Wow what a deal! They look sturdy, fit perfect and the check engine light is off even after driving 1500 miles. I was lucky to get a book on repairs my car had been thru since it was a rental. This part had been replaced ever 15000 or so miles after 60000. In my cars case about every year or year in a half. My car always ran great so without the engine light I may have damaged the engine not knowing there was a issue. Job took 20 minutes.

Easy to change Intake and Exhaust Actuators/Solenoid for the 2013 LT Equinox 2.4L gas

I dont know how long they are supposed to last so as to the question of how many stars I give it for mileage is I assume 5 stars until otherwise something happens. They are not the cheapest out there and quite a few were more expensive, so I went generally upper tier for quality parts. After you change them once they will never give you a hard time installing. It just looks like a hard repair because you are removing the top air box and hoses + the engine cover to get to them.

These solenoids saved me from a great big argument with the husband (see below for those details). My Equinox started missing and cutting off while idling or in low gear. I got a free diagnostic at a chain auto store which gave me two critical pieces of information, an error code and a recommended part replacement. After researching online and making a few phone calls to local auto repair stores (to determine cost of repairs), I decided I could handle the job on my own. With the help of a well executed how to video on YouTube, I had my car fixed quickly AND I saved $200+ dollars by not going to a mechanic! How did they save me from an argument with my husband? Well, I got a speeding ticket earlier in the week and he was not happy about it. I argued that any other time, I wouldn't have thought twice and just paid the ridiculous amount of money to get my car repaired. But since I got the ticket, I felt the need to save some money. Great news, in the end I saved more money than the ticket cost! AND my husband was impressed that this girl fixed her car and it continues to run. I am the winner of the chicken dinner, my friends.
