I like the alert on the button mounted on the steering wheel, since directly in front of driver it catches attention more than the detector which I have mounted under my rear view mirror.

No cord hanging down
Easy to install you can run wire under headliner and down frame to a power source. I like to run my detector completely dark and this works great because there is a light when the detector is getting power and a separate light that flashes with the strength of the signal being received .

I'm installing this to my Honda Civic Hatchback 2017. Could have been 4 stars because it came without any instructions on how you install it. Hahaha you just gonna figure it out I guess....

Hard wire for the win
Hardworking is much better than having a cord block part of my view wilhuling driving. Installation was easy since I used a fuse tap and was able to tuck all the wires without any hassles. Having the button is nice as I can mute pesky false alarms quickly.
