non recreational plants love them.

Excellent light for the price!
I have been very impressed with this light. I grow microgreens and over-winter herbs. This light has made a tremendous difference in my yield of microgreens and the heartiness of my herbs. Everything is more lush and a deeper green. My set up is very simple and it rotates daily but using just one bulb thus far has made a huge difference. The plants are supplementd with natural light in the early hours of the day but after the sun passes their window it is on the grow light. I turn it on around noon and it goes off around 10:30pm. It is on a timer. I am using one bulb for a 24”x15” area that is often extended another 13” when needed. I find the light works well in this space. The light is about 20” above the plants. I am very pleased with the results. Have not had any problems with heat or plants not tolerating the bulb. I plan on purchasing another bulb and extending my growing as this light has made all the difference.

So loving this bulb!!!
I am hoping my plants love this light as much as I do. Makes for a little extra light on the plants since the days are a lot shorter here in the north. I absolutely love this light. If I get more plants I will definitely get another grow bulb💟

WARNING ***THIS IS NOT A 50-WATT LED LIGHT***
...BUYER BEWARE... Despite everything in the item's description indicating that this is a 50 Watt LED array, it is not. One of the item's answered questions by "Rebekah Lea" on May 5, 2018 even indicates that this draws an actual 50 Watts. It doesn't. It draws 8.8 Watts. (see picture) Nowhere in the item's description does it indicate that this lamp is a 50 Watt *equivalent*, which is what I believe this LED array actually is. The heat sink design is pretty cool, but otherwise this product was misrepresented waste of time and money. Edit 1/16/19-- The vendor contacted me today to let me know that they updated their product description to indicate the actual power draw of the LED lamp. They've gone above and beyond to try to remedy the situation so I'm changing my rating to 5 stars, since the LED lamp has been working great too. Edit 12/9/18-- The vendor contacted me and apologized for the misrepresentation, and indicated more or less what they did in the response to my original comment. They also very generously offered a full refund, as well as a "100W" LED lamp, which arrived today. I think they went above and beyond to try to make me happy with my purchase, which is awesome. But they also asked me to change my star rating. I told them I would do so if they updated their description to indicate the actual power draw of their LED arrays. Because I think the way the LED is currently described is, well, misleading. They told me they would "seriously consider it". I'm not sure what there is to consider though-- they can of course list the LED as a "50W" lamp, but I can't think of a single argument against at least indicating somewhere that the actual power draw is closer to 10 Watts.
