Just a great design that works well.

They are a wonderful design, and able to take crude salt and pepper corns in either. Of course I filled them up as soon as I received them today, but used both as pepper grinders, since they are suited for both. One is used for mixed pepper corns and the other for crushed red pepper. I tested them. The grind is completely adjustable, and the fact that they are sealed from the atmosphere until use is a fabulous feature to keep the contents fresh. At times of the year we have high humidity here. In addition they are inexpensive as well as being beautiful. I thank you for making these available to the marketplace, and will be ordering more as gifts for my friends.

Good product at a good price!

I looked in many discount stores for REFILLABLE grinders for salt. Nothing. So I went to Amazon and found several. I decided on the kibaga set based on price since there were several similar sets. I loaded coarse salt in one and my favorite telicherry pepper in the other. I played with the fineness settings. The markings on the grinder wheel are clear. I like my pepper very coarse-it is more favorable this way. I made fried eggs as my first trial. I liked the feel of the grinders. They fit my hand comfortably and made grinding coarse salt easier than the cheap store bought prefilled grinders I started with. I got the coarseness I wanted on both salt and pepper. I still have a slight pepper taste and tingle on my tongue as I write this. I like that I am supporting a family business. I like my grinders so much that I plan to order several sets for my kids who cook. They have grinders but I think they will like these enough to use in favor over what they have. They can always try a new flavored salt or have coarse pepper in one and fine pepper in another. I highly recommend this product!!

Great product even better customer service!

I received these last weekend and when I tried them out, one of the grinders seemed to have an issue (to be honest, I wasn't sure if it was the grinder or me). At any rate, I posted a question on the product page about it and I was contacted almost immediately by a representative from the seller. They asked me to contact them through my order and they sent out a replacement set right away. I didn't even have to return the other set. The new set works like a dream. I also love a couple of other things about them. 1) They hold a lot more salt and pepper than my old grinders did. 2), They look great. It's a set that would be just as comfortable on a nicely set dining room table as they would be in the kitchen. Great product, great customer service. Great salt and pepper grinder but is it really worth it?

What kind of boring adult have I become my inner self lamented as I opened the package containing my new KIBAGA Salt and Pepper Grinders. "OMG these are really nice" I exclaimed to my wife, utterly unaware of the banality of this moment. "THIS is what a salt and pepper grinder are supposed to be" I mused utterly in denial of the suffering of billions of other human lives. "I really like how much they hold as well" I remarked missing the irony of the statement due to the void of consumerism that has gripped my soul. While these salt and pepper grinders have done NOTHING to raise the moral/spiritual/ethical status of my life they have definitely made cooking more enjoyable and predictable. Isn't that the TRUE american dream in our modern age, comfort and predictability?

Great Price and Beautiful

I purchased this product because I was looking for a finer grind for my himalayan salt. It is just a little wheel for the grind but when you find the right one, just leave it. This is a great purchase and a great price. I went looking elsewhere and everything was two and three times more expensive and they were acrylic not glass. These were a lot bigger than I thought. I figured they would be half the size because of price but I was soooo wrong.

High quality great product with a personal touch

These are from a Small family company that takes pride in thier work. These are a nice size work wonderful are adjustable for grain size. They are easy in the hands and have a smooth action. Better quality product then I have found anywhere else. I plan on getting lther products from this company and will probably gift a few sets of these to others.

Grinds my Strange Fancy Salt

Don't make the mistake of washing these and not letting them dry long enough, because I was too eager after washing them to start using, so when I added salt, it all got stuck to the bottom of the glass... Besides that though, these are good grinders. I didn't think they would be able to grind this interesting fancy salt I buy that comes in these small but sharp pieces, but they ground it really well. Pretty easy to use and store upside down with the cap. They are large, but not too big, and look elegant.

Couldn't Be Happier

I love these! I'd gotten a salt and pepper grinder set as a housewarming gift many years ago, so I never looked at another set. Recently, I began using Pink Himalayan Salt experimentally, and while the old grinder did (eventually) grind the salt, it wasn't an easy process, nor did it get the salt as fine as I thought I would like it to be. So I resorted to browsing Amazon's products and found these. Wow, what a difference! The grinders work extremely well - it takes little time and effort to produce the right amount. I love that you can adjust how course or fine you want the result to be. I love how tall and stately these are. And I love the caps on top that stop the grinder to get grodie and gross. :-D So now I know what to get my friends when it's time to give a housewarming gift.

Update - customer service A+++

The salt shaker was covered in salt residue, had clearly been used and returned and not even cleaned. These are huge as well, way too big, comically tall. Just a dumb product with worse quality/return/shipping control. Update: the company (not Amazon) reached out to me after above review, I didnt contact them, and shipped me a new set for free without a return. I still think they're too big for my taste but customer service is 10/10, thanks. Above and beyond service, they are nice just tall.

No more peppercorn chunks!

Over the last few months I have begun using salt & pepper grinders...you know, the cheap plastic ones that come with salt and peppercorns already in them. I have grown to enjoy using them and the flavor truly is better. I have also found that the cheaper grinders can be more difficult to use as I mature. ( You can read that as get older....I'm fine with that). So I check out Amazon and find this grinder set. The reviews looked good so I ordered. The company that sells it sounds wonderful! Great customer service wins me over every time. I have used this set for 1 day and love it already. The packaging was fantastic. (Meaning I enjoyed the bubble wrap and it was attractive and easily opened) The grinder set are very nice in appearance and are well made. They are a nice weight in my hand and shaped well so they won't slip out of my hand. One of the things my husband hates about grinders is they don't grind very finely and would leave little chunks of peppercorn. That is NOT a problem with this set. Thanks for a great product!
