Amazing Light!
I took this out for the first time this weekend to go tidepooling at 2am. The ocean was pitch black, but this light illuminated EVERYTHING. I would not recommend using it as your primary flashlight, because the light was fading at the end of our 2 hour adventure (being turned ON for nearly the whole 2 hours). It worked great underwater too. I was able to get clear footage of lobsters, eels, and octopuses without having the intense spotlight effect of a flashlight. Everything was so evenly lit. I would definitely recommend for anybody looking for an underwater or waterproof light. I know you can't link to youtube videos on amazon, but if you go to youtube and search for: Nocturnal Tidepooling at La Jolla Shores pacificyo - you will see the type of footage I was able to capture.

Nice light, brighter than the 3 LED version with 2 batteries
I bought this and the 3 larger LEDs model of the same brand that houses 2 batteries. The light of this 16 LED model appears brighter and better / more uniform quality. But the other light lasts twice as much on a charge. I used these on a dive. I am not sure if I'd buy again the 2 battery model as this one is more portable, smaller and provides better lighting. The 2 battery model although could be useful in an emergency or when bright light is needed for more than 90 minutes. 2 batteries do not make it brighter just last longer. Anyway this works fine, easy to charge via USB cable, nice and compact. Not superbright as some torches, but at the same time lighting is uniform without hot spot in the center. Wide enough.

Bright!
This light is a great companion to anyone who uses a GoPro or similar action camera. Or even for someone who just wants a waterproof light. It mounts to all GoPro accessories, allowing you to use it as a wearable or mountable light if you don't need to record whatever it is you're doing. The buckle mount on top lets you attach a camera. Water resistance is present and accounted for. I have not taken it diving, but have experienced no housing leakage with several short-duration short-depth tests. The design looks solid. This takes Hero3-series batteries. If you have a Hero3 that you upgraded, but still have your old batteries, they'll find a great home here. The light spread fills the typical action camera's field of view quite nicely. You'll experience some viginetting during near-work with the camera/light within a few feet of the subject, but that'll fall off as you get further away. I recommend using "Low" power for up close work, and "High" power for further away subjects or fill lighting. Battery life is as advertised. I have had no problems with charging the battery - it rests securely in the carriage, and isn't jostled by anything that I would subject something that's currently charging to. It weighs just over 100g - about the same weight as a Hero 4 Silver without its housing. Weight could be a concern when using this with a camera installed on top. The Hero 5 series Floaty accessory can carry the camera, this light, and most common wearable mounts. It cannot carry this with a "Three Way" stick unless you remove the mini tripod from the base, or the extension arms.

good underwater light
easy to use, two brightness settings (plus a third pulsing setting which for me was useless), acceptable battery life, quick recharge used this light for a week of diving including a couple of night dives ... for night diving the less-bright setting was more useful for me, the bright setting would cause the center of images to be washed-out. actually wish that it had one even less bright setting instead of the pulsing/strobe option - that would have made it perfect for night dives (the problem is that with the GoPro I needed to be CLOSE on the subject which would cause the light to be too bright and wash-out the vids & pics) battery life was acceptable - first day turned it on at the beginning of the dive (60 min), off during surface interval, and then back on for the second dive - by about 1/2 of the second dive (30 min) the light was too dim to be functional ... charged over night and from then on would just turn in on/off as needed for shots which allowed it to work for two 60 minute dives a day overall am satisfied with this

Decent light for diving
Worked decent on my diving rig! It uses GoPro hero 3 form-factor batteries making charging a breeze. It helped correct the colors lost underwater, not sure it’s enough for night/cave diving but it was bright enough to fill the shadows and light small reef holes to see what is inside. The light is flat and has a wide, gentle hotspot. It worked fine to 85ft.

Great little bit of light
Took this to Key largo on a go pro recently. Took it down 11 times, without issues. Max depth was probably 35 feet, with 98% spent only 25 feet down. At that low depth in key largo water, the max brightness on this lamp doesn't do much more than the sun already provides. You have to get close (recommend a selfie stick) or go under a ledge/swim though to have the light help much. It helped us find a few things in shadows, and brought some good color out in a few closeups, but it's too dim to do much. Best part of this light is it has a go pro mount above and below - allowing you to add it onto a stick/mount you already use. Recommend having a selfie stick though.

This light is Bad Ass!
This is a bad ass little light! we used this lights on all kind of things. I've had mind for over 8 mounts now, we bought it to used on a cage system with my gopro to film under water. It is really bright and throws a lot of lite for a little light. We also started used it with the gopro head mount as a head light to were just over are mask for night diving on over 50+ night dives now. Now I keep one in the truck to use when ever I need to light something up, on my head while riding 4-wheeler or hunting pack and so on. It's small and lightweight, made of a hard molded plastic with a clear lens and 36 led-s in it. I've knock it off my head into mud, drop it out of my tree at 15' to the ground ( it was in soft dirt but still) talking it down to 120' of water (it's very water proof) a bunch of times on 20 minutes dives 4 to 5 times a night and the same battery all night. The battery last a really long time also. I've been really impressed with this light and have 6 of them now. I highly recommend it especial for the money.

Great for Diving !
Following another reviewer's recommendations, I bought the SUPTIG Diving lights, the SMATREE aluminium mounts to mount the lights, a FITSTILL case, and a lanyard (from my dive shop), and I had a great camera rig for the GoPro Hero 5 I already had. Dove down to 70ft - no issues and great video footage. The only CON I have is the flashing mode - a dive light really does not need that, and you've got to remember to cycle through the 3 modes (high, low, flashing) which is an unnecessary distraction when diving and filming. That said, for the money, I'd buy again.

Very good product.
Worked good and easy to turn on and off while scuba diving. Did not leak and the battery lasted two full tank dives with more life to spare.

What a great light. I didn't know what to expect as I couldn't really settle on one brand or another. Nothing was really all-the-way 5 stars. But this one is awesome. Very well made, feels premium and it is ridiculously bright. Let me repeat. Brightness level = RIDICULOUS. Already had a charge when I opened it, so I of course blinded myself when I found out where the power button was. Secure and tight, this is for sure waterproof. Can't wait to use it for some night swimming. Came with a nice little twist lock wrench which I haven't seen before. Would have been a nice touch to include a cheap little pouch, but I can live without. I'll just store it in the little plastic wrap it came with. Worth the money. Very satisfied.
