Unexpectedly Delicious & Filling

I was introduced to Peatos by a friend and so I thought I'd give them a try. I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the first bag, but holy cow - I couldn't stop eating them! I had a handful of the peatos and was full after eating them. They're delicious and filling and I feel much better eating these than any other cheesy-snack out there (you know who I'm talking about). I'm excited to keep trying new flavors and have a great, go-to snack!

Surprisingly delicious!

These are totally addictive! They are crispy, crunchy, and flavorful. I also don't feel gross after eating an entire bag. What a pleasant surprise to have a healthy alternative to some of the other flamin' hot snacks on the market. These taste fantastic!

So I was one of those kids who was never (I mean never) was allowed to have Cheetos or any other cheese puff, or doodle, or ball. So when I discovered the magic of cheese puffs in my 20's, I was like WHAT?!, cheese puffs are awesome. But along with that awesomeness comes a little bit (let's be serious, a lotta-bit) of guilt about eating a half a bag of Cheetos. WELL BYE BYE GUILT! You jerky guilt, because Peatos is made is good ingredients and yes I eat the whole bag. Cheetos are out, Peatos are in. I even feel great about feeding them to my son. I don't want to deny him the magic of cheese-puffery like I was. Peatos thanks for making a classic (magical) cheese puff with good, healthier ingredients. Keep it up!!

Be careful - you'll want to eat the whole bag at once!

Love love love these! The Masala is my favorite flavor, followed by fiery and then the original cheese. I actually am not a fan of Cheetos, so I was surprised by how much I have enjoyed these. Love that they are good ingredients and have a ton of fiber and protein. Great snack!

Tigers > Cheetahs

Note: I don't really write reviews, but I was so blown away felt the need mid-snack. These pretty much made me cry, and not just because they're so hot. Their texture and taste bring me back to the days when I used to eat flamin' hot cheetos with abandon..disregarding the beef powder. Yes, they're pricey, but you get what you pay for: quality, select ingredients. As another reviewer said, I'd buy em in bulk if I could (afford to). Highly recommend, especially to those fellow junk food vegans out there.

It's the anti-junk-food.

High in protein and fiber, low in fat and carbs, satisfying and delicious. I am in love with these. All four flavors are delicious. I don't eat wheat and these had showed up in the gluten free section of my local store, but only in the Classic Cheese. After trying them, I wanted to try the rest of the flavors. World Peas is clearly not afraid of spices. All the flavors are bold and well balanced at the same time. The pulse flour makes for a very satisfying, filling snack. I'm the queen of eating the whole bag, whatever it is, but I literally got 3 or 4 servings out of each bag.

Excellent new delicious snack but I found cheaper at grocery store

Ok I hardly like anything, and I’m in love with these. Finally a new cheesy snack that feels hearty, has a great crunchy texture and much better ingredients. I think they taste awesome and I’m super picky. They’ve been out of stock at my Kroger for so long that I broke down and ordered them here, even though the grocery sells them for $2.99 and they go on sale for $2.50. Can’t believe I paid more at Amazon. Next time I’ll wait and long for that cheesy goodness until it’s back in stock at the grocery.

Yummy Classic Cheese flavor

We discovered these snacks at our local Kroger (and $3 a bag there), but we don't always see them there. As others have said, these are addictive. They are tastier than Cheetos, with more of a cheese flavor in the classic cheese flavor. The bags are smallish, but I'm guessing that the ingredients going into these are a little more expensive than those going into Cheetos, and the smaller bag gives a lower price point.

Bought these because they’re “hot Cheetos”

I originally bought these because of the reviews claiming they are healthier hot Cheetos. Yes and no. Yes they have a slight tang and are similar texture, but no because the flavor is very different. I think it’s more of a tangy smoky bbq-like flavor. I was surprised when I first tried them with the expectation of hot Cheetos. I would say try these without that expectation. You will find they are delicious and comparing ingredients with these and Cheetos, I will take these “Cheetos” any day!!

I would buy these in bulk if I could.

I’ve been vegan for almost five years, and there hasn’t been a single non-vegan product that I’ve missed or craved, except for hot cheetos. I lived off of them as a kid, and giving them up was kind of a bummer, even though it was for the best. Over the years I’ve tried finding replacements, but honestly they all sucked. Until now at least. These are exactly what I was waiting for. I wasn’t sure at first, but by my second bag I was sold. I’m recommending these to all of my friends, and I really hope these are in stores soon. (SF Bay Area, get on ittttttt pls.) Extra bonus is that the ingredients aren’t a mile long with a bunch of mystery chemical X’s. My only issue is how long it takes to ship, but I’d like to believe it’s just cause they’re so popular. It’s also kind of a bummer that Peato’s other products have cheese, but hey, this one doesn’t. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Try these if you haven’t!
