My order arrived quickly and I am very pleased with this product. I really enjoy how there is an alarm and it actually states " center" when you get to the middle of the stud. It is extremely easy to use and the directions explained everything well enough to where I had no issues.

Great, accurate stud finder for a fair price!

After trying another stud finder, and getting highly inconsistent results after multiple scan, I decided I needed something a bit more effective. When I received this product, I tested it out on the same walls that I was having trouble scanning in the past. This time I got consistent results every time, and a clear indication on where the center of the wood stud was behind the wall. So far, this product has met all my high expectations.

Studfinder that WORKS!

I have a 'name brand' stud finder that did nothing but frustrate me since the day I got it. Granted, it's a few years old, but the technology these units use isn't rocket science. Over the weekend, I was so po'd with the old unit I wanted to see how far I could throw it. I didn't throw it, but I DID research new usits and I purchased the VIVREAL . I ordered it from Amazon on Monday and I'm using it on Wednesday..........kudos to Amazon Prime. This unit is night and day different from my old one. And it didn't cost as much, either. THIS UNIT WORKS! It's very accurate, easy to use and great instructions are included. What a time saver!! It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I was a bit skeptical about the price of this unit.....I thought I'd have to spend more to get something that worked. I was wrong....this is a great unit at any price. I'm glad I stumbled on to this brand.......I'll be purchasing other products from them in the future!

Great 3 in 1 solution1

First of all: this stud finder works exactly as you would expect. I always find it difficult to pick a tool like this when there are so many choices on Amazon. I am very happy with this one! It comes with clear instructions and is very intuitive to use. It is extremely accurate and makes my home improvement projects so much easier. I have used it to put up a lot of shelving and it has been very reliable to find studs and electric currents in my wall. Make sure to read the instructions first to avoid any confusion. Sometimes you need to do multiple scans to establish exact stud location. All in all, this tool works great and you can't beat the price for what you get.

Much better than my budget Stanley finder.

Very well constructed, solid body finder. Easy to use, yet does take slightly longer than other finder for initial calibration before sweep. Would suggest a few extra passes to find exact center before drilling. Used it to mount floating shelf on a wall that shares with the hallway bathroom shower, and worked wonderfully. Much better than my old Stanley finder. Worth the money and would suggest to my crafty friends in the future.

Works As Advertised

Tested all applications and all passed with flying colors. Quickly found studs and electrical thru paneling with extremely heavy texture. Worked thru Hardy Board (Deep Scan). Found studs thru 1/2" sheathing and 1/2"siding (Deep Scan). Exactly found metal, both electrical and plumbing. Impressive handy tool. Picture shows finder over seam in heavily texturred wood paneling, dead center.

No brainer to learn and use.

Even I was able to open the box and within five minutes find the middle of a stud. See picture. Absolutely great for hanging pictures and installing LED TV frames. I am excited it comes with additional modes to find deep studs, metal and even AC wires.

Works exactly like it's supposed to.

Simple and reliable. Takes a 9v battery (not included) and has a low battery indicator. Great for using around the house on multiple surface types. Follow the included instructions for best results. It can find wood and metal studs as well as electrical wiring. Powers off automatically when the button on the side isn't being pressed. Has about a 3 second calibration each time you use it.

This thing is awesome! I've struggled to find one that actually works...this one does and identifies the center of the stud. No more extra holes and missed stud. I love it! It indicates visually and beeps when you have it centered.

Finally! No more guess work by tapping and putting small nail holes in the wall

I have verified that this device does indeed locate wood wall studs and Live AC wires accurately. My simple accuracy test was to find the center of my first stud and see if the second stud center was 24" apart. Center to center measured 23.75". For repeatability, I measured from that second stud to a third and it measured 24.25". I don't know what tolerance construction workers must keep but it is close enough for me. I have been disappointed for years with a variety of "Stud Finders". My search is over. I bought another one the same day I received this one and sent it out as a gift...Isn't it great to be satisfied with a tool? Congratulations Vivreal for putting out a very good product at a very nice price.
