Fantastic Features and Value

The features and accuracy really impress this professional HVAC/energy engineer, especially for $35. It even includes a datalogging feature, very useful for intermittent problems like the one I'd otherwise struggled troubleshooting. This thing practically paid for itself before I had the battery installed, which isn't a fitment issue, as reported by another reviewer, if you're careful in how you route the connector wiring. Not only can you troubleshoot dozens of aspects of your complex (condensing, variable speed, 2-stage cooling) furnace/AC, but you can validate proper natural gas pressure, verify when your fancy pleated filter *actually* needs changing, test how balanced your HVAC system airflow is, and along with an IR thermometer and a decent kitchen vent hood and/or restroom exhausts, even approximate a blower door test on your home to seal those pesky drafts. I was so impressed of this unit's value, I bought another the next day for a HVAC technician friend who typically totes a plethora of analog Magnehelic gauges to obtain the same range/functionality. Is it a $150 Dwyer/UEi/Fieldpiece? Of course not. But does it provide 95% of the bang for 20% of the buck? You bet! Bravo.

Meter works very well

This unit works very very well and very easy to use. I actually found a problem in my hvac ventilation system with it. (found some youtube videos help you understand what to measure) If you are burning out blower motors, this is the meter you want. It also showed me that my filter was dirty and that I need to go back to fiberglass filters because the paper ones restrict the air to much for my 1987 designed system. The only criticisms I have is the "units of measure" display is so tiny it's very hard for me to read without a magnifying glass and that it came with very short(about 6 inches) hoses. The actual display of the pressure reading is large and easy to read and has a backlight! . Overall I give it an A-. Now off to find some adequate length hose for my next set of measurements in the attic.

Works great for the price

bought it to check my furnace filter and ducting I have a pricey 4" filter that tears up when removed. This allows me to check the pressure drop and only replace when needed. Since I am looking for relative readings, I am not worried about accuracy. Bonus, my drip irrigation tubing fits and I have rolls of it.

Works like advertised!

My furnace was cutting out and the indication was 4 blinks which means it was getting too hot. The Inches of water column when I first tested was 3.9 and it should have been 3.0 to 3.7. I adjusted it down to 3.4 and all is well. This meter saved my furnace from undo dropping out. This meter is very accurate and reliable!

Works great & priced right

I wasn't sure what to expect for the $35.00 price but was pleasantly surprised. Operation is simple, the screen is very clear and easy to view. I wanted to verify LP line pressure ahead of a gas log set burner appliance. When connected I was able to monitor & raise the inlet pressure at the regulator to the required level. This test kit goes right into my tool box

easy to see for testing

It works great. and I saved money. My first use was gas testing pressure into the house and then the secondary pressure after the regulator for my tank-less water heater. It came with silicone hoses. To small for my secondary pressure test.so I had to make a adapter which was easy.

Quality manometer at great price

Product as described, very competitive price, delivered in one day. Used manometer to identify LP gas leak in RV stove. Earned its keep that day, but it has many functions I have not yet tried, so expect to get lots of use from this tool.

Economical Manometer Functions As Advertised

I needed a manometer to adjust gas pressures to properly install a new furnace. The Hti Xintai was economical and proved to be easy to operate and accurate.

A quality, inexpensive must have tool

Purchased this to trouble shoot my pool heaters gas valve. It paid for itself in the first use. Well worth the $30 investment.
