I WISH I HAD THIS IRON IN THE MARINE CORPS!!! I was a broke Marine so I couldn’t afford this anyway at the time... I FINALLY got rid of that raggedy iron I had and bought this guy!!! AMAZING! I only use filtered water in this iron bc I’m boujee like that. I’m sure I’ll have this for YEARS... probably for the rest of my life, it’s that good. I’ll be adding this item to my Will for my kids.

I am so thrilled with the iron. I didn't even know Chi made irons. I read all the reviews about this iron but was a little dubious about whether or not this iron was going to be good since I have never heard of it. WOW!! Was I surprised, I ironed my first blouse with it and knew I was going to love it. It is so smooth, light, and works beautifully. The clothing that I ironed looks like I just came home from the cleaners. I am so happy with it and I recommend it highly.

I've had cheaper irons and more expensive ones but none of them could compare to this one. It heats quickly and the number of holes in the sole plate allows for very thorough steam coverage. Today I stacked and ironed 6 100% cotton table napkins all at the same time and they had plenty of creases. The steam bursts are so powerful that with one pass the wrinkles were gone! I flipped the stack over and just to be sure, gave another shot. Perfect. I've never seen anything like it. It's a little heavier than I thought it would be, but not nearly as heavy as my Rowenta, which was more expensive and lasted only 3 years and I really don't even do that much ironing. I'm very happy I got this.

I've been ironing my clothes every day for the last 30 years and I have used many many irons. This one is awesome. I love it! It's very light, the retractable cord is great, and the steam and heat get the wrinkles out with ease. I have a Chi flat iron that I've used for years and I love it as well so I thought I'd try the Chi iron and I definitely was not disappointed.

I did alot of research for different irons. This name is well known in the hair industry so I assume all products were of the same quality, and this iron is! Easy to use. Steam is full and forceful which allows no need for starch ! Easy to use and manuever.

Disclaimer that I've only had this unit for less than a week. This iron fairly simple to use. Set the type clothing, ie. wool, cotton, etc. which determines the how the titanium infused ceramic plate gets. Set the steam level for automation. Every few seconds the unit automatically release the said amount of steam. I'm glad I opted for the retractable cord, as I feel like any unit with a cord should be made retractable. This should be a standard! This Iron also beeps turns off atomically after 60 seconds when stood up. - Beeps and turns off automatically after 30 seconds when laid flat or on the side. Pretty nifty feature and just nice to know in the back of your mind that a hot iron has a safety feature. I will write an update if after time and use to see if the product holds up even after time, but for an initial run I'd say this is definitely a premium product at this price range.

I was honestly very skeptical of the reviews on this, but man was I wrong. This thing looks beautiful, is extremely powerful, well-made, solid in the hand, and has probably one of the best cord retract mechanisms I've ever used on an iron with this feature. The thing was so strong it whipping the cord back so fast I was like woah! I'm a guy and do minimal ironing (dress shirts and pants for work) and love it. Great heat output and the steaming is insane strong. The water spout is great and makes for easy fill at the sink. And the controls are simple, well marked, and easy to set and reset. If you're in need of a powerful iron that works great, is solid, strong and consistent heat and steam output, easy to use, and looks cool this is the one for you.

I used this iron once and instantly fell in love with it. It creates a lot of steam, allowing for quick starch free creasing of my Levi jeans, but gentle enough for my iron free dress shirts. The iron is a little pricey, but so far worth every cent.

Quality iron— great steam and weight to press dress shirts and slacks. We iron almost daily and, admittedly, can be iron snobs. We are happy with this iron— good weight, a lot of steam, and nice quality.

Purchased for my girlfriend who has other CHI products for her hair and she absolutely loves it. Far out performs the price point it's being sold at (compared to other irons we have purchased in the same space). It heats up quickly, evenly, and the steam button provides the most satisfying whoosh followed by a boat load of steam. We've had this for a little over a month so can't speak to durability, but will update this review if we have any problems.
