I've heard mixed reviews about mini/portable washing machines, so I was apprehensive about buying one, but I'm glad I did. I live in a small apartment that doesn't have a washer or dryer on site, and the nearest laundromat isn't very close, and all laundromats are expensive when you're on a student budget. I'm really happy to have this washer now. It's worked great, and has cut my laundromat bills by about 80%. However, mini washers like this one ARE NOT THE SAME as normal full-size washers and dryers. They work quite differently. Here's what to know: - There is no drainage or intake pump, both the intake hose and drain hose are gravity fed, meaning the intake has to come from a source above the washer, and the drainage hose needs to flow down into a drain below the washer. More on this below. - The spinner dryer is not a drying machine; there is no heat or fan, it only spins the wet clothes like a salad spinner. It DOES NOT completely dry the clothes, they still need to be air dried or dried with some other appliance. The spinner dryer also has a smaller capacity than the washer, but it still big enough to fit a small load or most of a bigger load in. - This machine is not big enough to wash large items such as blankets, king size sheets, winter coats, etc. I can wash two pairs of jeans, some socks and underwear, and 2-3 shirts in it no problem, and I wash full sized towels one at a time. I can also wash three sweaters at a time, or one twin/full size sheet or thin blanket. - The machine is fairly big, at least half the size of a standard washer, but is pretty light. It should be easy to lift for most people, but if you have a very small bathroom, you might want to consider a smaller machine. Tips on How to Use It: - If you have a bathtub with a shower, using it will be pretty easy. Having a detachable shower head is ideal, as you can just put the washer in the tub and use the shower head to fill it up and wash it out, and the drainage hose can drain right into your tub drain. - If, like me, you only have a stall shower, and/or a shower with a fixed shower head, you'll need to be a little more creative. I set the washer on a low rolling cart (a chair would also work) so I could roll it over next to the shower stall, and the drain hose would drain downwards. Then I took a kitchen funnel and put it into the end of the intake hose (fits perfectly), and tied some string around the lip of the funnel to make a little "handle", and hung it just a couple inches below the shower head. Fills right up, and I don't have to stand there holding the funnel and hose for three minutes. - The two intake ports both let water into the washing chamber, but the right intake goes through the spinner dryer, leaving it wet. You don't have to use both, and I only use the left one. - After spinning my clothes, I hang them up outside or on a drying rack and use a box fan to dry them more quickly. You can use dryer sheets in the spinner, but I would not use any liquids. I usually do two 5 minute cycles, mixing the clothes up in between.

I bought this for use on my houseboat. It is light enough to move around easily, yet sturdy enough to make me comfortable using it. It is simple in design and use and the clothes come out clean. The spinner gets the dampness out of the clothes which makes drying very easy.

Love it for my place. The only thing is that hose is too short.

I totally fell in love with this small washer. I have a small apartment, only 2 of us so, it worked out perfectly! I can wash 10 Blouses or 5 dress pants at a time. It's very lightweight to move around. Did a better job at washing my clothes than the commercial washer at the apartment complex.

Drains great in tile shower, the normal drain grade is plenty. Powerful, I use for my daughter's diapers, covers and clothes. She is 1. Way easier than going to the laundry, much cleaner than letting them wash it. We live in NYC, I carried it in myself up a few sets of stairs. About 40lbs I'd guess, did not look. So far about 12 loads in, just don't abuse it, keep loads on the lighter side, and doing light, seems like it will last. I'm in love with this little addition to our bathroom. FYI the box does say washing machine on both sides.

1st washer didn't work. Company promptly replaced it. It works better than a standard washer in removing dirt and stains. We have an RV size dryer but spin almost dries clothes. I would buy another. It runs about a medium size load. The only problem I had with this company is they will do everything possible not to refund your money. I was offered $10.00. I really didn't want a replacement, at the time.

This little washer is the best thing I have purchased. It is efficient and works well I do have to do a second rinse just to eliminate the soap but not a big deal. The spinner is powerful and removes water from items very well I keep washer in tub and use the shower nozzle to fill up washer. Water drains into drain of tub. Very pleased

I bought this last year for my Christmas gift to myself. I am on a very tight budget so paying $3.25 a load to wash only meant I could do laundry once a month. I can now wash every week so stains don't set into my clothes. I have just laid it in the bathroom tub so the drain hose just drains down the tub. I use a shower head to fill it up. I fill it above the lint catcher so the lint isn't so bad. I use hot water from the shower to wash and than 2 cycles of cold water to rinse. The first rinse cycle I put 1/3 cup vinegar in the water while the wash is spinning the soapy water out. The vinegar is to cut out the soap from the clothes. I spin it again to get rid of the vinegar water while filling the wash side again but this time I add fabric softener. After the 3rd spin cycle I hang them to dry which doesn't take too long. My clothes are clean and smelling fresh and I love it :D

I purchased it for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She says it's perfect for her efficiency apartment.

Fast shipping, great customer service, washing machine is quiet and gets cloths clean. Compact and efficient. Thank you
