Great little unit to replace a Frigidaire of similar description. Used in master bedroom on 3rd floor to keep laundry easy and more manageable. Big enough to do a single bedspread (if it's not too thick). Efficient, compact in adjoining closet, easy to operate, with enough choices to leave the operator in control, not the machine!

I choose this because my set up requires a stackable. I love it! The sound it makes is a bit different, but I love being able to add clothes while the water is filling AND have the lid up for 15 minutes!! It has a higher water level than my Kenmore which was a terrible waste of money. 8 years old and repaired many times.

Larger capacity than I thought

This thing is a beast. It washes and dries a bigger load than my old side by side units. It has a bunch of settings that I finally decided I didn't really need, I just use the auto setting unless I really need something special. Washes and dries pretty quick and it's rather quiet. Also the final spin cycle squeezes so much water out of the clothes they don't take long to dry. Pros are: Quiet Big loads Washes and dries at the same time. Has all kinds of energy and water saving features. Takes up less space. Big honkin loads. Cons: If you're short, you may have trouble getting all the clothes out of the dryer . Because it's stacked you have to pull the clothes out of the washer, then spin the drum a bit to get to the ones in the back. This doesnt bother me but again if you're short... You should probably take the lint trap out before emptying the dryer since things tend to catch on it and pull it out anyway.

Good machine ( recommended) , but bad dealers

I purchased this machine around a month ago. It worked well but it was making some noises, so I contacted this Sellers Dynamic deals. Those guys didn't helped me at all, all the opposite they tried to scare me with the process and price of sending the machine back. Then I contacted GE directly, and I found out that, like Amazon, they have a excellent Customer Service, so we were able to solve the problem. I recommend the machine, is a good one. But don't buy it from this dealers, there are other ones where you can buy. My 5 stars are for the machine.

I’m very impressed with the stackable washer and dryer I am definitely not impressed with shipping it arrived finally this past Sunday at almost 11 o’clock at night. Delivery have been postponed twice , One Time by me due to the weather we had a tornado warning so I told the driver to reschedule so that was not his fault but otherwise I think maybe if I buy appliances I will buy them local
